JEDI TEMPLE STEPS
FIGHTING SITH A PLENTY
ALLIES: [member="Ben Watts"] [member="Vulpesen"]

Tracyn met with a masked Sith, a man of prowess and skill. A man that was, with prowess and skill, at least. Tracyn dropped the blade of the lightsaber, and the man's swing fell into nothing but thin air as Tracyn sidestepped. He brought his fist to the man's side, cracking his armor at the ribcage, shattering bone beneath it. Tracyn sliced the man apart with the activation of his blade, and kicked his body over. Tracyn spun his blade around his body, dispatching many more Sith, watching them wave towards him. Tracyn's grip tightened on his hilt, as he turned to face [member="Alen Na'Varro"], his face contorting into a hardened expression.

His hand raised, as he gathered the force into his hands. And out went the force burst, one that [member="Darth Vornskr"] had become familiar with. The images of fear clouded his mind for a moment, but Tracyn's familiarity with it and his extensive Teras Kasi knowledge, he expelled it from his mind. No Sith would be prodding into his mind today. The force burst sought out it's target, aiming to slam into Alen and make sure that the man knew who he was fighting and what he was in for.

They̢ ͏w̛oúl̀d ͡not́ s̴ta͝nd a̶l̵o̧ne̷.͟

Those words were pulsing through the Eye of the Dark Lord’s mind as the Chosen of Vahl sat seeping herself into a deep mediation. The power of the Darkside was coursing through her veins like a white hot putrid ooze, flowing and dancing through her nervous system until every cell within her body was consumed by that dark energy.

Few could hold a candle to the Oracle blessed by the Bogan Goddess Vahla, an now, an extension of the Dark Lord’s power. The gift of farsight augmented by the Sorcerers of Rhand’s blessings of Darksight forged Darth Isolda into a manifestation of prophetic manipulations, able to decidedly pick the best option among the metaphysical hall of mirrors that was time.

From here, she would be able to broaden her mental reach to give the One Sith an edge in their attack. Who would join, who would aide, when and where.

For the tactician who could see even briefly into the future could win the war.

If one could anticipate attacks, then one could be ready with the right counter to be victorious in it.

Isolda sat with her hands laying upon her lap, the dark inky tips of her fingers twitching every slightly as the intricate tattoos decorated over her skin began to pulse. Like liquid ink under her flesh, they slowly began to move, slithering like vile serpents within the dermis.

In that instant, she opened her mind to the depths and currents of the Force, letting it seep into her very soul.

As a small transport ship touched down among the absolute chaos that was unfolding on the bloody steps of the Jedi Temple, a distinctive face stood out among the frenzied crowd of fighting force users. The Chiss Sith Sokrai Ronaro stepped out of the shuttle, as her lightsaber burst to life, it's purple blade crackling with energy and power. She stepped forward onto the dirty and grimy stairs, and she began running forward into the fray, and began wildly dueling with the Jedi, not caring on who she attacked or struck, as she wildly flipped through the air, and landing hardly onto the uneven ground.

Ryan Korr awakened to an earthquake.

The very foundations of the Temple shook riotously, threatening to bring everything crumbling down. Ryan burst upright, fear causing adrenaline to pump through his body. A sheen of cold sweat slicked his bared chest. Grey eyes wide and startled looked around. He was in his quarters inside the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. The quaking stopped, but it did not leave him feeling any easier. A feeling of wrongness washed over him. The Dark Side. Here.

Ryan flung the covers away, exposing more of his scarred torso, and leapt out of bed. He skidded to a halt beside his closet and shrugged on his standard Jedi issue white tunic, synching it tight around his gut with a plain belt of deep brown upon which he clipped his lightsaber and a commlink. He hurriedly pulled on shin length brown boots and rushed out the door.

As he raced toward the source of contention that practically battered at his senses, his comlink rang. It was [member="Marcello Matteo"]. "In the Temple heading toward the main hall. I sense Dark Siders. What's going on?"

Eventually, Daella made it to the Jedi Temple. She hopped out of her vehicle and landed outside of the opposite entrance that the One Sith attacked - possibly one that [member="Vargent Nordii"] would use to evacuate the Younglings.

For over a minute, Daella waited outside of the temple. During the time, several gunships zipped by and dropped off groups of Republic Trooper from Captain Oreluos. She and the rest of the soldiers remained dutifully silent.

Once a sizable team had gathered, Daella began to make the trek up the stairs in order to join the fray further inside.

"Bloodfin Two here, it seems we've achieved total surprise - the enemy is confused and disoriented" Albrecht's wingman said over secure coms, "Looks like another milk run, doesn't it?"

"This will be anything but a milk run - the Jedi are unlike anyone we've ever fought before -underestimating the power of the Force will be your undoing, Bloodfin Two" Albrecht said in annoyance as his formation of TIE Defenders made another sweep over the temple, strafing hostile combatants with laser cannon fire whenever the opportunity presented itself. Something was bothering him about this - none of the Jedi's fighters had taken off, which meant that they either hadn't had the opportunity to take off...or they were reinforcing their forces on the ground. Either way, their primary mission was close support, they couldn't afford to get distracted by enemy fighters. Either way, he could tell that his mercs were getting impatient, as they were promised a bonus per kill against enemy fighters, but none had taken off, so he needed to give them something to do to earn their paychecks.

"Bloodfin Six reporting in, Republic Gunships have just arrived at the temple" reported one of the Defender pilots, catching Albrecht's attention.

"Affirmative" he answered, "Aurek flight, follow me and engage those gunships - the rest of you provide support for the ground forces whenever possible."

Four of the sixteen Defenders peeled off from the formation and screamed down towards the landing pads on the opposite side of the temple where the gunships had arrived, laser cannons blazing.

JEDI TEMPLE, CORUSCANT
OBJECTIVE: IT'S A SURPRISE
COMPANY: ALSO A SURPRISE

His name was Hannibal Oryen.

And he was here to kick some particular Jedi's ass.

Well, not yet.

Since the vast majority of the people accompanying him on the shuttle were space ninjas, Hannibal was undoubtedly the most heavily armed individual present. As if the CZ-836 LMG strapped to his back wasn't enough, he also held in his hands the CZ-840 Combat Shotgun. He also came in with his usual gear. Gauntlets, helmet, light armor, few grenades. That kind of thing. His jetpack was present as well. Jetpacks were useful things to have when it came to taking on whimsical space magicians. He had not come here alone. A scary looking friend of his was on the shuttle, but he was going to show up later.

See, Hannibal had a plan. Presently, it involved not doing a damn thing and popping back into play when they least expected it. So while everyone else was busy beating each other up, Hannibal reached down and activated his personal stealth field generator. It was a device he had won from a bet during a playthrough of Bunkers and Badasses. He didn't think he would be invited to any future sessions. Their loss, really.

Without so much as a peep, Hannibal blinked out of existence. He would be back later, probably at the most inconvenient of times for a certain someone.

It didn't take long for someone to seek him out. A Force Burst slammed toward him with great speed, and Na'Varro was suitably impressed. Quite an effort from a Jedi who was clearly not one of the strongest in terms of sheer Force power ... the man would be dangerous. Unluckily for the Jedi, Na'Varro was a Force Shield specialist. That was his primary of the short list of powers he had Mastered, and there was always a chance that he was the greatest living exponent of it. Maybe, maybe not. He was top five at least. Regardless, the Sith Lord gathered the Dark Side to him, letting it ravage through him ... then he seized hold of its power and erected a curve half-bubble of protective energy in front of him. The Force Burst hit his Shield with sheer force but the Shield held firm, sending the destructive ball of Force energy into a nearby pillar, which in turn sent dozens of shards of stone and durasteel in every direction. The Jedi Temple was one pillar poorer. Force Burst was not the most responsible power the Jedi Knight could have chosen.

"Nice attempt at exterior decoration." He smirked, and his crimson blade ignited. Strider made no attempt at displaying his superior power and uselessly wasting his energy, he simply stalked forward with his blade held loosely at his side, coming within striking range of the Jedi Knight.

"You're going to have to do so much better than that."

Na'Varro's blade came up into a Form I starting position, though he would be using a composite style based on Form V. He'd aim to blow through this guy quickly. He had come to kill Masters, not Knights.

Done.

Finally, it was done... The information copied and transferred to the two locations, one which was on orders...

He gave a sigh. Thank the Force it was done. He grabbed his communicator, and turned it on...

".... It's done, Grandmaster Dista. Copied to the Temple like I promised" he said.

His mission here was finished. Now it was time to get off Coruscant and back to his hiatus...

He gave a sigh again as he turned his datapad off and exited the archives. Looks like he might be getting involved in the fight after all, if he planned to get off Coruscant alive.

JEDI TEMPLE:
Steps; Fighting No PC ATM; Allied with Sith
The let her off her leash. Let her push past the crowd and descend into the chaos below. Within moments the eight-point-five-feet-tall giant was ramming head first into a Temple Guard. His blaster fell from his hands, which moved up to grope at his bleeding chest. Poor man had been gored by the Spawn's horns. Blood stained his pale robes as it poured from his wounds. What a lovely sight. But his attacker had no time to stay and enjoy his suffering. Instead she turned, leaping at the nearest Jedi. By the look of him he was merely a padawan... not yet ready for a fight such as this. Somehow (likely due to the force) he spun his blade around just in time to defend himself. Green light slammed into the duraplast that covered her arm. Before it could cut through her other hand shot out, wrapping itself around his saber arm in a vice-like grip. With a simple squeeze she snapped the bone. He had no time to scream. A fist smashed in his skull before he even had a chance to react. That's usually what happens when you take on a solid wall of muscle. Especially one bent on destroying everything.

First would be the Jedi. After them? Protectorate likely. Maybe the Fringe. At the very end would be the Sith themselves, along with the Vong. Didn't matter to the Shattered Knight, who she fought. As long as she was able to kill she'd be happy. Rage was what fueled the broken system that was her mind. To many people had fiddled with it, apparently. "JUST DIE ALREADY!" The force-dead monster roared while using the Padawan's blade to stab an unarmored woman. Her body twitched twice on the ground before becoming still. For a second the abomination froze... the corpse had a painful resemblance to the sleeping body of Circe Savan. That was unacceptable. "Jedi filth..." She spat, using her boot to crush the body. All similarities vanished in a mere moment. Once more the behemoth moved, abandoning her first blade in place of her personal Lightclub. Things were about to get real interesting, real fast.

JEDI TEMPLE, CORUSCANT
Objective: The Hunt

With a swish and flick of his hand, the landing ramp to the vessel went snapping back into place. A heavy grunt escaped the monster's lips and passed through the filtration system of his helmet as he heaved up the BTI-Reaver machine gun and settled it into his grip. Being experienced in his chosen profession, the weapon felt smooth and comfortable in his grip. Not to mention light. Unlike the rest of the insignificant morals swarming about, the massive figure chose to zip on by using the flanks and out edges of combat, only smashing a few skulls into the ground when threatened. Xalus seemed to be a lot more armed than those glowstick wielding sorcerers and their red-bladed counterparts, and it comforted him knowing that he would have enough ammunition for all of them. Bullets for all. He mused to himself, taking a stray blaster bolt to the chest, barely flinching.

His art is killing.
It's time to paint a masterpiece.

She walks in beauty like the night...

The melodic sounds of a music box filled the air while wide green eyes lit upon the fiery skies of Coruscant. Breath drew upon empty lungs while ringlets of ebony scattered upon the air as a gust of wind blew. There, standing upon a balcony of the Jedi Temple, Erinyes Draclau, watched with a blanched face the Sith attack another world.

Smoke.

Memories drew upon the mild of the young Shi-ido, that of the past, of another world and a throne saturated in blood. Her mouth was parched, as lips as red as blood parted to utter a whispered, "Nay..." Shaking her head in disbelief, she took a step back upon bare feet, the pale white fabric of her robe clinging over her lithe form. Those visions had awoken her from her slumber, driving her from her bed to view the heavens be scorched by flame.

I smell smoke.

Yet there wasn't any smoke near by. A premonition? Behind her, the murmurs of other Jedi rose, an order made to escort the youngling to safety.

"Erinyes!!!" Her name came from the right. Yet something drew her attention, an almost whimsical glaze to her eyes. It called at her, quickening her heart. Within the depths of jade eyes flickered flames of the past as she curled her fingers round the pendant that lay between her breasts.

A hand curled round her elbow, tugging her inside. "We must go!"

Stumbling a bit, blinking away the haze to focus, Erinyes turned towards the younger Jedi, nodding as she was led back into the Temple. The panic rose from the younglings, in the distance she heard a voice.

[background=#232323]We have to go. Field trip time, okay guys? We're gonna go get some supplies to prank Master Apparine, okay? But we have to be really, really quiet. Don't want anyone to get suspicious or anything.[/background]

The cerulean faced Jedi did not hesitate. Plucking a young Togruta girl, Erinyes gave a nod at the purple haired woman.

"We must take them to the council chambers," she told her, "Use the hidden chamber."

Jedi Temple
Inner Temple.

The Maelibus's legs pumped as he moved away from the shuttle, he was already moving through the temple, hopefully with [member="Darth Vornskr"] nearby, and he practically dived deeper into the Jedi Temple while the bulk of the One Sith forces fought them in the Great Hall. That wouldn't really be helpful in winning the battle, now would it?

It could be with Darth Shara leading the charge, but even if the Maelibus fought in a similar style to the other older and stronger Maelibus, he knew he wasn't strong enough to survive in a battle in such close proximities with so many unseen attacks. It would be better for him to move deeper into the Temple - where hopefully there would be weaker opponents to face.

The Maelibus let out a cry, a sound that was less of a scream, and more of the sound of a beast that cried for blood. It was time for the Maelibus to kill his first Jedi.

Jedi Temple Main Entrance

Darth Kentarch started his march into the Temple. However before long a Jedi Master had crossed his path, shouting to leave his home. "The Sith shall burn this temple to the ground, and this place will not be your home. It will only be a monument to all your failures." Kentarch replied with a calm and ominous tone. "Over the corpses and bones of the Jedi. The Sith will build a new temple, a holy place to mark the final triumph of Darkness over Light." Kentarch said as his lightsaber came to his hand. An Icy blue blade came to life, and Kentarch met [member="Vulpesen"]'s Makashi stance with a devastating force push. the sheer power of the kinetic blast alone was enough to kill, and left a blueish trail of compressed air in it's wake.

War changes people. It does things to people that would not be thought possible. Changes them in distorted ways. Almost as though a sith changed a creature with the force. Over the past few years since my becoming unto this Galaxy. I was no longer a child. No longer a dog that scurried under the skirts of a Mother I no longer had. I did not hide away from the battles and wars. I had fought in past battles. Only I was the one attacking. Killing Soldier after soldier with my yellow lightsaber. As an Apprentice I was with the Archmaster of the Imperial Knights. Now, I was a Jedi Knight A man by my own age.

I smiled as I walked out of the room. Pulling my lightsaber hilt out as I passed soldiers of the Republic. And Jedi padawans that were taken away to be evacuated. Dressed in the Templar Robes, I activated the lightsaber. The yellow blade, The Gold blade that I have had for many years now as an apprentice, and now a Knight. it glowed in the halls as I walked. I had my hood down, allowing my bright Blonde spiky hair to be very apparent to the others that were here.

I did not fight for the Republic. I fought for the Jedi Order. As much as we had the same ideas, The Jedi Order and the Silver Jedi. We had to help our brothers and sisters out. I took a firm grip of my lightsaber and opened the door. letting myself into the main foyer of the Jedi Temple.

A mix of Red, Blue, Green, Yellows, Purples, and even White lightsabers came into my vision as Streams of fire from tanks on a soldiers back, and bolts in green, blue and red flying everywhere. For me, I simply waled. Soldiers ran up to me, attempting to kill me. However, that would not happen. With a flick of my wrist, it cut his legs off while spinning him around in the air as his feet were taken out from underneath him. And the second soldier was met with the pommel of my lightsaber to the face. And the final third man was stabbed through with ease. I had an emotionless face as I spoke in a whisper that seemed to echo the entirety of the room. "I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...."

I then smiled as I had the notion to say such a thing as I ended another man's life. I was once a Dog. A stray dog that knew nothing of the world. Now I was the Wolf. The predator, The hunter. I was a Child no more.

Vulpesen grinned at the simplicity of his attack, leaping high into the air to avoid it. "Nope!" As he rose up, one of his hands shot out, launching a a trio of daggers directly at Kentarch's chest. "Have a gift!" The battle had begun and now that he could drop his stern demeanor, the usual Amaran glee was showing itself in the excitement brought on by battle. [member="Darth Kentarch"]

Utilizing the Force to enhance his speed, Ryan moved with preternatural swiftness through the halls, emerging in the front entrance in seconds, or at least... what was left of the front entrance. Smoke billowed from the wreckage of a troop transport. Flames rising from several places on the transport licked the air hungrily. Whole chunks of the steps were simply blown away, leaving debris strewn around craters. Several statues depicting some of the most revered personages in the Jedi Order, if not the galaxy, toppled.

The fighting had spilled up from the steps into the Great Hall, where red blades hummed and clashed with green and blue in a cacophony of sound interspersed with the sporadic fire of blasters and slugthrowers. Bodies already littered the floor, most of them in Jedi brown and white. The multitude of black robed figures seemed too much for the gallant defense the Jedi mounted, but every passing minute brought more startled defenders into the fray. What had begun as a slaughter was now turning into a battle.

Ryan clicked his comlink back onto his belt. He'd still be able to hear [member="Marcello Matteo"], if only barely over the din of battle. He sent out a telepathic nudge of urgency to his master. Despite his turbulence with Matteo, Ryan did not hate the man. Far from it. And right now he was sorely wishing for his Master's presence to aid in the fray. Sucking in a deep breath, Ryan resumed his run, sprinting for the first Sith he saw. A strange creature with goldish skin and horns. The Jedi Padawan unclipped his lightsaber and thumbed the activation switch. The sky-blue blade sprang to life with a familiar snap-hiss. Ryan attacked, leaping upward in an Ataru flip that brought him down on the golden skinned Sith, swinging his saber in a blow meant to cut the Dark Sider from crown to pelvis.

Darth Shara had lept like a massive Bull Rancor into the ocean of Jedi. But he would not be alone. The Shield quickly picked up speed as she took her place at [member="Darth Shara"] 's back, her defensive strikes true as she became the Maelibus's rear shield.

He soon took up the fight with a Jedi, and Darth Nephthys' violet blade sang true. The mute gave a flick of her wrist, blade coming to swing an attack at Shara's back in a parry. She stood in between him, and would continue, as a group of Jedi descended upon her.

One mind. One Soul.

Panic was rising in most of those around me. I could feel it weighing down on them... on me... Damn, I have to focus. These kids need to get to safety. That's all that matters at the moment. I can deal with my emotional baggage later, when I have the time. "We must take them to the Council Chambers. Use the hidden chamber." When the woman spoke, I nearly dropped Eria. Sugar honey ice tea. Suddenly I turned into a stuttering, stumbling fool. Taking a second to recover from my surprise I nodded quietly. "Lead the way. I'll make sure no one gets left behind." With that I sent Liam a little look. He had been hanging behind, obviously curious as to what was happening. If I wasn't careful he would slip away from the main group and get himself killed. That would suck.
