OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

"And in the time of tribulation to come, there will be four...either for darkness...or light. Their actions will echo across the stars...and between them...either all that has been built will fall, or balance will be restored."
--
Romi Jade

GENERAL INFORMATION

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Author: Jedi Master Romi Jade
  • Publisher: Self
  • Reception: These are thoughts, observations, experiences, and lessons that Romi has learned over time. She decided to document in great detail a vision she'd had, in which she believes to be a future prophecy with the intention of leaving it behind for others to consume. It's a piece of a larger book she is writing. It's not widely known or available anywhere else for there to be tons of reception. Beyond the pages she authored and spare memory crystal she keeps, this is flying under the radar.

FORMAT INFORMATION
To be included in a larger book Romi is authoring, this reads from left to right on two pages. Handwritten notes and marks that outline her experiences and her reflections on them. The information contained in the crystal could only be accessed when placed in a holocron which, in turn, could only be opened with the Force. Once opened, the three-dimensional appearance and cognitive networks of Master Jade, that could sense the ability and level of a Jedi, would appear to begin explaining Battle Meditation and related techniques.

CONTENT INFORMATION

The Prophecy of the Four was a prophecy made through a Force vision by Jedi Master Romi Jade. In it, she predicted that the next conflict with the dark side of the Force would have four key players, ambiguously described by their allegiance, and attached to the lingering influence of Darth Solipsis Darth Solipsis in some way, that were going to lose or use whatever thing was built between them.

These pages are detailed with an excerpt from the Prophecy of the Four:

And so it shall come to pass—the Dark One shall stretch forth his hand once more, even from beyond, his shadow shall spread across the stars.

Grief shall consume the hearts of women, and the strength of men shall ebb like a receding tide. The nations of the galaxy will fray, unraveling like rotted cloth. Nothing shall stand. Nothing shall endure…

The shadow will rise, creeping into even the smallest corners of existence. And those marked by prophecy shall reach for it—whether to master or to unmake.

Four forces shall emerge… guardians or perils.
Embodiments of ignorance, hunger, wrath, and pride…

And in the hour of reckoning, their deeds shall ripple through the cosmos. The fate of the galaxy shall hang in the balance, caught between agony and redemption…

Yet four shall come forth to command or to end the darkness. Born once, as they have been before. And so shall they be born again, time and time without end… for the scales of balance are never still.

The Four shall rise anew.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Romi Jade has always been somewhat of an anomaly when it came to the Jedi Path, and the Force. She went on to open her own Enclave on Jakku and she moved to be Headmaster of the Ossus Jedi Praxeum for a time. The later parts of her career relied much on the methodology to provide students with what she believed they needed to start and maintain a Jedi career with longevity in a Galaxy engulfed in constant war.

Much of that saw her start to document experiences, observations, theories, and ideas along the way. Written form was the primary choice, hoping that later these notes could be read and recorded into her own personal Holocron one day. She started to author this book when the Jakku Enclave officially opened, and had been adding additional pages since. These pages -- in no particular order -- were a mixture of recollections, commentary on the state of the Galaxy then, and details on new functions and abilities that she'd come to discover in the Force.

This book then became known as Jade's Anthology.

Around the early 870s ABY, Romi temporarily retired from active Jedi service to raise her child and tend to her family, during this break she experienced a psychically painful and extremely vivid Force vision that would birth the Prophecy of the Four.

I‘m pulling this report for review. It was noted that the prophecy portion is very close to text written in Wheel of Time. After looking into this I feel it is a valid concern.

And it shall come to pass, the Dark One shall once more lay his hand upon the galaxy through his shadow.

Women shall weep and the tides of men will run out as the nations across the stars become much like rotting cloth.

Wheel of Time:

The Shadow shall rise across the world, and darken every land, even to the smallest corner, and there shall be neither Light nor safety.

Wheel of Time:

Women shall weep and men quail as the nations of the earth are rent like rotting cloth.

And those born, according to Prophecy, shall stretch their hands forth to catch this shadow...

Wheel of Time:

And he who shall be born of the Dawn born of the Maiden, according to Prophecy, he shall stretch forth his hands to catch the Shadow…

and between them the galaxy shall scream in pain or breath in salvation...

Wheel of Time:

and the world shall scream in the pain of salvation.

Yet four shall be born to harness or destroy the shadow.
Born once, as they were born before.
And shall be born again, time without end...as balance forever tips.
The Four shall be reborn.

Wheel of Time:

Yet one shall be born to face the Shadow,
born once more as he was born before,
and shall be born again, time without end.

These highlighted sections which I have offered in comparison side by side are the primary concern.

While I feel this was heavily inspired by the source material, I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt that it was not your intent to copy these lines as close as possible. I am going to ask that you reword this prophecy portion in your own words, and avoid the direct language of your source inspiration as you do.

Go ahead and tag me when you’re done. As always if you have any questions you may reach out here and tag myself or Srina Talon Srina Talon .
