Evelina continued to observe the ongoing confrontation with equal parts intention and bewilderment. She blinked in slow, weary fashion as the white-haired boy leveled one playground insult after another towards the Grand Inquisitor in a display that was starting to more resemble a temper tantrum. Under different conditions Evelina might have responded with some words of her own, but professional restraint and discipline kept her tongue in check.
She did not want to act the part of a child in front of the Grand Inquisitor, after all.
“Acknowledged, Grand Inquisitor.” Evelina answered in a polite, concise tone. The sonic neutralizer in her helmet activated automatically, thus ensuring that none of the two intruders would overhear anything the assassin had said or heard over her comms.
Still, even with the Inquistor’s transmission, she didn’t allow her focus to slip. She checked her probe droid’s feed again, before setting her gaze back towards the two intruders. Fortunately, the taller one was preparing to leave, a course of action which Evelina speculated that the Echani youth might soon follow.
