The Resilience Form…

Corvus deactivated the droid. Soresu was exemplary when you relied on outlasting your opponent – but when that opponent never tired, the odds weren’t exactly fair.

“We could do some more and change the droid’s Form, but I’m not sure I can actually teach you any more. Your progress is now down to just one person – you. Time spent will be key here. And variety. Find people to spar with – each of the Forms. Left-handers, right-handers, multiple opponents, those that use the Force as well as the saber. Practice daily and vary your routine and both your ability to use the Form and Center of Being will increase.”

“You did as well as any Padawan I’ve ever trained. You should remember that and use it as a catalyst to get even better. And learnt the other Forms. Not to use them, but to understand them. Their strengths and weaknesses.”

“If you want to take it further, I can teach you specific moves. Few Jedi seem to spend any time on them nowadays. So if and when you’re ready, just ask. But before we conclude, do you have any questions?” As she asked, she put her hand where the droid had struck Jake. Using the Force, she relieved the pain of the burn and increased the healing process. A bacta pack wouldn't harm, but she'd speeded things up.

Jake listened to [member="Corvus Raaf"]'s small spill and winced when she had placed her hand on the burn. The burning sensation quickly subsided, and when she removed her hand his burn was only a very small size compared to the size it had been when it had happened. "Thank you for the healing master." Jake smiled. "I'll have to learn that skill sometime, as it definately has it's uses, but I don't have any further questions on the form right now. I will be sure to come back when I think I have learned the form better." Jake said knowing she was an amazing teacher. "Thank you again for your time spent training me master Raaf." He bowed slightly as a sign of respect to her.

"And thank you for being such an able and willing student." She bowed in return. "I'm sure we'll train again, it tends to work like that." And she smiled and gathered her things before leaving the room, muttering about teaching a class of Younglings about the Code.
