The Sabrathan Family

[Matriarch Sabrathan]

The Sabrathan Family is one whose members usually have a deep connection with the Force. For many years now however, the Family has fallen upon hard times, mainly with the passing of the former Patriarch and the subsequent withdrawal from the public of the former Matriarch.

Said title of Matriarch has thus been passed unto Thea Sabrathan, the oldest living heir who has big plans for the Sabrathan Family.


What I am looking for are those that have no problem with the seedier side of the galaxy, mainly smuggling, slavery, and likewise other illegal activities. Force sensitivity is not a limiting factor; though the family is known to come from a long line of Force Sensitive beings, and has been interbreeding with other species known to have a strong connection with the force for the expressed purpose of selectively breeding in a strong force connection. In other words, all are welcomed to the family regardless of Force Sensitivity and multiple species with the Sabrathan name are likely due to the interbreeding.


Just remember to keep it sensible and logical in terms of the species.

I've more or less established a sibling relationship, but our respective 'true' parents remain to be unclear. Silara believes her parents to be her biological parents, but her being raised by Sorrusians on Sorrus and simultaneously being a Vahla negates that theory - though she clings to it as truth, else her murdering of them would be less meaningful. I suppose that I would be open to discovering relation to this family, but my history and relationship with [member="Maja Vern"] as my sister is set in stone. My bio has a brief excerpt of my characters past, revolving the killing of her parents. The fact that they may or may not be the real deal is subject to plot.

I read your character bio, it was very interesting and enjoyable. In terms of familial relations with the Sabrathan Family, there are a few avenus that could be taken. With Thea being a Half-Sephi, and having a strong connection with the force, her lifespan will be long (she's already eighty-five and has out lived her human father). I couldn't see why not that she wouldn't have had children in her earlier years, so we could go the Grandparent/grandchild route. There's also the possibility of doing a niece or the more easily used cousin mantle as well.

There are multiple means of familial relation that could be used, the final choice I will leave to you both so you can choose what would be the best fit for your characters.

That would work, mainly due in part because the Zabrak species is Humanoid. My request of sensible and logical species choices was more directed at the non-humanoid species. For instance, about the only real reason a Wookiee would be in the family is if it was serving a life debt to a member.

It can also be said that in terms of acceptable species that would logically be a part of the family, many of the Near-Human species (Which Zabrak is listed under) would make sense for a character joining the Sabrathan Family.

If you want to be part of the Zambrano Family and the Sabrathan Family, then I think a distant cousin would work out. That way it shouldn't be in anyway affecting the potential coupling of Silara and Mordecai.
