It took considerable effort not to crack a smile at her response, but he kept his cool for his own sake. Unfortunately he had no way of deleting any of the information without her noticing, the device was only really used for storage. She would have what she came for, and he wouldn't leave completely empty-handed, it was a win for the both of them.

She just couldn't know that, not until it was too late to stop him at least.

He gave no reply as he dipped a hand into his pockets, searching for a moment before producing the datacard. A simple insert and press of a button later and the code appeared on the screen. A menu opened up, offering a variety of options and files for the user to interact with. He even idly spotted something about the defense systems and the communication array, but those options were offline.

Oddly enough he got the impression that 'offline' really meant that they were unsalvageable. He glanced down at the datacard as he moved his hands away from the terminal, wishing it to be faster in its copying.

"There, you should have access to everything." He stood back and gestured for her to step in. His gaze landed on the datacard still inserted into the computer before continuing. "Everything that I can get you into at least. If there's secret information classified at all then it may be locked behind another code, but I wouldn't have that anyway."

"Still, I doubt that you'll be lacking in reading material." Having delayed for as long as he could, he quickly reached and plucked the device from the computer. It didn't have enough time to get everything, of that he was sure, but it would have to be enough.

Alisteri gave the Jedi a small nod as he slipped the datacard back into his pocket.

"Have fun with your research. Do let me know if you find anything worthwhile." With that he moved to get past her and head for the exit, content with whatever he had managed to copy from the system.

The woman's body tensed up slightly, and her hand shifted to the hilt of her lightsaber while she watched the Sith reach into his pocket, almost as if to prepare for any unexpected actions from him. But once the datacard was pulled out, she almost wanted to sigh in relief - she really didn't want this situation to escalate. It was uncomfortable and unusual to her as is.
As he inserted the card, her eyes would be drawn to the screen where the codes they needed finally appeared. She was completely oblivious to the fact that files were being downloaded at the same time, but as he expected correctly, he wouldn't have much time to get his download done.
Valery stepped up to the terminal and watched him from the corner of her eyes, as he stepped away.
"This should be sufficient." she somewhat dryly.
With just a quick skim through the available material, she spotted plenty of files that piqued her interest. Especially locations of other Sith assets were important to her because those could mean potential new targets. There was no way she'd allow any Sith to use what is available in this region again for their destructive wars.
"Oh, I'm sure all of this is very worthwhile. You've done the Jedi a great service," she said with a slight grin before she watched him depart. In a way, he had likely doomed some Sith out there, or perhaps an artifact or two. But with the information he did get his hands on, he'd also be able to retrieve some himself.
Following his departure, Valery quickly began to take notes of the files and attempted a download onto a device of her own. She had the time, so she made sure to get everything - encrypted files included if the transfer was possible. She wouldn't be able to get access to them, but there surely were people out there who could assist her.
Today's expedition to Felucia had been quite successful, but she still wondered..
Did she make the right decision when it came to the Sith she met? Was he evil beyond redemption or just another soul tempted by the Dark Side, but one with hope?
Only time will tell.

His stride paused for a moment as she spoke her last remark, feeling his eye twitch and his hand subconsciously reach for the weapon hidden in his sleeve. There was no winning in a fair fight, but if her back was turned he could maybe a hit in and hopefully strike a leg or an arm to severely reduce her combat capabilities. But he didn't, instead he merely resumed walking until he was out of the building.

Perhaps he should have gone back and stopped her, or figured out where her ship was and disabled it so that she couldn't leave the planet easily. Perhaps. Yet didn't consider it for too long.

Let her have this victory. He mused. Let the Jedi have their little witch hunt. All the Sith left out here are either too elusive or too insane to be useful anyway. Putting a few more bodies on the pile will do little but be a propaganda boost for them anyway. Alisteri looked down at the datacard in his hand as he reached the edge of the clearing and stepped into the dense foliage of the planet once more.

Against all odds he had come out with something. Not much of course, but it was better than nothing.

As he made his way back through the jungle towards his shuttle, only one thought occupied his mind at the moment. That Jedi was fooled...by me of all people. They aren't as infallible as they claim, and they're mortal enough to die based on the war...The thought idly made him wish he had the strength to take her on and slay her, but he pressed on towards his escape.

If they can be fooled...they can be killed. Or better yet, converted...

Suffice to say that his mind would be very preoccupied on the ride back to familiar and safe space, even without the data from the station for reading material.
