The Pirates code of honor!

Location: Tortuga
Objective: Assemble the crew of doom!

Tortuga. A stinking foul scumhole of the galaxy. Tortuga had been built long long ago, by an unknown pirate of old. He had called himself the pirate king, of course nobody knew why. Back in those days pirates were plentiful and roamed the galaxy. Notable pirates were Iron wolf and RC 212. There were some others of course but the rivalry between these two crews was legendary.

In the later years Tortuga had served as a refuge and hideout, where crews went to fill their bellys with liqour, their faces with food and their beds with women and men of all walks of life. Nowadays business still boomed but piracy was little and few crews operated.

Tortuga was a massive space station, cosntructed of scuttled ships and lost debris. A lonely but dangerous place just outside of Nal Hutta.

When Soulfire had come riding in with his captured Xo'xann SD, boasting of his tales of Capturing it from the sith many had flocked to his side. Some called themselves friends other his crew. He had put word out far and wide that he was seeking to establish a crew of fearsome and most of all smart warriors.

At his favourite bar, the Drunken Freighter, he waited, hoping some would answer that call....

Jack Arrived at the bar her black hair was cut short and her long black and white duster flowed behind her. Her red colored eyes scanned the room before she made her way to [member="Soulfire Ticon"] " I here ya looken a crew" She said as she fixed the golden goggles on her head.

Tortuga. The worst of the worst.

Athena hadn't really planned to be here; in fact, she hadn't planned to be anywhere near this sector. Her dreams involved much, much bigger tastes: fancy houses, expensive speeders, pools within pools... Granted, it didn't have to be hers, persay, but the Twi'lek had always wanted to cook for someone fancy.

This dream wasn't some sort of deep-down desire to be a slave; far from it. Considering the culture she grew up in, Athena hated slavery. No, she just wanted to see the galaxy and do what she loved most -- preparing foods designed to please the palate of even the pickiest eater.

Alas, that had yet to come. So far the Twi'lek had hopped from job to job, but there was always something wrong with it: too dirty, too poor, too boring, she wasn't allowed to actually cook, people treated her like a slave, so on and so forth.

It had been at her last job, working as a waitress in some sleazy cafe, that Athena had come across an ad looking for a personal crew. And, lo and behold, one of the crew members needed was a cook! Eager to get away from her dead-end job, Athena had turned in her stupid uniform, gathered the valuables that meant to most, and set off for another new life.

Which, incidentally enough, happened to be in a bar. Woopiee.

Walking in, Athena noticed a rather piratey-looking man, along with a human(?) female. He must be the employer, she thought. Adjusting the bag on her shoulder, the Twi'lek headed towards him, tapping his shoulder. "You be pirate?" Athena asked. "I be cook. Look for job."

"Indeed I am sit with me let us talk."

Soulfire motioned to the seat and shoved an ale her way. He smiled curtly from beneath his white robe and nodded to her. He was clad in white robes, a bantha leather set of armor, and six pistols affixed to his frame. At his side hung a vibrosword, and a lightsaber. He wore boots of bantha leather as well, though it was not a flashy existence all the pieces worked together.

"Now tell me ladies, are you looking for riches? Are you willing to kill for them and stand at your brothers and sister back till the end?"

[member="Soulfire Ticon"]

Jack sat down and picked up the drink taking a long drink " The names Jacky.. but everyone calls me Jack" she said licking her lips before taking another sip of the Ale. " thats been my life for the past 7 years. " she said

[member="Jack Starfall"]

"Excellent, then how do you folks feel about drafting a pirate code of honor? To solidify our crews morale and set the rules for all our brethren."

Soulfire drank eep and smashed the mugg down on the table.

"So what say you?"

[member="Soulfire Ticon"]

" sounds like a good idea to me" she said gulping down the rest of her drink, and glanced at [member="Athena"] with her red colored eyes.

[member="Soulfire Ticon"] [member="Jack Starfall"]

Athena shrugged her shoulders as she sat down on the seat. "Don't care 'bout riches," she said. "Just like cooking. Dream to be cook."

The Twi'lek looked around the establishment before returning her gaze to the two. "Little money good. Not too much. But just want cook."

[member="Jack Starfall"] [member="Athena"]

"Ok my first rule, no pirate of a single crew shall steal from other pirates within their crew."

Soulfire eyed the two. One was a curious woman, human and had the look of a fine swordsman. The other was a twi'lek and she seemed to be a cook, or at least he guessed from her attire and talk.

"Add with me, what else have you?"

" everyone should pull their weight or not eat?" Jack asked " thats how it is on the streets. You don't eat if you don't work for it" she said

Athena blinked her green eyes at the man. Really? Why would she steal? All she wants to do is cook, for kriff's sake.

"Won't take stuff," she assured him. "Just my stuff "

The Twi'lek thought for a moment about his question. "Have my things. Not much, all here," she said, patting her bag. "Speak good Huttese, good Ryl. But mostly cook."

She blinked at the other woman's answer, realizing the man wanted rules. "My rules: Only cook in kitchen. Don't touch stuff. Don't bother me when cooking." Athena shrugged. "That it."

Asteria had no idea why she had agreed to come to this meeting, this man was a stranger, but he knew RC, so she would go to the meeting anyway. She walked into the bar and immediately camoflagued so that none of the barflies would get any ideas about the redheaded assassin.

Asteria walked up to the table and listened to the conversation for a while, then uncamoflagued and answered the man's question with her own set of rules, "If you see me acting strange, it's normal, I sneak up behind you, expect it, leave me alone, especially after a battle or if someone's died, or just in general, don't ask me questions, and never ask me to fly something unless it's my own ship. I'm not a pirate, I'm an assassin, I don't steal unless it benefits me or those around me and I usually only come to one of these places if your going to ask me to kill someone. Why am I here?" She folded her arms in front of her and waited for an answer, her green eyes probing everyone at the table.

Letting out a surprised squawk, Athena nearly fell out of her seat when the new woman appeared. She then continued to rattle off a big speech r something, during which time the Twi'lek was utterly lost.

At the woman's question, the only reply Athena could give was: "To cook." The sudden appearance and subsequent block of Basic given had rattled her, though she was quickly recovering. "No, wait, I cook. You....kill?"

The Twi'lek was clearly frightened, but Asteria paid no attention and answered the question in a little rusty Ryl, "Yes, I'm an assassin and a mercenary. Do I need to repeat my rules in your language, Twi'lek?"

((Lol looks like your crew's mostly women, Soulfire :p ))

Athena was surprised when the woman spoke Ryl to her. Most beings preferred to keep it Basic. Heh, she made a joke.

Nodding her head, she replied, "Ka, narsu." This way, if the woman had said anything that would pertain to the kitchen, Athena could dispute it, if necessary.

Brushing one of her lekku over her shoulder, the Twi'lek shifted in her seat and waited for an easier version of the woman's rules.

" ok if we're going to be working together i suggest you two settle what ever hatred you might have for each other.. No way am i going to put up with two arguing members" Jack said crossing her arms " Or at least keep your words of hate to yourselves" she added

"Leave me alone, don't ask questions, and I don't steal." She then switched back to Basic and turned to the new man that had just come up, and the other human, "I'm not arguing, I'm relating how not to get killed around me, and you just broke rule 2, don't ask questions." She turned back to the leader, "Sir I came because I thought you were hiring me to kill someone, not become a pirate. I have a good life on the Libertalia, and I sort of want to keep my reputation there as just an insane assassin and mercenary, not an insane pirate assassin mercenary. So, do you want me to kill someone, or should I just leave?"
Edit: Asteria's insanity was on the verge of breaking out and she took a deep breath, suppressing the violent, murderous thoughts trying to take over her very fragile mind.

Athena nodded again. She could handle those rules. She then looked at the newcomer and the other woman. "Not arguing," the Twi'lek said, confused. "She tell me her rules again. Nothing wrong."

She did hope, though, that the pirate captain hired her. Not to brag, but, Athena really didn't have any faith in the others to cook more than a simplistic meal.

"Enough of this. As captain here is my decrees, One crew shall not harm or steal from one another,

two crew may not kill each-other except in a duel.

Three disagreements will be settled with a duel, ranging from fistfight to weapons based on what the crew members want to see.

Four my word is law.

Five every crew-member shall be paid their dues monthly and a commission upon each raid completed.

Six do not be afraid to kill, before the end we will kill many foes and strike many governments. Do you accept?"
