The Eternal Queen
It was stressful enough trying to heal the sick and injured without disruptions. While Feena was 'in the zone' there was very little that could rouse her from this state.
Very little.
But when you healed someone, you became connected to them, at least in a small way. You could feel it when you hard work came to an end. And right now, Feena was feeling it. The healers, her patients. When they died, Feena felt it like a stab in the chest. She had dipped outside during the chaos, gathering all she could to the safety of the dropship. But it was difficult. Each death caused her physical pain. She felt like she was dying.
By the time Isley arrived, she was hunched over one of her patients, trying to clean their wound, but all the while she was still reeling. Still hurting. She couldn't even answer him. There was no 'alright'. Not when so many innocents died. Why would he ask that?
