The Raxis Expeditions #1: The Plight of Daley Jones

"I guess that is true, it could have been worse." Spencer replied. He wasn't completely confident with what he said, he felt as if he partially failed letting something control his decisions and actions and Spencer was not happy with that. As Master Ike placed the items she had collected on the table Spencer lifted his head looking at the items she returned with. It was an interesting collection especially the bracelet, she seemed quite intent on that one rather than the others. "It definitely does look nice, but is it making a noise? I can hear something, its really quiet but just enough to hear." Spencer replied listening to the humming noise wondering where it was coming from.

"I have found many artifacts, but most don't hum when they are held." She set it aside and made both a mental note and physical one taking out a ledger from a drawer with the force. Marking down what the artifact was, how it was found and its weight as she continued to work on the other things. A second book was there with details on different items and artifacts recorded from other jedi while she spoke. "This is the other half of exploring, being willing to do records and paperwork. I was lucky to have found this ledger in the archives long ago ignored and dusty, it at least has more information then the archives will reveal openly on some of the artifacts."

"Ahh that is quite interesting." Spencer replied as he sat and watched Master Ike make a note about the artifact. It all seemed like fun and games until someone had to write up a report. He sat their patiently watching Master Ike do her thing as he winded down after the experiences he had encountered. "There is always good and bads about everything. Get to search the galaxy finding cool stuff, then you have to come home and write it up, logging everything about it." Spencer replied as his armed moved around helping explain his words. "Some of the best things are ignored for ages until someone finds out what is special about it... You've certainly done that Master." He replied with a smile.

She looked up with a grin from the book. "Yes all fun until the reports, wait until you have a padawan and have to do reports on their actions for missions." She said it but going through the book as she finished writing her fingers danced a little finding a page and she touched the charms with her fingers pressing the sides of it until there was a click. The image of a woman appeared wearing the robes from Almas academy. "THis is a long way from home, there was something." She moved through the pages until she got some of the things up. "Cularin and Almas made small holocrons and kept them in statues to smuggle them off world."

Laughing with Master Ike's response as she continued her work. Spencer sat patiently watching her continue, fascinated still by the items she had found. As that page was done and dusted she moved the pages over a few until she found a certain page. Clicking in the side of the charm a small hologram appeared. "Wow, thats cool." The young Padawan said looking at the hologram in front of them. Listening to Master Ike's explanation it seemed like a rare find. "That is a pretty smart idea, hide them in plain sight. All well and good until people learn how it works. Although by the looks of it, this one hasn't been found until now." He replied continuing to watch the female on the hologram.

"Exactly though a lot of things were lost from the jedi long ago so this has been rediscovered." She had a grin on her face though while she continued to look in the book. "We'll be able to get more information when we're back safely on Cazador, my lab there is better for recording and getting holocrons to work. You should go and rest we have a decently long trip back."

As the hologram disappeared as she moved further through the book. The book was full of interesting information and useful facts, but would have to be gone through in more detail back at the lab. "Alright Master sounds good, its been a long trip already. I'll rest up and be ready for when we get back to Cazador." Spencer replied as he got up and left the room, finding a vacant bedroom a few doors down. He decided he would mediate for a little before nodding off, just to get a grip on the day that had passed.
