Valery blinked, turned a deep shade of red, and then started laughing. She wasn't embarrassed at all, but the joke and especially the straight face he had just made it way too funny. Then he started laughing too, and she leaned into him to join him in that moment of fun. But... she also agreed — going home really did sound nice right about now.
It was totally the fight that had them exhausted, after all.
