The revival in a new time era

Once he was on the stretcher, Azalyn pushed it with one hand and with the other brought a map up on her holopad. "Just rest, okay? You have about an hour left and you'll be safe within ten minutes." If her ship had been smaller, she could've landed closer to the medcenter, and if she'd been alone she could've used her speeder, but they'd get there on time.

"Hey," she told the receptionist as she wheeled [member="Jhogece Reede"] into the medcenter at last. "Poisoned wound, big emergency. He doesn't have too long left." She slid a few credits across the desk to make sure no time was wasted. The woman nodded as she tucked the money into her pocket and led them along.

He liked the thought about being killed by the poison. He had nothing. His wife is dead, his children are dead. Everything he knew has changed. The bit of life he had left without being healed would be too easy.
But he was out of the cryogen capsule. He was out of the eternal prison he inhabited until yesterday. Jhogece Reede was one of the best mercenaries 5000 Years ago. He got a new chance. A new reason to life.

It was several days before the poison was fully removed. Azalyn had just come back from a particularly challenging mission when she got the chance to visit the medcenter. Parking in the same spot as the first time, she slipped in quickly and entered [member="Jhogece Reede"]'s hospital room.
"I see you didn't die," she said bluntly. "How are you holding up?"

"I feel fine, thanks." After a short break he said: "Why did you come back?" He wonders, why [member="Azalyn Falconer"] came back to him. She doesn't look like somebody really caring about persons like him.
She couldn't have known very much from him. It was impossible. The time he once lived was far too long ago.

Azalyn hesitated. "I know what it's like to be abandoned when you most need somebody there," she said, not meeting his eye. "It's not fun." Her father had walked out on her after her mother was framed for murder, afraid of tarnishing his reputation, leaving Azalyn on her own. Even as somebody who made her living from murder, it wasn't something she'd wish on anyone.

[member="Jhogece Reede"]

"Oh... my condolence...", he wasn't good at showing compassion. Every try to show it ended in an disaster.

After a short break he stands up and goes to the front of [member="Azalyn Falconer"]. "So, tell me: Why did you came to me?"
