Eve Throndsen
Character
Location: Susevfi orbit
Susevfi, the capital of the Rimward Trade League and the heart of its trade empire. A never ending stream of freighters of all shapes and sizes made up the lifeblood of this planet. Bringing and sending goods from not just every corner of the League, but most of the galaxy. There was little that could slow down this flow of commerce, but sometimes the galaxy likes to throw port authorities a surprise or two.
One moment nothing, the next it was there. Like a massive spearhead, it cut through the dark void as it dropped out of hyperspace. A massive three thousand meter battlecruiser, a First Order Resurgent class non the less. The easily recognizable triangular shape dwarfed even the biggest freighters around it. Many of whom quickly changed course to avoid the large warship and its accompanying fleet of a frigate, a few corvettes and assorted support vessels. An unexpected arrival that was keeping a slow and steady course for the shipping lanes.
Silence filled the bridge as Captain Throndsen anxiously waited a systems report. The Crocodile's Jaw was an old vessel, albeit mostly rebuilt with modernized weapons and armor, but that didn't mean it wasn't still plagued with problems. Like for instance, during their most recent delivery they had to make an emergency exit from hyperspace. Not a fun experience, that left the croc dry docked for a few days for....costly repairs. The engineers voice cut through the silence, "All is green across the board captain." Eve let out a slow breath of relief that she didn't remember holding. The old boy had survived another jump, so at least the new parts were holding.
"Excellent, keep monitoring them any changes. Helmsman, bring us in slow and steady. Do not enter the shipping lanes just yet, let them hail us first. On the off chance that they don't right away, then bring us to stop six vessel lengths away." Honestly, she expected a quick response, it's not every day a small First Order fleet with a battlecruiser showed up at your door. Even if the First Order wasn't around for the most part anymore, they had left a mark. The real problem was what kind of response they would receive. A long period of silence, however, could make both sides uneasy....
