The lightning subsided, and Vornskr quickly dispelled his shield to stand among the tattered ruins of the museum that was left in the wake of their devastation, in the wake of their powers they left almost nothing standing. He clipped his lightsaber back to his belt, and with a wave of his hand his Sith Sword burst from the ground and flew into his outstretched hand. He spun it around once, before sliding the blade into its protective sheath that was strapped across his back. He patted himself down, sending the dust that had accumulated on his body and armor flying off with each pat or brush of his armored hands, before he stood tall before Merrill and attempted to fight down the emerging sensation of pity that threatened to bubble up.

"Love destroys us all, Merrill. It is better off to be feared, than to be loved."

Despite his words, Vornskr had a loving wife back at home on Panatha, and despite all of his prior experience with love he had found himself caring for her deeply. It was strange, but he knew that unlike a certain Lethan Twi'lek, his beloved Energy Vampire would never betray him. But, he quickly moved away from the topic as he approached the Nightsister, and looked out through a gaping wound in the side of the structure to see a very familiar leviathan broke out of a Mandalorian ship, and begin to inflict untold amounts of havoc and terror upon the city.

"I always wondered where you took him, and it looks like I've finally found out. I will be serious in saying that I now ask of your aid in quelling this beast's rampage, before he kills more civilians who were taking refuge from your people's attack." Vornskr didn't really care all that much about the civilian population, but it would not do well for the Sith to let a monster run amok unchecked and unrestrained across one of their holdings.

[member="Darth Vornskr"]

"Far be it from me to stop his rampage for his master's death."

It was, all things considered, not far off from the epitaph she meant to give Skirata. But that was for another day and another target. The city covered half a world; there was nowhere for the civilians to evacuate.

"[SIZE=14.4444446563721px]I made him - [member="Dralshy'a"], he's called. But you know I made him. [/SIZE]Don't take me for merciful, Kaine. I'm like you and Val'Ryss -- and I remember Togoria.

"If I do this, it's for gain, and for business. If I do this, he's mine. Do you have authority to grant me that, to guarantee it?"

Objective: Kill
(Feel free to chase us)

Mierins head suddenly jerked to the right as falling rubble began to permeate the street before them. A loud piercing roar thundered throughout the streets, echoing and rushing through the entire city in a matter of seconds. Her eyes bulged suddenly, and her senses in the force extended far.

She sensed something, death, destruction, a mind of pure aggression and rage.

Her eyes flickered over to Carach, looking to him to see if he had noticed it as well. The man looked at her, confirming her suspicions with a nod. Mierin looked towards the street where the rubble was still falling down on [member="Navio"], [member="Neskar A'toll"], and @Azreal. She knew they would likely chase them, she knew that they would try to fight, but whatever this mind was, whatever lurked now within the streets of Cinnagar, it was more important.

As a massive dust cloud sprang up from the falling building, Mierin knew exactly what the two of them had to do. Vision quickly becoming obscured from the falling rubble and the dust it threw into the air, Mierin began to act.

Her muscles flexed, the force running through her, giving one last look at Carach.

Then she bolted. The shield around the two of them dropped in an instant, and the Sith Lord ran. She was not as fast as some, no Shara or Moridin, but force speed was a gift that most Sith Lords held, and as she began to run the world around her blurred slightly.

As fast as possible the two Sith made their way towards the beast.

Objective: Not sure yet

It wasn’t really hard to disconcern that something was very, very wrong. First of all the ground shook like a fether, when the Lizard landed, after that it started to growl like a sonic cannon…. you don’t miss stuff like that.

At some level it was pretty ironic what the Mandalorians were doing now, all levels of moral high ground were pretty much thrown out of the window, throwing a gigantic lizard on top of a City filled with people… that ain’t how you gain sympathy or achieve any moral high ground.

Then again, they probably didn’t care about bad PR and all that, more concerned with avenging their Mandalore or whatever.

Was all the same to Carach really, they needed to stop that thing, only thing that mattered now. Oh… not because of the civilians… come on. Think of the infrastructure and how much credits they would have to spent to repair all that poodoo.

They ran, ran, ran and eventually reached a nearby roof. which had a good vantage point over the thing.

‘ Hmm.. how much power do you have left? ‘

"You know that I respect you, Merrill. You have done much for me in the last few years, and for that I am eternally grateful, but this I cannot allow." He tore his gaze away from the beast to look back at Rave with a glare that was a mixture of disappointment and anger. "Should this beast be subdued, it will be our property. It is time this creature returned back into the hands of Sith, for it is a Sith-spawn, and it should know no other home but in the care of Sith, and I was a fool to relinquish it so eagerly to you in the first place. My greed got the better of me that day, Merrill, but not on this day. Today, I work for the cause of the Sith, and we will obtain that beast... or no one will." He turned away to look back at the beast in the distance, and could faintly feel the presences of [member="Darth Mierin"] and [member="Darth Carach"] moving towards the gargantuan behemoth.

"If I were you, I would leave this world."

As Betna's starfighter arced up and over the enemy ship, turbolaser fire rained down all around, missing his craft by dozens of meters. Mistaking the incoming fire for friendly support, he watched as the turbolasers impacted on the worm below. At first, it seemed to have little effect. At least, until one shot slammed into the weakened area on the worm's head. Blood and ichor sprayed high into the air as the starship-grade weapon literally blew the Chrom Vrone's brains out of it's head. The worm collapsed in on itself, the plasma spewing forth from it's body ceasing and cooling as the great beast's body spasmed and went limp.

At that point, Betna glanced up to see what had killed the great creature. What he saw shocked him and, quite honestly, entertained him immensely. A one hundred meter corvette had dropped in and opened fire. What he had thought was support fire wasn't the case. It was a One Sith ship... missing with every shot. It had apparently tried targeting the Mando starfighters with capital ship weapons, a massive mistake.

"Angel Two, new target and it looks like it helped us out a lot," Betna called to Anija with a wide grin. "We've go bigger fish to fry. Let's try looping around that Corvette and hosing its engines. A few passes of that and it should drop out of the sky. Then we can come back and finish off anything else around."

Olivia's blood ran cold. Mand'alor Skirata had been slain by Ordo the Betrayer. The Dar'manda's voice echoed through her tank as he proclaimed himself sole ruler of Manda'yaim. She could feel the despair and heartache ripple through her crew as they processed the information. Their Mand'alor was dead. And the enemy they had come here to destroy had claimed the title. A Sith had claimed the title of Mand'alor.

<The hell he has.> Olivia thought to herself before flipping through targeting data. "All tanks. Cancel previous orders and triangulate the source of that transmission." Olivia called out through her communicator to each of her squadrons. She was already working on the targeting data herself. The signal had originated from somewhere three miles into the city. She pulled up the time logs on the incoming transmissions each vehicle received and used the minute time delay between each vehicle to triangulate the broadcast location. It was coming from one of the skyscrapers. Not quite from the top of the skyscraper, but close enough.

"All tanks, bring guns to bare on new target." Olivia said, punching in the targeting data and sending it to each of the tanks in her platoon. She felt the turret of her own tank turn to bare on the new target, the gun momentarily silent as it disengaged the enemy assault walkers and traversed to stare down its new target. [member="Ordo"] the Betrayer.

Flipping her vehicle's communicator to the same frequency that Ordo's voice had come from, Olivia gave the only response she could think of. "A Sith will not be Mand'alor. Not today, nor any day that follows." Her voice was cold and detached. Returning to her company-level frequency, she spat out her orders with distain and resolve. "Fire."

Nine double-explosions echoed across the field as Olivia's 18 gun salute erupted from her nine Canderous-class Assault Tanks and tore through the upper levels of the outlining skyscrapers in their quest to silence Ordo the Betrayer. Some would call it ironic. The tank's were named after Canderous Ordo, Mand'alor the Preserver. The ancient ancestor of the Ordo clan must surely be ashamed of his legacy for such an assault to be aimed at one man.

Anija swore softly, sending a few more heavy laser bolts after the crazy looking fighter before she noticed the new blip on her scanners. She also noticed that the chrom vrone quickly became a pile of nothing more than muscle tissues, spreading pools of ichor, and cooling plasma. For that at least, she was thankful. Though she wasn't sure if that was what the new arrival had intended. Yanking on the flight controls, Anija rolled her bes'uliik up on it's side and then into a tight loop as she came around to face the new threat.

Her eyes narrowed, but she was grinning behind her visor, and she heard ANNE whispered a snide comment over her buy'ce's internal audio system. "Well, at least they did some of the work for us..." Flexing her fingers on the controls, Anija replied over their secure comm. "Copy that. Let's bring the rain..." Suiting word to action, she used her HUD to prime her weapons again. She even went so far as to have ANNE prime one of the bombs, though she knew the chances of it being useful against that thing were nil. Maybe she could use it against the Sith Forces on the ground.

ANNE had helpfully displayed a map with the locations of each Mandalorian marked by their transponders. They were mixed in and looking a bit overrun by the swarms of red dots which represented the Sith Forces. Gritting her teeth, she swung her bes'ullik around in a wide loop as she brought her laser cannons to bear on the corvette. After a second or two to study the situation, she opened up with her heavy laser cannons, spraying bolts of light towards the other ship. Bolts splashed against the shield of the other vessel, creating bright spots for a moment before she broke off and looped down and under the corvette to pour fire into it's ventral hull and engine housing.

Oh for the love of...the Mandolorian dissappeared, poof, gone, vanished. This trend was beginning to agitate the assassin tremendously. But something far more important caught his attention, someone rather important was in trouble, Nephthys, a voice. A voice could not fall. Scrambling towards a speeder bike, whose occupant was conveniently dead just like the oddly convenient vehicle placement, but hey, a way of transportation that didn't involve running was welcome news.

Zooming through rubble Vindica kept his mind focused on his ally in distress. As Basaba came into view he leapt off the bike and into the air, launching a blast of force energy at the Mandolorian warrior in the form of a force push. Landing with a thud Vindica's yellowing eyes narrowed at Basaba preadatorily as he ignited his lightsaber once more, the crimson blade surging out and humming hungrily. "Go." He urged Nepthys, Vindica was more than capable of finishing things up. Spinning the saber Vindica assumed a combat stance, sinking his knees and preparing.

Objective: Control

“Enough.” Mierin said peering towards the other Sith Lord.

She could see the leviathan now lumbering towards them, she watched as the creature moved and lumbered through the city streets. It killed and rampaged, slaughtered and destroyed everything in its path. The Sith Pureblood had seen such creatures before, or something very much like them. She wondered for a moment, trying to remember the leviathans of the ancient Sith.

“Your thoughts?” She asked solemnly as the Leviathan rampaged through the city streets. “I doubt killing it will be a simple task.”

Leviathans were notoriously different to destroy, their hide was resistant to lightsabers, they could drain the life from the living, and their gaping maws could swallow entire tank divisions. It wouldn't be a simple task to bring the creature down, but then, that was hardly their only option.

Objective: Chaos Requires An Essence Of Control

Sometimes a man needed to be bold in his actions, even when it was approaching stupidity, this thing was huge; hell it was more than huge. It was on a scale which skewed all… scales, yeah capital ships are bigger, but this thing…. it’s alive.

Vong ships don’t count. Why? Because, that’s why.

At any rate, Carach was going to try something bold this time, he was no Rave Merrill, Mother of Monsters. But he was his own man and while he couldn’t throw around skyscrapers… the Sith Lord had his own skillset.

‘We will try and assume direct control… failing that forcing it to sleep is a solid second option. Hmm… I suppose we can always turbolaser it to death if everything else fails.’

The Sith Lord kept studying the magnificence of the beast, his head slightly tilted as he posed his companion the question, in the form of a statement.

‘I will need your power to augment mine.’

Vornskr watched as Rave disappeared in a whirl of green and black, and smirked to himself as he then departed the ruined museum by leaping through one of the crumbling openings in the wall. Landing in the broken, desolate, and eerily empty street, Vornskr sprinted down the road with the power of the Force behind his movements. Everything around him became a gray blur as he navigated the twisted and torn city with his other senses, alerting the speeding Sith Lord to various obstacles that lay directly in his path. Occasionally he would come across a gunfight in the streets between Imperial Force and the Mandalorians, but he would leave them where they be unless one of the Mandalorians decided to get uppity and take a shot at him.

Then he'd put said Mandalorian in the ground.

Vornskr lunged, wincing slightly as the movement agitated the wounds on his leg and arm, and clung to the side of a nearby building before scaling its battle-marred surface. Using spaces that had been blown open or away as handholds, Vornskr climbed all the way to the tippy-top of the building and hauled himself up. He came face to face with two of his Sith brethren, specifically the Sith Mother Mierin, and the alter ego of the eccentric Jared Ovmar, Darth Carach. After brushing himself off, Vornskr walked over to join the two Sith Lords as they faced the oncoming rage of the beast.

"And you will have my power as well."

Vilaz had seen the movements of the Sith knight and his reflexes gave made him react. The warrior turned to towards the Sith and duck to try dodge the attack, but he couldn't avoid it. The elbow impacted on the helm of the Mandalorian and sent him flying backwards a couple feet in the air, but the elbow of the Sith would also be damaged as it hit the Beskar that was surrounding the helmet if Vilaz. The Bounty Hunter got up, after from recovery from the attack, and heard a familiar voice. The voice of Ordo, who was a traitor against Vilaz's vod. He heard his announcement and couldn't believe what he heard. He had killed their Manda'lor.

Vilaz tried to denied that fact, but it was reality and not a dream. "No, no, no!" The Mandolorian yelled, as he expressed himself over the news that would be heard by everyone and everyone else in the galaxy. Vikaz had promised to the corpse of Mia that he would hunt down the traitorous bastard and pike his head for all to see. And now, he would do the same for their fallen Manda'lor.

From the top of his lungs, Vilaz yelled out in an open comm link that would be heard by everyone, including the One Sith. "You have no power over us! You have no right to bury Gilamar! You have no right to wear his helm! You have no place among our ranks! And there will never be a truce between the Mando'ade and the Sith! And you will be killed by my hands! As you challenged Gilamar for the helm of Manda'lor, I, Vilaz Munin, challenge you in single combat for the helm of Manda'lor. Unless, you are to cowardly to face me, dar'manda!"

That message would be directed towards Ordo, the Sith scum who dared to call himself a Mandolorian and their vod.

The location of Ordo and Gilamar were close by, for it was a building that was in Vilaz's location.

"You!" The warrior said to a vod, "Get me to Ordo's position, now!"

There was a nod from the Mandolorian and the two warriors met each other. How would Vilaz get to the top of the building? By riding his vod that had a jetpack with him. "I'll deal with you later," Vilaz said to his previous opponent before riding through air with his vod, holding tight as his arms were across his chest.

The pair of Mandalorians flew through the, towards the roof of the building, and arrived to their destination. There Vilaz saw through his T-Visored helmet the dar'manda that had killer their Manda'lor and was wearing his helm. "Go," he ordered the Mandalorian that accompanied him, and without hesitation, he obeyed and flew off to combat.

Anger had risen through Vilaz as he saw Ordo with his own eyes. He would admit that Ordo had more experience than him but Vilaz was capable. His arsenal that was his Beskad, the duel WESTAR pistols, his flamethrower on his right arm, and the mini concussion missile on his left, and the ysalamir nutrient pack that was attached to his back, which would make any force users dead to the force that was on the rooftop of the building.

Breaking the silence, Vilaz then said.

"I hope you are ready to be welcomed by Death."

As Anija came around for another pass at the corvette flown by what she assumed was a Sith - the Mandalorians had no craft like that - she started slightly as an audio message cut across the planetary open comm frequency.

"This has gone on long enough. I, Ordo, have defeated Mand'alor Gilamar Skirata, and claim his title. We fought in fair single combat. He was a brave man, a strong man, and my Vod. I claim is title of Mand'alor and offer a truce. Leave now go reinforce Mandalorian borders and there will be no threat from the sith." He held up Gilamar's helmet, his buy'ce, for all to see, "Come ner vod and help me bury our Mand'alor the Fearless and our fallen, let us not lose more."

She knew the voice. She'd heard it mere days before. The words were something she would have expected from [member="Ordo"] ... but not this time. Now, instead of bolstering her courage, they sent a chill to her very core. There was something to his voice that sounded off. Even with out the Force, she could pick up on it. As that realization sunk in, her fighter wobbled slightly. Anger filled her. That fething Siit still had his claws in her buir. And right now, there was nothing she could do.

Her hands shook on the controls, and she could feel her bes'uliik dropping. It was then that ANNE took over, using Anija's HUD uplink to control the craft. the AI didn't know what had happened, but she'd heard the message as Anija had. And she'd seen what Anija had on Aeten II. She might not understand what it all was. She was after all, merely a computer program. But what she did know was that anything to do with Ordo since Coruscant would cause a reaction like this.

ANNE was.. concerned - as much as an AI could be such. Until the last few weeks, she'd never seen Anija like this. Keeping most of her attention on piloting the bes'uliik enough to keep it from crashing, she sent a message to Arrbi.

Betna, Something is wrong with Anija. I think it was that message over the open comm... For now, I have control of her ship. She won't crash. But I cannot fly it as well as she. It is not my primary function. Also, sensors show a large unknown object headed for your location. It appears to be a large blue flying reptile of some kind which I cannot identify. Caution is advised.

Objective: Rally the Vode

Entrenched in the heat of battle, forged in the fires of war and strife -- the Mando'ade would rally and cherish the conflict drawing from it the strength of their people and their culture. None of them were promised tomorrow, and they all well knew that this mortal coil was not an infinite span of time. They were warriors of the highest degree - proven to be through thousands of years of bloodshed and war. This Invasion was nothing more than a drop in the proverbial bucket in the legend of the Mandalorians, and it would not break them or tear them apart. If the combined weight of nearly five thousand years had not extinguished the flame of their vigor, nothing would. Though the consequences and actions of this time of war would certainly change the fate of the current Mandalorians, and may alter their history in profound and historic measure. Still, they would fight on, pressing forward with undying heart.

"Sorry Ana'ika, not a chance. This little fellow is the only thing keeping them from taking us apart. Trust me." Azrael gestured with his hand towards the Sith Lords several dozen meters away from their huddled location and then back to the both of them emphasizing his words. "Hang tight though, help is on the way." If she could have seen the grin on his face behind his helmet, it might have been a greater comfort. The murderer of Mia Monroe had drawn up her shield just as the Field Marshal had predicted and counted on. Since his encounter on Coruscant he had expected that move to be her best and more predictable option, and he'd been looking forward to seeing it rise again. However (much like the Coruscant invasion) the tides shifted in a tsunami of change that washed over the entire landscape painting the entire scene with a grave new tone, as the metaphorical shadow of despair tugged on the heart strings of every vod on the planet. A bellowing voice echoed in every transmission point available, and unmistakable giant of a man that was now informing Azrael of a thing he hadn't wanted to address since he'd heard the first interaction. His Ori'vod had slain Azrael's adopted Father - and was now claiming to take up the mantle and the weighted burden that came with the title of Mand'alor.

"No..." Despair gripped his heart as he barely choked out the defiant syllable. He'd never known Ordo to lie, even in this state of being - he'd been inherently honest with his feelings and his words. Gilamar was dead - a man that had been the only Father figure Azrael could recall in any time in his life. Slain by family, taken down by a man no more worthy to call himself their sole ruler than any one of these wretched Sith. "No..." He said again, his voice growing louder as a report flooded in, and he instantly grasped his weapon and kicked over the large permacrete slab, peppering the landscape before him with the heavy ripper. "You will not defy us!" The Mandalorian screamed, and as if on cue the rubble that was collapsing was blasted away with a mighty barrage of laser fire as the mighty Bes'uliik war droid tore the rubble around them to pieces, blasting it away from both himself and Anastasia. The mechanical roar of the beast bellowed in fury as it's rider did the same. The beast lowered itself down as Azrael vaulted to a seated position, pulling Anastasia up directly in back of him, lowering a domed shield to secure the two. Anger laced every emotion he could call for, and from that rage came the bellowing of orange and yellow bolts of death that drove towards the two Sith as his steed came to charge in abandon. The lizard on his back covering the entire frame of the daunting beast while it charged, tearing up the permacrete street with every metallic stamp.

It seemed as though this was one of two paradigm shifting moments for this war on the Sith as another much louder roar swept across the battlefield, and all of Empress Teta for that matter. A cry of a creature so large it literally shook the foundations of the world and bellowed it's unholy flame to scorch and destroy anything within its path. The creature was known to the Field Marshal, but never witnessed. With the two Sith Lords moving from the battlefield to race towards the creature, Azrael halted his steed as it skidded along the ground. The pain of his loss momentarily clouded by the arrival of this thing. Gilamar had held the locks to the creature's cage, but he wasn't even aware the man had brought the Leviathan to the shores of the Empress Teta until he'd heard the roar and the reports came flooding in. It was Gilamar's parting gift, or so it seemed, and in an instant, Azrael made a decision that he hoped would afford the remaining Mandalorian people a glimmer of hope in this world so soon abandoned by the rally of their Mand'alor. Reaching back his hand of flesh to give a gentle squeeze to Anastasia's hand, he spoke to the beast in the silence of his buy'ce and the droid roared to life again. Tearing from the ground, the war droid blasted into the air, and gave voice to his pain, and his plan.

"Susulur ni vode!" His voice boomed, amplified by not only his helmet, but but the transmissions that rang out from his war-droid that hovered the air above the city streets. "This is not our end - our Mand'alor has unleashed a force to turn the tides of this war. We will not run, we will not cower from this threat by one who had dishonored our Ori'buir. Mand'alor has given his life for this cause, and we will do nothing less than tal'onidir to champion his cause. Rise my vode, and take that which we came for!" Drawing his flare gun from his beast's holster, he shot a flare into the sky and called out a triumphant and familiar war cry. "For Gilamar!" Saying Mand'alor so soon after Ordo had sullied the title with is negligent claim to the title was an insult in his eyes....so he spoke the name of their true Mand'alor, the one who had lost life and limb fighting for everything he believed in, everything they believed in. It was true that this Leviathan would lay waste to any and all that got in it's path, but that was something for the Sith to worry about as the Mandalorians knew better than to up arms against such a beast. Gilamar had taken this thing to this world for a purpose, and if it had to be used, it would only help the Mandalorians in their quest to take the planet, either by retribution, or ruin. They would drive the Sith out either way.

The beast turned and blasted from the scene, drawing on intel from the communication before that would point him in the exact direction of the current Dark Lord of the Sith. He'd stayed his hand for now, and bode his time. Azrael had even met with Ordo's wife and discussed his condition in depth about what was known of how his Ori'vod had changed so drastically. It was hard to wrap his head around that a brother of his so powerful in the Force couldn't resist this sinister Sith spirit that held him so fully in its sway. He also couldn't rule out that it had simply convinced Ordo that this was the right course of action. Whatever the circumstance, Azrael would wait no longer. He was coming for Ordo to finish what Gilamar had started. This was the cause of all the pain and disaster the Mandalorians had faced. It all rested heavy on Ordo..and it would all end with him.

Grozurra froze as his happy meal fell to the floor. Mand'alor Skirata was dead. While he had been toying with the 'Vong and hunting for snacks at McYoda's, the Dar'mada had murdered his Mand'alor. Anger, frustration, and shame flooded through the armored wookiee. His paws clenched into fists as a deep, resonant growl filled the room. His Mand'alor was dead.

One of his hairy, armor encased paws reached out towards the kitchen. Fingers opened and then closed one at a time. A tug of the wrist was accompanied by the screeching of metal from deep within the McYoda's kitchen. Goruzza turned to face Krall, his fist still held in the air. "Enough games." The wookiee growled, his built-in communicator projecting his words in galactic basic through his external speakers. His hand shot forward as if throwing a ball at the Yuuzhan Vong Juggernaut. A fraction of a second later, the deep frier rocketed forth from the depths of the McYoda's kitchen and propelled itself towards Kraal.

Fried crab anyone?

As soon as she saw Dred go flee she did the same thing, going in a different way. As one of her clan sister had made a cheek in when they had put boots on the ground. Finding herself into her wardrod again making a path as she went what a beautiful path this was making. As she let hers take her towards her sister at a fast rate. As she closed in the distance. Putting a call out all she heard was nothing at all. Basaba do you hear me..my sister.....Basaba...

There could only be a few things for reason why her sister wasn't answering one she busy kicking some sith ass, or she no longer with the living. This brought her to bring up her own bio scan feeling that there still a life. Pushing her own wardroid to the max as she used all weapon to hot. Coming to track to where Basaba layed what she saw or what she didn't see of her. Only cause her to jump out into mid air using her jet back to laid as she let her wardroid lay some cover fire.

Basaba what the peach happen to you......

Getting out her field back and doing what she could to stabilize her. Finding herself trying to pick up the monster of the lady. Finding that her jet pack on her back was having a hard time getting her up and over into her wardroid.

There she too had her wardroid moving very quickly out of the zone she had to get her sister to some medical attention quickly.
