The New Girl

Sno nodded at the instructions given by [member="Quenladose"] . She closed her eyes and held her hands out as she had when showing her how to use the Force. She breathed deep, trying to feel a sense of the Force itself as she took it in. For a while nothing seemed to happen as she just stood there breathing. However the more she kept her mind calmed the more she could feel something inside her. A sense of the Force she'd never felt before. Long had she sensed around her but never within her. Sno took more deep breaths as small flickers began to appear on her hands. They fluttered, never becoming full, but they were apparent enough to show she was getting something of a reaction.

There we go, the padawan had it for a brief moment, slowly allowing the force to flow there before she clasped her hands and moved around. Tip toeing almost around the padawan to make sure she had the right form and presentation for the techniques. It was a form of meditation for moving instead of just sitting there while the jedi knight bent the light around herself and the padawan. One of her real talents and why she was skilled in. Keeping her eyes while she held the sukiban in its sheath adjusting the stance where needed. "There we go, you are doing it and should be feeling the force more. With practice and some time it will become easier to generate around you and connect to but for a padawan just off the ship you are doing very well."

After stopping to hear what [member="Quenladose"] had said Sno stopped and realized how different she felt. The Force had indeed done something to her, but not just moving things or helping her to tell when someone was approaching in secret. This was different. She actually felt some deeper power move through her in a way she didn't fully understand. Yet. She looked back to the Jedi and nodded, understanding what she was doing was the first step on the right path towards some higher calling, perhaps beyond what she originally wanted.

She could feel that there was some perceptable shift in her padawans stance and feeling almost. It was early to look and say she had done an amazing job and was awesome but she could say she had opened her eyes to the larger things she could become. "Very good, you are feeling it now. The force is in everything, it is in the air, it permeates us, surrounds us, binds the galaxy together. Very few things exist without it touching them and while all in the galaxy can't feel or use it. It is still within them." She stayed there adjusting her robes. "Now do you have a training lightsaber or a blade from your homeworld? Where we are going you'll see wonders for sure but there is always a chance for danger."

The way [member="Quenladose"] had spoken of the nature of the Force had begun to make Sno understand a little more. Indeed it was some deeper power in the universe that could only truly be known by those who understood and used as the force users did. She nodded to her to indicate she understood however when asked about a training weapon Sno scratched the back of her head. Obviously she'd not had the idea of using a saber so soon and the only other weapons she'd ever used were blasters and the sort.

Alright then. She moved a little and wondered what Sno would use for this.. mostly it was just walk around in the tunnels and learn about some of the creatures native to the world. You could see the fish for instance with their dangerous toxins or the little bunny pigs that ran around. All of the things were useful like the small mouse pets the jedi could work with and train to become companions and familiars. It wasn't uch but she removed the sukiban blast sword presenting it. "For now, we'll head down so you can practice your skills in the force. Working on some of the things like controlling and sensing other creatures down there. It is a safer version of the shadowlands but can still be dangerous."

After being given a training weapon Sno had looked towards the cave where [member="Quenladose"] had spoken of. It looked as dangerous as she made it sound, even to where Sno gave a little uneasy growl. However since this was all part of the training, and Jedi were probably taught to not fear anything, she sighed and nodded that she would follow. As they went for the cave however Sno continued to stay as close to her master as possible like a child being escorted by their parent. Even wookies had their less than courageous sides.

That was something she hadn't been expecting to see, a wookiee seemingly scared but well she knew they were many things. So why not? It just meant Sno could learn to overcome it and be that much stronger for it.... Also meant had to be careful and not go towards the caves where the massive fifty meter tall monster slept with its massive clutch of eggs. Those would get anyone a little scared while walking through the tunnels and the carved stone gave way to natural walls with crystals in them. Lining all the way around for them to work with as the force resonated and the amberite creatures sat there tinting the crystals a different color.

Despite the terrifying feeling in her gut Sno had to admire the beauty of the cave. The creatures, while alien to her, seemed to fit so well into their ecosystem that it was quite beautiful. That didn't stop Sno from staying close to [member="Quenladose"] as they continued further down. She wondered how far they would go, perhaps towards the deepest parts of the system itself.

The deeper they could go down the more the jedi knight could see while going over things in her head. Lighting up the area though as they could go deeper and the jedi teams down here had worked to add as much as they could to it. The deeper areas with some exceptions were sectioned off for them to mark the ends to which they had explored, She could sense and see somethings from the padawan while she spoke offering a reassuring pat of her arm. "Are you alright?"

Sno gave a quick nod and grunt, indicating she was fine. While it wasn't fully true she was at least growing accustom enough to the idea of being in the cave and dealing with whatever was down here. All part of being a Jedi after all. Her hand went up to take her arm as they kept walking since the darker it got the harder it was to tell where things were exactly.

Alright then if all was fine... not perfect or great but fine.. She could go with that and the really dangerous things they would and could encounter didn't venture that close to them as she looked over more of the things there. The cave getting the crystals formations and light to it while they passed the final doors leading into the underground rivers and streams. The natural glow from the crystals not bright enough to give all the details but not dark enough that you couldn't see with a little training of your eyes. That was something she could work with. "Alright we can train down here where it is out of the way for the most part. If anything bad should happen there is no risk to others."

The more deeper they went the more beautiful this place seemed to be. Snotatha looked as they walked among the crystals and thought how it was like a hard, shiny underground jungle of sorts. When [member="Quenladose"] had stopped and told they would work here Sno nodded before looking around again. Her curiosity begged her to continue looking if only for the sake of making sure nothing bad DID happen while they trained.

Quenladose looked at the waters and crouched down a little getting some looks at all of the things. She could work here on a few of the things while making a small face when she came up with her hand on some of the water. "Alright, I taught you how to feel the force, now use it to manipulate the water. The ebb and flow of it you can do with your breathing and movement." SHe was standing there and moving her hands. "Forward and back, expansion and contraction with the flow of the water where it is lapping at the shore.
