The Living Force [Coci]

Mysa mulled over everything Coci had just said while rising up from the grass and preparing to walk alongside her Master. She even scratched her head a little bit. "You said you didn't agree with the direction the Republic were taking" she finally said, chewing her lip as she pondered her next few words, "Did they do something wrong? I mean... Not wrong but... I mean, surely something had to have happened to make you want to leave to join the Sanctum?"

She blushed, feeling rather tongue tied. There was a lot to take in, yet her confusion over why the Jedi were so splintered and different both as an overall organization and as individual sects was forefront in her mind. "I think I want to be a healer" she added, with a slight nod of her head as if agreeing with herself. "But one who knows how to defend people, not just mend them and make them better." A battle medic of sorts, perhaps? Mysa really didn't know. Was there even such a thing in the Sanctum? Well... Furry did both, didn't he? And Coci did a little of both? Yes, she would follow in their footsteps, only with more of a focus on healing than fighting.

She looked down at Mysa and smiled, pleased she was asking so many questions, it was a good sign that Mysa wanted to seek knowledge of everything, not just the force. However, she did sigh a little, recalling the past events. "Well, at that time there was much going on with the Republic. They had too much control over the Jedi Order, which, like Master E'ron who founded the Silver Jedi, and I did not like. I don't believe that Jedi should be involved in politics, in the Sanctum we try not to interfere in the governments of the systems that we protect. But sometimes there is trouble and we go and help. But by and large, we let them govern".

The two walked back toward the Temple, "The Republic has always had problems of corruption within the Senate and sometime in the Jedi Order too. We are but sentient beings and make mistakes. Even me, I make them too, but without mistakes we cannot learn. Master E'ron was right, the Republic is still in turmoil were we stand strong".

Coci and Mysa reached the bottom of the stair leading up to the Temple, she looked at the vast doors that led into the main area and beyond that the large blue crystal infused with the lightside of the force. She remembered that day, the Jedi masters and others had stood to empower the crystal so it would protect them all, and give the light to them each and every time they enter. "I am hungry are you? Lets go home and I shall cook. What would you like me to cook you?". The Jedi Master had now vanished and a mother stood in her place.

She nodded to the sentiments expressed. "Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them" she whispered, remembering part of the New Jedi Code. She liked the codes, and Skywalkers was her favourite. It was a little more informative. Although the mantra and refined were rather poetic.

Mysa walked alongside her Master and Guardian as they ventured toward the Temple, her eyes straying back to the beautiful trees they were leaving behind. Such a world away from metal-prisons and icy worlds. Though she did miss Midvinter.

"Do you think they do it on purpose? Or are they just trying to help too much?"

She couldn't fathom the idea of Jedi purposely going out of their way to control the Republic, and she especially didn't like the idea of the Republic using the Jedi as some sort of weapon. That would lead to the Jedi going against their own codes.

Following Coci's gaze as they settled at the bottom of the stairs, she couldn't help but smile. She could even hear the change in her tone, from Master to Guardian. It was motherly, though Mysa didn't see those connotations.

At the question her stomach rumbled, and the girl nodded her head. "I'm hungry, though I don't mind what we have for lunch!"

Coci always made wonderful food, after all.
