The Rescue, The Discovery

It took everything she had not to Pull the saber away when he flashed it open and went to an attack stance. "A vision told me to go to Geonosis. I never go there without a mask. I was planning to make one out of the scraps. We have the time." K'sara got to the floor and activated the plasma torch she was provided, looking through the metal that was lain in front of her. She found the pieces she wanted and went to work. She would have to paint it later, but for now she would focus on the primary function of the mask. "I've been to Geonosis five times and all to test the powers of the dark side. Somehow I hid my dark nature from the Jedi."

Her eyes glanced up. The mask was complete and functional. She placed it on her face and latched it at the base of her lekku, to hold it against her visage. She looked up to him and threw up her hood. Her voice was different in it, deeper, almost masculine. "Krest, how does it look?"

There was a slight frown on the face of the red man as he went back to his seat, watching her toy away and make a mask. He was quiet throughout, more or less drifting off into a sleep state. Of course, he was awake enough to hear her, but it was something restful. And then she spoke.

"Well, if it does what you want it to, it works." Krest had worn a mask before. It wasn't something he preferred, but it would have to do for the moment. "But sure, lets go to the wastland."

"One last question before you doze again. Is the navicomputer the same as it was back in my time?" She asked and rose, soon to walk toward the door. If she had to, she would quickly read up on it or manually pilot the bird to the deserted factory world of the old Confederacy. She remembered going on a few missions with the republic and them teaching her how to fly and fight. She used her powers where standard fire lacked, she hated the idea of proton torpedoes and bombs, even hailfire missiles, unless she absolutely had to use them.

"Probably. I wouldn't know in all honesty. I've never seen your systems." Krest would move after the girl, wanting to still keep an eye on hef. Last thing he needed was her possibly fainting while she was trying to fly the ship. Eventually, he'd sit down in one of the couple of chairs in the cockpit, leaning back in the seat itself.

"So kid, what do you wanna do with yourself now?"

She viewed the navicomputer and ran her hand over the system. "Damn... its entirely different." She sighed and stepped away, "Will you help me with this map? After a couple goes I'll be fine."

She glanced over at his second reply, and initial question in this room. "I was going to ask if I could train with a remote or something to see where my reflexes lay. There is the terms of the lightsaber still."

Krest laughed. Loudly. "I don't know heads or tails of that. Ask the droid." The sroid in question was sitting st the helm, it your run of the mill pilot droids. With a slight nod to the girl, he would poi t tk a small screen beside him. "Use this. A list will show, you pick the planet. Or you can enter the coordinates if you know them." Short and sweet. Krest on the other hand had decided she could get herself her saber.

"Walk down the path, last room kn the right. And only take one saber. I'll know if you took more." If and when she would get to this armory room, it would be filled with all sorts of weaponry. From lightsabers tl gamorian axes, and cathar warblades to simple sticks, he had pretty much one of each public weapon, and some of the others
however, there was only one blasted weapon, and it was a crossbow, given its own section of the room. There was even pure white armor with beskar chest, a ring, and a belt. For some reason, these were by themselves.

She walked to the console and punched in the coordinates. Click! "Pure pazaak." At that moment she turned around, and reached into the top of her robe, she pulled out a Silver focusing crystal, a Sapith, and a Krayt pearl. They were three fairly rare upgrades and she would move to the back room to pick out a lightsaber. She looked through the lightsabers and felt the weight of each one and the feel in her hand. She found a staff-saber one that was to her liking and she activated it. It was laigrek red, a red she wasn't fascinated with. She could tell the lightsaber wasn't modified either... Whoever made this was either looking for the right owner or just didn't know what they were doing.

K'sara sat in a meditative position and placed he lightsaber in front of her. The Vindicator design was one of few lightsaber hilts she was familiar with using. She rose the hilt with the Force and deconstructed it, and allowed her to make the weapon unique. Pure pazaak, the dual blade was finished and she reached her hand out and flicked it on. It felt right. Shutting it off, she placed it to her hip and walked out with the red crystal. "Here, I have no use for this gem. Thank you for allowing me access to the vault." She pulled the hilt and activated one side, allowing him to see the pure white energy with a faint grey aura.

"It's a good choice of color, but I can't say I'm a fan of the staff. Too many weaknesses. But, I'm sure you know how to use it well enough to be a major threat. I'll have to see for myself once we land eh?" Krest offered a wink before turning his head back around to the Droid. "Get us up and out. Can't stay here forever." Without a word the Droid complied, and it wouldn't be long until the ship was in hyperspace. "Should be an hour or so, no longer hopefully."

"Sounds lovely, I don't miss that pathetic rock, but I may gain some use from it. A magnaguard electrostaff. Apparently lightsabers can't cut through them. And they can deflect blaster fire." She chimed and took the empty seat in the cockpit. "What can you tell me of this new era?" She was curious to learn some of what she missed. It was natural and was bound to be brought up eventually. Now that they had time to sit back, she thought it best to ask him.

"Good question! I've no idea where to begin though. So.. Lets start with you asking questions, and I'll answer what I can." He would lean back in his seat, offer a slight shrug to the girl. There was simply too much for him to just go into it.

"What happened after the battle of Yavin IV?" She asked and looked to him. "I wish to know from as far back as you remember." She kept her eyes on him for another moment before gazing up at the panel of lights above her, she enjoyed the feeling of these seats, which she found quite strange. She ran her fingers upon her lightsaber hilt and closed her eyes to learn the contours once more

"Uh... I don't know. The galaxy hit a dark spot due to a galactic plague. Pretty much everyone died, but it went away. People ended up rebuilding, and.. Well. Bunch of powers came to, and fell, and rose, and fell. A lot of advancements had been made, and.." Krest frowned for a.moment, scratching his head. "I'm not really one for galactic history in truth.."

"Ah. It's quite alright. I wouldn't blame you for disliking reading about it all the time or even wanting to think about it. We both have been through hell... But the Force brought us together for a purpose." She smiled and held out her hand in friendship. "Whatever that purpose is, let us find it."

Krest would blink for a moment, then grin as he took her hand. Offering a firm shake, he would nod once. "Aye, let's see where this will go." Releasing her hand, he would once more lean back in his chair. "But, now for a quick nap.." Closing his blue eyes, he would more or less drift off, but he was fully aware of the girl and everything she would do.

She would slam for a nap too. Unfortunately, the nap was short lived. The droid in the back started chirping and chanting to alert them that they arrived in Geonosis space. She shot awake and stood. "Ready to land and find out what was so important about this dust pile, master?" She asked as she also held her lightsaber in case he nearly lunged again.
