GENERAL INFORMATION
Organization Name
: The Noble House of Lutris
Classification: Noble Family of Arkania
Affiliation:
House Lutris is a noble lineage of Arkanian origin, outwardly aligned with the Sith Order and the reigning regime of Darth Empyrean, though the relationship is one of calculated proximity rather than loyalty.

Despite being the genetic architects of Empyrean himself, the Emperor harbors a deep and enduring hatred for the Lutris. He views them not as kin, but as the root of his suffering, having been born of their experiments only to be hidden by his mother and raised in chains. He does not recognize them as family—and they, in turn, do not serve him out of fealty, but out of ambition.

The Lutris seek to reclaim Empyrean into their lineage, not for sentimental reasons, but to exploit his perfected genetic and Force traits, intending to clone or breed successors from his divine template. In truth, they serve themselves first—and their allegiance to the Sith Order is merely a strategic move to gain further access to resources, influence, and Empyrean's legacy.

Relevant Characters & Groups:
  • The Sith Order — Governing regime with which the Lutris maintain strategic ties
  • The Sepulchral — Secret architects of the Lutris bloodline (unknown to the family)
  • Drazen Lutris Drazen Lutris — Current patriarch of the House, ruling Terminus under nominal allegiance to the Empire, while plotting the reclamation of his brother's legacy

Organization Symbol:
The sigil of House Lutris features a serpent coiled into the shape of an infinity symbol, its scales glinting with alternating silver and gold to symbolize eternal ambition and genetic mastery. Above the serpent rests a crimson ruby eye set into a cracked disc of black obsidian—the weeping eye, forever shedding a single ruby tear to signify the pain and sacrifice hidden beneath perfection. Faint etchings of interwoven DNA strands form the backdrop, nearly invisible unless viewed under certain lighting—reminding all that the true legacy of House Lutris is written in flesh and blood.

The symbol is most commonly worn on dark banners, etched into silver amulets, or tattooed onto the skin of family members using inks infused with powdered crystal and ash from the family's ancestral crypts.

Description:
House Lutris is an ancient Arkanian noble family infamous for its obsessive pursuit of genetic and Force-related perfection. Publicly, they present themselves as refined Sith aristocrats—intellectuals, governors, and alchemists with a proud history of service to the Sith Order. But beneath their polished exterior lies a legacy of eugenics, ritual sorcery, and generational manipulation, all in service of crafting the ideal Sith being.

Their true purpose, cultivated over millennia, is the realization of a genetically perfect Sith'ari. The family is the product of a forgotten Sepulchral project, engineered to be a living crucible for power and potential. Unbeknownst to even most of their members, the Lutris bloodline was created not for greatness, but as a contingency—a breeding ground for alternatives to the Worm Emperor's singular vision.

Darth Empyrean, their greatest creation, was lost to them due to his mother's intervention—but now that he has ascended as Emperor, the Lutris seek to bring him back into the fold. Not out of love or loyalty, but to harness his body, blood, and legacy to manufacture more beings of his caliber.

Operating from their fortress-palaces on Terminus, the Lutris have mastered a dark art known as Necrosophy—the ability to read the memories of the dead through sigils, tattoos, and preserved body parts. Their current patriarch, Drazen Lutris, is infamous for removing his own eye and replacing it with a magical socket, which he uses to extract and view the memories of others by implanting their severed eyes into his own.

They are not loyal to the Emperor. They are loyal only to the perfection they believe they are destined to create—even if it means enslaving the legacy of the very god they birthed.

GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Headquarters
:
Domain:
House Lutris exerts control over the planet Terminus, an influential crossroads world strategically positioned within the Sith Empire. Drazen Lutris rules the world as planetary governor, having seized leadership following his brother Darth Empyrean's rise as Emperor. From their opulent fortress-palaces in Terminus's capital, the Lutris family manipulates political, economic, and social structures to their advantage, openly flaunting their immense wealth and power.

Though publicly integrated into Terminus society, hosting lavish celebrations and supporting cultural and scientific endeavors, their true relationship with the local populace is one of subtle fear and uneasy respect. Rumors persist among the people of strange disappearances linked to the family's darker experiments, fueling an atmosphere of whispered dread and wary compliance.

Despite their outward generosity, the Lutris remain isolated, maintaining strict control over their inner circle and rarely allowing outsiders close. Their Necrosophic rites, genetic experimentation, and ruthless politics ensure they are both feared and revered—visible rulers, yet untouchable and mysterious overlords.

Notable Assets:
  • The Obsidian Spire (Terminus Capital)
    • A towering black palace crafted from polished obsidian, silver, and crimson crystal, the Obsidian Spire serves as both the primary residence and seat of power for House Lutris. This imposing fortress houses laboratories for genetic experimentation, ritual chambers for Necrosophic rites, and luxurious halls for political gatherings—though few guests ever see beyond its glamorous facade.
  • The Halls of Memory (Beneath the Obsidian Spire)
    • A secret labyrinth beneath their palace, lined with ancient stone and illuminated by dim, crimson lights. Here the Lutris preserve their grisly collection of memory eyes, ritualistically marked skulls, and tattooed remains. It is within these shadowed halls that Drazen performs his darkest rites, extracting and cataloging memories from the dead.
  • The Arcanum Genetica (Terminus outskirts)
    • A vast, heavily guarded genetic research facility, hidden within Terminus's remote northern mountains. This industrial-scale laboratory houses advanced cloning tanks, alchemical gene-sculpting workshops, and archives containing millennia of biological data—all dedicated to perfecting their Sith'ari project.
  • The Serpent's Gambit (Orbital Station above Terminus)
    • An opulent, casino-like orbital facility where political intrigue flourishes amidst gambling, decadent celebrations, and clandestine meetings. House Lutris uses it both as a hub for diplomatic maneuvering and as a lucrative source of blackmail and influence over influential figures throughout the Sith Empire.
  • The Hidden Court of Arkania (Arkania)
    • Though officially exiled from Arkania for their extreme genetic practices and Sith affiliations, House Lutris maintains significant clandestine influence through a network of loyal puppets and allied cadet houses. Operating from an ancient subterranean complex disguised as a cultural academy, the Hidden Court secretly shapes Arkanian politics, scientific developments, and societal trends to further their genetic and political ambitions.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Hierarchy
:
House Lutris adheres strictly to a hierarchical structure defined by bloodline purity, genetic mastery, and occult prowess. Power flows downward from the patriarch, with loyalty enforced by both ambition and fear.
  • Patriarch (Drazen Lutris)
    • Holds absolute authority over the family, their territories, and resources. The patriarch's word is law, guided by personal ambition and the family's secretive genetic destiny.
  • High Gene-Sculptors
    • Elders and master alchemists entrusted with overseeing and advancing the family's genetic projects and Sith alchemical rituals. Highly respected, often acting as advisers to the patriarch.
  • The Inner Circle (Lutris Elders and Councilors)
    • Senior family members who manage political influence, financial resources, and clandestine operations across Terminus, Arkania, and beyond.
  • Necrosophic Adepts
    • A specialized, elite cadre trained in the family's unique necromantic rites. They preserve memories, maintain archives, and assist Drazen in memory extraction rituals.
  • Family Nobility and Cadet Houses
    • Influential relatives who govern day-to-day affairs, manage cadet branches, and ensure Lutris dominance through diplomatic intrigue and subterfuge on worlds like Arkania.
  • Agents, Informants, and Puppets
    • Non-family members or distant blood relations who extend Lutris influence subtly across the Sith Empire. Often unaware of the deeper family secrets, they serve as disposable assets.
Membership:
House Lutris consists of roughly 40 core bloodline members, with dozens more spread across cadet branches, genetically selected retainers, and puppet nobles on worlds like Arkania and Terminus. True membership in the House is fiercely guarded, bound by blood, design, or utility.

Becoming a Member:
  • By Bloodline:
    • Direct descendants or genetically approved offspring are considered full members. Even among kin, there is a rigid hierarchy based on genetic strength, Force potential, and performance in trials overseen by the High Gene-Sculptors.
  • By Selection:
    • Rarely, outsiders are inducted into the House through strategic breeding arrangements or adoption—usually Force-sensitives or prodigies chosen to refine the gene pool. These individuals must undergo extensive testing, including combat, intellect trials, and obedience under duress.
  • Marriage:
    • Marriage into House Lutris is possible but exceptionally rare. Approval from the patriarch is required, and potential spouses must submit to biological screening, memory inspection, and often gene splicing to ensure compatibility. Marriage is not seen as love—it is seen as a vector for improvement.
Initiation Rituals:
  • New members must undergo a rite known as "The Unveiling." This ritual involves the implantation of a memory sigil, granting the initiate access to fragments of ancestral knowledge and binding their consciousness into the family's collective legacy. The process is physically painful, psychologically scarring, and irreversible.
  • Those who fail the ritual are disposed of or turned into memory vessels—tattooed and hollowed to preserve knowledge even in death.
Duties and Proof of Worth:
  • Members must prove themselves through acts of cunning, power, and loyalty—whether through political manipulation, Force advancement, or contribution to the family's genetic or necrosophic pursuits.
  • Failures are rarely exiled. They are repurposed—as experimental subjects, hollowed necrosophic archives, or simply erased.
OOC Joining:
Writers interested in joining House Lutris IC should reach out via direct message or faction thread. Characters can be:
  • Blood relatives (full or estranged)
  • Cadet house members
  • Political spouses
  • Genetic creations/experiments
  • Recruited specialists (alchemists, necromancers, scientists, etc.)

Plots can range from high intrigue and family drama to body horror, sorcery, and Sith-Imperial politics. We're open to collaboration, dark character arcs, and long-form storytelling.

Climate:
The atmosphere within House Lutris is tense, ritualistic, and laced with constant competition. Every interaction is a game of positioning—polished manners masking hidden daggers. There are no idle conversations, only veiled assessments, subtle challenges, and strategic offerings.

From the outside, the House exudes elegance and brilliance: silver tongues, flowing robes, and ancient knowledge. But behind the obsidian doors of their halls lies a reality of clinical cruelty, whispered threats, and familial surveillance. Advancement is earned through achievement, manipulation, or the downfall of one's siblings.

Members are observed at all times, not just by peers, but by the sigils embedded into the walls, tracking voices, gestures, and even thoughts. Paranoia is not a flaw—it is wisdom. Trust is currency, and it is always depreciating.

Experimentation, both scientific and sorcerous, is routine. Employees and acolytes know that today's researcher may be tomorrow's subject, and even blood relatives are not exempt from "repurposing" should they falter in the pursuit of perfection.

Loyalty is manufactured. Respect is conditional. Mercy is extinct.

This is a house where you do not speak out of turn—because someone is always listening, and the walls have memories.

Reputation:
To the wider galaxy, House Lutris is a paradox—a name spoken with equal parts reverence and dread.

Among the Sith elite, they are viewed as visionaries and monsters—a family responsible for pushing the limits of what the Sith can be, but at the cost of ethics, stability, and sanity. Their success in producing Darth Empyrean is seen as both a triumph and a terrifying precedent. Some factions admire them for their ambition and contributions to the genetic future of the Sith Order; others see them as a dangerous rogue element, loyal to no one but their own ideals.

To the common citizen of Terminus, the Lutris rule like gods behind glass—visible, opulent, and utterly untouchable. Their palaces shine like temples, their parties are the stuff of legend, and their punishments are whispered warnings. Most locals adopt a careful respect, veiling their fear with civility. They are patrons of science, art, and culture—but beneath that lies a silent understanding: displease them, and you vanish.

On Arkania, the family is a ghost that still casts a shadow. Though exiled in name, they still pull strings through cadet houses and secret societies. Among Arkanian scientists and nobles, association with the Lutris brings both prestige and suspicion—a mark of genius, or a death sentence in waiting.

Those who deal with the Lutris professionally—officers, researchers, Sith Lords—often walk away changed: impressed by their brilliance, disturbed by their methods, and forever cautious of their attention.

They are not beloved.
They are not trusted.
They are respected, and that is far more dangerous.

Curios:
Members of House Lutris are marked not only by blood but by ritual and relic. Every true member of the family bears at least one Necrosophic Sigil—a magically inscribed tattoo or brand that allows access to ancestral memories, spiritual rites, or genetic archives passed down through the bloodline. These sigils are etched using enchanted inks derived from powdered bone, crystal dust, and the ashes of previous Lutris family members—binding each new generation to the last.

Other iconic items unique to the Lutris include:
  • The Eye of Legacy
    • A crimson crystal amulet shaped like a weeping eye, worn by senior members and gifted only to those who have completed the Rite of Unveiling. Each amulet contains slivers of memory from generations past—fragments of advice, warning, or commands that whisper to the bearer in times of stress or ritual.
  • Memory Rings
    • Worn primarily by Necrosophic Adepts, these rings contain micro-etched memory scripts, accessible only through Sith sorcery. The rings are often inscribed with the last thoughts of family members who died violently, used as both tools of remembrance and warnings to the living.
  • Mark of the Chosen Spine
    • The most devout or high-ranking Lutris may undergo a spine-branding rite, where small crimson crystals are embedded along the vertebrae to function as living memory conduits. These are used during high rituals to "play back" ancient memories directly through the body.

These curios are not merely tokens of status—they are functional artifacts that store knowledge, bind the soul, and mark one's place in a long chain of obsession, sacrifice, and engineered legacy.

Rules:
House Lutris follows a strict internal code, a blend of aristocratic protocol, genetic supremacism, and occult doctrine passed down through sacred text and bloodline memory. These rules are not just expectations—they are laws etched in flesh, enforced through ritual, psychological conditioning, and sometimes biological programming.

Known as the Tenets of Perfection, their core rules include:
  1. Purity Above All
    1. The bloodline must be refined, not diluted. Marriages, offspring, and even friendships are judged by genetic worth. No union occurs without purpose.
  2. Memory is Eternal
    1. The dead are never gone; they are tools, teachers, and warnings. The memories of ancestors must be preserved, accessed, and obeyed when called upon through sigils and rites.
  3. Imperfection is Potential, if Controlled
    1. Even failure may serve the bloodline—through experimentation, sacrifice, or repurposing. No weakness is tolerated unless it can be transformed.
  4. The Flesh is a Vessel, the Will is Eternal
    1. All Lutris are taught to master their bodies and reject indulgence. Cloning, augmentation, and bio-alchemy are sacred tools. The self must be perfected as one would sharpen a blade.
  5. The Chosen Must Rise
    1. The ultimate goal of the family is the creation—or reclamation—of a perfect Sith'ari. Empyrean is one such creation. More must follow. Any means are justified in this pursuit.
  6. The House is the Soul
    1. Loyalty to House Lutris supersedes all bonds. Betrayal of the family is treason against destiny itself. The punishment is memory erasure, spiritual dissection, or eternal binding as a memory wraith.
While not religious in the conventional sense, the Lutris view their work as divine in nature—a kind of heretical Sith sanctity, where the Force is something to be rewritten, shaped like genes and memories into a perfect legacy.

Goals:
House Lutris exists to perfect the Sith form, not merely through philosophy or training, but through genetic domination, ritual inheritance, and ancestral engineering. Their ultimate objective is the creation of a perfected Sith'ari strain—a lineage of force-sensitive beings so advanced they no longer need to ascend through struggle, but are born already closer to divinity.

Their major goals include:
  • Reclaiming Empyrean
    • Despite his hatred for them, the Lutris see Darth Empyrean as their greatest success—a living proof of concept. They seek to reclaim him, or at the very least, harness his bloodline and genetic legacy to produce more like him. Through cloning, selective breeding, or sorcerous replication, they intend to mass-produce perfection.
  • Expansion of Influence
    • Though rooted in Terminus, the Lutris maintain a growing network of cadet houses, puppet rulers, and subversive scientific enclaves across Sith space. They aim to place members in key positions across the Empire—governors, geneticists, Sith Lords, and even military commanders—all secretly beholden to the House.
  • Accumulation of Memory
    • Through their mastery of Necrosophy, the Lutris collect the memories of the dead—not out of reverence, but to amass intelligence, blackmail, and forbidden knowledge. Their archives grow with each conquest, each assassination, each death. No secret is safe from their eyes.
  • The Bio-Covenant (Long-Term Project)
    • A secret initiative within the family to engineer a stable force-bonded dynasty—a line of Sith who are not only powerful alone but designed to exist as a symbiotic network of shared instinct and purpose. The Bio-Covenant is to be their final masterpiece: a dynasty that functions as one mind, one will, one Empire.
  • Reinstating Their Place on Arkania
    • Though exiled, House Lutris intends to return to Arkania not as citizens—but as its hidden masters. By manipulating cadet houses, sabotaging rivals, and altering political bloodlines, they will reshape their homeworld's future from the shadows.
To outsiders, they may appear as mere nobles with a taste for science and sorcery. But in truth, House Lutris sees themselves as the future architects of Sith evolution—and they will burn bloodlines, empires, and entire star systems to see it realized.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
House Lutris traces its origins back over two millennia, to the frozen laboratories of Old Arkania, during an era when genetic elitism was not just tolerated, but revered. Originally a minor offshoot of a larger Arkanian noble family, the Lutris gained prominence not through war or wealth, but through their obsessive devotion to perfecting the sentient form—melding cutting-edge science with increasingly occult Sith practices.

The founder of the house, Valdran Lutris, was both a pioneering bioengineer and a rogue Sith alchemist. After being expelled from Arkanian scientific society for advocating the forced breeding of Force-sensitive specimens, Valdran disappeared into the wastes—only to return decades later with a new bloodline, the result of carefully orchestrated genetic rituals. He was no longer fully human, nor wholly Sith—something in-between, something crafted.

From that point on, the Lutris no longer saw blood as heritage, but as a blueprint to be rewritten. They developed a philosophy known as the Doctrine of Ascendant Blood, which stated that true Sith strength could be distilled, amplified, and eventually perfected through generational engineering, ritual memory binding, and selective alchemical evolution.

What even the earliest Lutris did not realize is that they were never alone in their ambition. Unbeknownst to them, a long-hidden sect known as the Sepulchral—a splinter ideology of ancient Sith obsessed with legacy and spiritual recursion—had identified House Lutris as a vessel for their contingency plan: to create alternate Sith'ari candidates in the event that the Worm Emperor failed or rebelled.

The Sepulchral infiltrated the family through forbidden tomes, false prophets, and blood-tainted relics, subtly guiding their evolution over centuries. Each generation became more precise, more powerful, more obsessed.

After hundreds of iterations and genetic "failures," the Lutris finally succeeded with the creation of Project Ascension-IX, the child later known as Darth Empyrean. Engineered in secret through a union of perfected genetics and Force-altered ritual, he was meant to be the Lutris' living legacy—a being who would reshape the Sith in their image.

But fate intervened.

Empyrean's mother, herself Force-sensitive, sabotaged the project. In an act of rebellion and love, she used ancient Force cloaking techniques to hide her pregnancy, escaping Terminus and vanishing into the galaxy's underworld. The child was lost.

Instead of a throne, Empyrean grew up a slave, broken and beaten—until he forged himself anew and rose to claim the mantle of Emperor. The Lutris, watching from afar, were shattered by the irony. Their greatest triumph hated them, rejected them, and refused to return.

Some within the House believed it to be divine punishment. Others saw only opportunity. Drazen Lutris, brother to the lost child, saw dominion—and began the long work of bringing Empyrean back into the fold… by any means necessary.

While the House had once ruled great laboratories and estates on Arkania, their increasingly radical practices—and open association with the Sith Order—eventually led to their formal exile. But exile is not defeat. Through cadet branches, financial bribes, and gene-locked heirs, the Lutris remain deeply entrenched in Arkanian affairs, pulling strings from afar through puppet nobles and cloned proxies.

Their return is not a question of if—but when.

Today, House Lutris resides on Terminus, ruling the world through fear, wealth, and biological superiority. They maintain powerful laboratories like the Arcanum Genetica, memory-houses like the Halls of Memory, and carry out experiments under the pretense of loyalty to the Empire. Yet they serve only one goal:
  • To reclaim Empyrean, dead or alive.
  • To reproduce his power.
  • And to ascend beyond Sith, beyond Force, beyond flesh.
Every marriage is a calculation.
Every child is a weapon.
Every corpse is a library.
And perfection is within reach.
