The Path of Revenge

[member="Asharad Graush"] question was only answered by a small, cruel grin. Yes he would return to the shadows, and the man would follow him only that he would be a rotten corpse by then. He could feel the onset of the madness that sometimes took over his mind, the point where his mind would lose any order and he would only be driven by all devouring hate, his deepest thoughts sucked into this Abyss.

He could feel the pull on his body, the grab of the darkness that was commanded by the other sith. Instead of resting, the sith knight allowed to be drawn towards the other man, stumbling forwards at him. In his movement he once again raised the knife above his head, and then swing the weapon forwards, giving it the momentum for a precise and powerful throw of the small metal object at his opponent.

The Sith Hybrid hadn't expected a knife to be thrown at him.

His initial reaction was to raise his right arm as he slashed at the Sith Knight that was just about coming into range of the tip of his golden lightsabre. A horizontal slash right across his midsection in the hopes of cutting him open.

But other than that, the knife ripped right into his right hand, through the palm and was sticking out the other side. He didn't flinch, he merely continued with the aforementioned action, not yet feeling the effects of the poison as he pressed forward. With the force pull, he'd have to be unbalanced.

He could feel the pain, but he was trained to forget the pain. He hadn't felt pain in a long time, it was a surprise, but he ignored it nonetheless. He had anticipated the pain, he used the pain.

Checkmate. The poison was in the blood if his enemy now, the only factor was time. Someone filled with hate and darkness probably could resist the power of the toxic substance for some time, but every minute would exhaust his opponents body more and more, as any of his cell would begin to keep his body away from death. The thing that would make the decision between victory and defeat would be his defense against the attacks of the other sith that now would be driven by the rage of pure survival. There was no room for mistakes now.

In the last second of his stumble Darth Abyss managed to bring his saber between himself and the plasma blade that was coming at him. The impact of the blade was stronger than he had predicted, and without the strength of both his hands his own weapon was repealed at himself, burning a bright wound in his right shoulder.

Was it too early to recognize that he had been poisoned? Surely it was, but he was trained to be assassin. Utilizing poisons was something that he had been taught, he had also been made aware as to how to protect himself from them. Soon, the worry would come, but understanding would dawn on him.

A wound was burned into his opponent's shoulder.

A'sharad rolled his shoulders back as his right hand twitched around the blade of the knife that was protruding from his palm.

His left hand manipulated the Force as he pulled it out of his grasp and had it orbit around his person, his blood coating the blade, dripping over the hilt and off of the tip of its blade. The High Colonel was a duelist, but what few people failed to realize was his proficiency at utilizing telekinesis. Of course many utilized the ability, few specialized in it. Of course he was only an Apprentice with the understanding of many other abilities, the knife was still a dangerous weapon in his hands as a telekinetic.

They called it ballistakinesis.

He would've palmed the knife in his hand, but instead he launched it straight for the abdomen of [member="Darth Abyss"]. It was like a shell being launched from a tank. It burned through the air for his opponent with the explosion of the Force behind it.

Ballistakinesis? Darth Abyss was rather surprised that his adversary was skilled in a obscure force ability that had been created by the Jesaarai. Sure it was common for the majority of force users to be able to throw around stuff with nothing more than the a thought, but this techniques was far more advanced than normal telekinesis. Only once he had witnessed someone who actually mastered it, a knight of the Jensaarai that like himself had been drawn to an old sith grave.

All his knowledge couldn't save him, on a small range like this it would be almost impossible to not at least be cut by the weapon. Only if ... sometime trading one disadvantage against another was the still the best option.

Banging on the floor was far more painful than he had expected. He could feel nausea as the knife passed above his head. It would be rather hard to find a position that would comprise his performance more.

A'sharad would've finished the job when [member="Darth Abyss"] had dropped to the ground, but he had realized something was up.

He lunged backwards away from the Sith as he looked down to his right hand. He felt a tingling spreading up his arm, the origins being the hole in his hand. He grunted. What was this? Some Sith Magic? He growled lowly. It didn't make sense.

And then his old lessons dawned on him.

Poison.

He sought out the poison in his system.

His limbs were weighing heavier than they should've. Sure his heart was thumping, adrenaline rushing through him, but it was nothing that should've been capable of draining him of his energy so quickly.

The Force was a powerful tool. One he had been using practically since birth.

All he needed to do was eject the poison...

Got it.

He had hoped that the poison would buy him time, but he had very well considered the possibility that his opponent would have been able to attack him in this position. He still felt slightly light headed as he rose to his feet once more, only slowly gaining his focus back.

Many sith could resist or even clean out poison, so the hit hadn't been a death sentence for his adversary. At least not yet. Cleansing the body of a toxic was no different to any other force ability, requiring focus and strength to perform. His enemy had to decide what would be the greater thread to his body, the poison or the sith knight himself.

His lightsaber ignited once more Darth Abyss stood, figuring out the best way of using the distance between the two warriors. In one fluid motion the slugthrower was drawn, a single bullet released onto the mans chest. He would keep the man on his feet, draining his body and mind as long as possible.

The opposing Sith Knight drew out a slughthrower, A'sharad expected him to employ a cheap tactic, something he wouldn't expect. Yet, he did expect it, perhaps not a slugthrower, perhaps a blaster, but still, his reaction would've been the same. A nudge of the Force to push the barrel off from aiming at him and over his shoulder.

Too slow, the bullet tore a hole through his jacket and scraped against his side, but that was it.

The poison was ejected from his body. Nothing left him physically, it was as if the Force had located the affected parts of his body, and then just... Deleted them, but still, he shook his wounded hand as he looked over to the Sith.

"Enjoying yourself?"

"I actually do, Thanks for asking."

This level of sarcasm and mocking was almost unlike Abyss, a man that normally had a tendency to be rather serious, and when using words to archive dun möch, he chose words aimed more at his enemies psyche than at his ego. But after all, his opponent had shown to be unimpressed, and it wasn't very sith to stay stagnant instead of evolving and testing other ways to beat an adversary.

The blade of his lightsaber disappeared back into its hilt, that rested in Abyss hands. He made no attempt to store either the slugthrower or the hilt, instead aiming his left for another shot at the man, while extending the finger tips of his right as much as possible while still keeping the metal device confined in it. Another bullet was sended at the man, followed by short burst of lightning released from his right.
