Approved Lore The Scarlet Commune-Fleet of the Mvil'eil

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To make one of the larger commune-fleets for the Mvil'eil, and to provide a logical ic home for them.
  • Permissions: N/A.
  • Links: Character and Species.
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Fleet Name: The Scarlet Commune-Fleet
  • Classification: Nomadic fleet that consists of living space for a pacifistic species.
  • Affiliation: Loyal to the Mvil'eil as a whole, but they consist of a singular "commune-fleet".
  • Fleet Symbol: They do not have one, but their ships are left bare, save for a small sigil of reddish coloring usually on the sides and front of the ship.
  • Description: A roving band of diaspora ships that engage in barter, trade, and commerce for day-to-day survival. They are very much a pacifistic species and prefer to keep it that way.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Nomadic/roaming fleet.
  • Ports of Call: They tend to frequent Wild Space and the Outer Rim Territories, though they have been spotted as far inward as the Inner Rim.
  • Goals: To keep their species alive.
  • Reputation: Poorly-known and little-understood, best seen as cryptids more than anything.
COMPOSITION INFORMATION
  • Fleet Size: Huge.
  • Lead Ship: The Mathematically-Principled - Ajuur-class Heavy Cruiser (modified to be stripped entirely of weapons in favor of more living ship and "internal factory space").
  • Composition: Four Ajuur-class Heavy Cruisers, with a wide variety of civilian corvettes (around fifty-five) that are weaponless and modified fleet tending, replenishment, and living space vessels. They also have thirty frigates, which are again the same as before. They rely on being in large "shoals" for protection. These ships, while they do have basic shielding designed for travel, are a far cry from military-based shielding, and would likely see themselves torn asunder by a hail of fire exceedingly quickly.
MEMBERS
Custodian Ffff'liak Mik'lao, who serves as the foreign representative and technical "leader" of the fleet to outsiders.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
While precious little is known due to their lack of contact with the wider galaxy for the longest time, the Scarlet Commune-Fleet was produced around the time of the original Galactic Empire from a shattered remnant of a larger fleet. Steadily, while they have regrown to become a shadow of their former progenitor, they are still a shy race, and thus are only recently re-emerging back into the galaxy once more!

So, overall I think this submission looks fine, but I do have a suggestion:

While you mention that the fleet doesn't have any weapons because the ships have been stripped of them, you don't state whether or not they have any defensive capabilities like shields or cloaking devices. These are large ships and can likely take a beating, but there is still only so much damage a ship can take without proper shielding before they go kaput. They don't necessarily need to have shielding, if you don't want that, but it would be beneficial to add in that detail, especially for your fellow roleplayers who might interact with the Mvileil.

Thank you for pointing this out - I imagine they do have basic shielding (enough for travel purposes), but it's not military-grade shielding. Let me go add that - thank you for pointing it out <3.
