She heard Darth Veles message loud and clear, he was up against two Jedi. Her troops where indisposed, as they where fending off, the republic troops. She how ever would not leave, her friend to face the Jedi alone. She concentrated on feeling small, she then extended her arm, and put her two finger out on her hand, then drew it back in across her. She cloaked her self in the force. She then began moving quickly towards darth veles position. She hoped she would not get their too late, as such she was rushing which was unlike her. As she would normally not just rely on the force alone, she would take precautions, such as moving slow and keeping to the shadows. With the speed she was going at, it would not be long before they she reached them.

Tsolan grinned as Talon once again refused to escape his bloody hold. Such things were often foolish and that was a lesson he intended to teach. Once again, lightning arced from the sith's fingers, running through Talon's body with ease, as an impaled hand made such an assault impossible to avoid. It didn't matter who you were, a charge was a charge and something like this often worked wonders on the nerves of ones body, a fact he took advantage of as it moved through Talon, likely making Vulpesen's movements superior in dexterity as pain was of no concern. As Talon tried to strike as its saber's hilt, he tilted the blade forward the blade and lunged at Talon's body. The yellow blade would of course cleave through the lower half, but with one part still racing for the jedi's side, Vulpesen saw it as a small price to pay.

The light of alderaan began to wane as Tsolan pressed his attack. Talon's blade had crossed and slashed at the top portion of Tsolan's lightsaber as that was the part that had been attacking his arm. His blade sliced through and killed that end of the evidently always ignighted saber staff. Again the sith released his lightning, however, this time, it was expected. Talon used tutaminis and began absorbing the force lightning as tsolan would have to turn his blade and stab or slice with the bottom of his lightsaber. Talon rotated his wrist as the saber aimed for his body while pulling his absorbing hand back. The saber moved to parry the sith's own while talon trust his torn hand forward and released force light at Tsolan's fox faced mask.

A trickster, a shapeshifter…a being completely random. Yeah, seems out of character to me, too.

Muggles. As if.

What is a god? What does a god do? Does it walk around on two legs as a man does, speaking in a singular voice, a concrete personality forged from experience of success and failure, love and loss? Just a Joan Osbourne musing, riding a bus to the airport, but with a little extra sparkle in its divine eye?

No. A god is much bigger than the trappings of singleness. A god ishines in the facets of fragments dashed upon the beats of seconds.

It is a concept; it is a frequency, and it hums across all of space and time.

If Yun Harla was indeed a god, then all tricksters were vessels of Yun Harla.

And whenever we lie, we are She.

Or She is nothing.

A new voice demanded Yun Harla’s name -- a sister-self from beyond her reach. She left the other vessel to wonder, unable to answer back directly. Instead, Yun Harla dug into deeper regions of Tsavong’s awareness, removed from past, present, and future all at once.

She whispered to the Hydra Queen; shadow puppets on the walls.

If she wanted a more direct communication, she would have to establish a more substantial connection.

The only thing that Sophia heard was the thing regarding her daughter. Everything else had gone in one ear and out the other. She could feel herself becoming angry at the mere mention of some Sith going to her daughter. She had working hard and sacrificed much to ensure her daughter did not have to deal with the Sith in the way she had. There was no way she would allow a Sith to go after her daughter now. No! "Leave Isabella out of this," she growled making a swipe at the Sith in front of her.

"She is a harmless five year old and I will not have you or anyone else harming her." She didn't wait for the Sith to fight back and all her motions were done with such blind rage. She wouldn't, couldn't allow for her little girl to be harmed and as such she would dispose of the threat. She didn't care what the other Jedi had to say about her actions. She would do as she needed to.

That was doing it, that was pushing the button and slowly Balaya moved her hand raising as the hydra staff stiffened and caught the blade to lock. The dark'chyld saber in her other hand but not activated for the moment while she spoke pushing more energy into her, she wanted Sophia to be powerful, to feel the strength of the darkside and it was there in her... she was already angry. "I don't plan to harm her Sophia... I plan to twist her to make her serve the Dark Lord and slaughter those who stand in the way of his vision, have her kill the ones who her mother serves." Balaya moved speaking more of the spells and pressed it, wanting it, wanting to give Sophia more power to fight her. Let it into your heart Sophia, let your body hum with the darkside and you can protect your daughter you can carve a path against all who would harm her. The jedi have failed you, the CIS failed you, Josiah failed you... All that has stayed there is your hatred and your rage... feed it and let it out.

Tsolan grinned as he started to absorb his attack. Finally, an intelligent move. He was proud that he finally figured it out, but then he was disappointed once more as Talon tried pulling away. No can do. With a quick jerk of his arm, he wrenched Talon's body to the right, using clawed hand to do further damage, likely making it useless by now while also causing the attack to be cut off. Such a thing would also prevent any use of the force light. This clawed hand was a useful advantage, and he was far simply releasing such a useful thing. As for his saber, Tsolan once again allowed the blades to clash, but this time he deactivated the blade in a moment before returning its beam to slip past the defenses towards [member="Talon Vosra"]'s leg. It was time to use all his tricks.

Talon was jerked to the right because the claws of the sith armor was quite long. His now mangled hand while not totally useless was bleeding sticky sap like blood quite profusely. He stumbled as he lunged to the right and fell to his knees as the sith swung his still functional saber at where Talon's legs had been.

Talon swung his own saber to block the blow with his good hand and was showered with sparks as the blades collided.

"Second one coming, you take the fish, I'll take her." Marek grumbled to Marcello as he picked up on Banshee closing in in the force. She was unfamiliar, he didn't know who or what to expect as he shifted to face the direction she was coming from. She was strong from what he could tell, likely a Sith Lord in power terms, which meant she'd have answers, and oh how he wanted some answers.

Coming to get you Cale. He reassured himself mentally as his eyes narrowed behind the mask. His grip tightened around the hilt of his blade as anticipation built, he'd been kept docile for quite a while, and now he had a chance to just let himself be. Be the monster. Albeit minus the actual monster-ing.

All things considered, things could have been worse. Things could always be worse, the sith could have cut her legs off. She could be dead. But she wasn't, instead she was being used as a personal shield.

But things could be worse....

Right?

She said nothing, simply because her fear seemed to have done something to her voice box, though in her head there was a long stream of insults not fit for childrens ears, not to mention the varying images of his demise...and hers. She closed her eyes, and slowly counted to ten, letting the fear fill every fiber of her being giving it control for just those ten counts. Then she opened them and refused to let it in anymore.

She had to get that computer back. Simone was not a spy, she was not even combat capable. She was a journalist, and a slicer. She knew how to handle people with words, not with weapons and she knew her way around the inside of a console. Not exactly skills that would be of use to her right now. She was also a zeltron. A smile curved her lips and she released a burst of pheramones intended to draw Veles attention back to the attractive young zeltron he was man handling. Everything about this pheramone burst was meant to seduce, meant to make her more appealing.

Her hope? That he would set her down. But hopes and dreams were normally crushed by sith.

Tsolan let out a growl as the blades collided. So, Talon did have certain abilities in combat and he could see why he had been elevated. "Good." The first words he had spoken for a while, and he had to admit that Talon's control of his pain was admirable, especially if he could keep a clear head in the situation. But I'm not done. Keeping his saber locked against that of the jedi, Tsolan hooked his fingers once more and yanks Talon towards him while bringing his own face forward. The attack was simple, yet it should be effective. A metal mask to the face might very well make a very bad day even worse.

(Note, the hands aren't armored, just clawed as my character isn't human.)

Rianna looked over at Cameron as he drew his line in the sand for Rianna each of these things did not have a controlling factor on who she was. Each person complicated in their own ways. She was a healer and in no way does she raise her weapon or initiate a battle. She often recalls the teachings, do not draw your saber unless you are prepared to use, and prepared to die. She was prepared for both, but it did not mean she would draw her weapon.

She had known that he would not be happy with her acts during his attempt to free Sherry DeWinter from prison, but then Strider had put her there and it would only be Strider to set the record straight and free her if need be. Rianna could not allow the prison to be caught unaware alerting them was the right thing to do.

Cameron's being upset that she did not do as he wanted, or that he thought she had no convictions and was playing "hippie" made her laugh inside. If anything she had grown and yes she had changed.

"I do not see the reason for drawing lines in the sand Cameron, giving me such choices does not define who, and what I am. I am sure we would define strength and weakness quite different"

Sith v Jedi an ancient argument in all these years no one had been able to convince the other of any similarity.

Marcello could only...arch a curious eyebrow at the Mon Calamari Sith's action. The Jedi Master couldn't be sure if the fish was trying to be funny or...genuinely believed that what was happening to his body was a directional attack that could be 'blocked' by adding an organic or inorganic barrier to the equation. The Jedi Master's very young apprentice, @Carlo Delen, had enough knowledge of the Force to know that was most certainly not accurate in this instance.

Allowing the effects of the Morichro to continue effecting the cells within the Mon Calamari's body, Marcello tilted his head slightly. The Force existed in and around all things, he could manipulate the Sith's entire body without even seeing it with little real impediment at this point. Or...he could take advantage of the slight change to the tactical situation. Acknowledging that there was another Jedi preparing to attack the Sith, Marcello shifted his strategy.

Unfortunately...it was probably going to cause Simone a great deal of...well he wouldn't enjoy it were it him. The datapad she contained was very much...a secondary issue at this point. They could see about getting it back, maybe, at a later point in time. Right now, her life was quite literally...hanging in the balance.

Having ceased his use of Morichro on Darth Veles, the Jedi Master combined the full might of his strength within the Force, wrapping its invisible presence around Simone firmly before pulling her entire body towards him. The Mon Calamari could attempt to hold on if he so desired, but it was not likely to end with him remaining...rooted where he was. Marcello had the good-fortune of committing his full attention to the action while the Mon Calamari's was very clearly split.

The Naboo pilot wasn't a mathematician but...

With the living shield not working, the Mon Calamari could only feel his power fading away. As he fell unconscious, he could not even feel his body hitting the ground...

Talon who had fallen to his knees was again pulled forward as the Sith leaned way down to smash his face into Talon's. The Jedi's eyes widened as he saw the on coming fox mask. His choices were few from this position and his mobility was even less. Talon was struck hard in the forehead gashing his skin and likely giving him a concussion. Spotted vision blurred his sight partially but he could still make out the form of the wolfman thing(don't know the species). It was a strong hit, a bold hit, but he had made a singular mistake, to lean that far for a head-butt exposed the chin and neck. Talons saber swung up at the underside of the man's now exposed chin more by reflex than anything, hours and years of training guiding the sweeping stike as it moved. The length of the blade and the proximity would make it difficult for the Sith not to lose his head.

Darth Banshee had finally made it to the fight, she saw her former master in trouble. She know moved towards the bond haired hulk, she saw him doing so to hostage. He was making her invisible, this was hurting Darth Veles. That was some thing she would not let stand, she moved to his left hand side and behind him. The reason for this was most Jedi where right handed, and thus their left eye was weaker. She then lite up her lightsaber, and struck at him with a straight lunge to his shoulder blade. Her face had grimace on, as she attacked him.

As Banshee ignited her blade the distinct snap-hiss caught Marek's attention, shifting to face the noise the Jedi master fired out a burst of telekinetic energy in the form of a force push, hoping to send the other Sith flying and give Matteo any additional time he needed to counter. Every bit of the energy he sent forth came from focus and an odd sense of calm, it was alien to him. So long rage had guided his actions, fueled his abilities, but now the former Sith Stalker of the Old Empire was a reformed Jedi master, point being he'd have never seen this coming a few years back. But he was here now.

"We need to get the Mon Cal secure, no doubt he has a wealth of information is his possession." Marek noted aloud. He could deal with Banshee and Marcello could secure the prisoner, or theoretically Simone could secure him while the two Jedi ended things. Whatever way worked, so long as he got answers.

That was not exactly what she planned. As the Jedi yanked her towards him with the force, Veles chose that moment to pass out and so she went, against her own will straight towards the Jedi master.

She let out a short and surprised scream.

"Come on... You think I'm going to expose who I am so easily?" Circe threw her voice, making it sound as though she was well away from her actual location, on the other side of Zaren's current locale. "You must be mistaken..." Stealthily, she hid behind a large piece of rubble, aiming carefully as she prepared to fire at him.

"But then again, when I look at you, I don't see a revered Jedi Master.I don't see an empowered Lightsider plying his trade to protect innocence." Her voice seemingly resonated from all around him, a trick of the senses. "All I see is a wannabe. A Mace Windu wannabe who couldn't even get his head hairless enough to be as amazing as Master Windu was. Now... Ask me for courage. Ask me for courage one more force-damned time."

And with that, she pulled the trigger. Disruptor blasts would seem to come from multiple directions, though only one was real. The chances of that real blast hitting him were probable, but below the fifty percent margin, certainly. The odds were in his favor that he would avoid the blast.

Saki looked at the man as she stood there less hearing him speak and more hearing garbled words while she shook the cobwebs out of her head. She was looking at Rianna and wondering what she planned to do while her armor was on. She had the whips that could resist sabers but this was just looking like a dangerous situation and around her all she saw was that the Republic was faltering. "We should get somewhere." She didn't really know what they were going to do or be able to face him down, after this she was looking forward to get sitting in the ship and relaxing. These battles were getting to her.
