Taeli jumped onto the transport ship that would be taking the prisoners she had taken back to the main Sith holding facilities. Many of the Asherians were staring out into the distant, shock that their gods hadn't protected them from the Sith invasion pulsing from each and everyone.
"See what happens when you place your faith in such gods?" Taeli said, moving through the bound prisoners, soldiers watching every move. "Your world has fallen, the dark side now reigns supreme here. Those of your kind that saw the light so to speak are now helping us replace your broken religion. For some grand cultural center, you lot are all very pragmatic once the writing is on the wall."
One Asherian warrior got to his feet, blocking her path. The sound of stun rifles charging filled the air, but Taeli held a hand up to prevent the troops from firing.
"You Sith have destroyed this world," the warrior snarled, spitting at her feet. "Ashera will remain proud within our hearts, those of us who fought against you and will fight against you for the remainder of our days."
"Such noble words, but look around you my friend," Taeli said, spreading her arms wide. None of the other Asherians had risen to join their fellow, even the other warriors had stayed where they were, recognizing that something the Sith said made sense. Their gods hadn't protected them, and these Sith had proven they were stronger than any they had worshipped before.
"No! We must fight them, we must retake our home even if it takes. . ." he implored the others, but they all started to turn their heads away, ignoring the warrior.
Taeli flicked her hand and the troops lowered their weapons. Moving up to whisper in the warrior's ear, she muttered, "I can't wait to see what sort fo experiment my master has in store for one with such fire and drive to fight within them."
She moved on, gesturing with her head for the soldiers to force the warrior back to the ground.
