Description: After the loss of the Stealth X, the Jedi Starfighter Corps created the Jedi-class stealth fighter. Taking away some of the offensive capabilities of the Jedi-class heavy starfighter, the new range of stealth available to the Jedi Order was implemented, to provide a new class of starfighter for the Jedi to use.
Following years of recovery from injuries sustained at the Battle of Coruscant, Jedi Knight Ella Nova procured the use of a Jedi-class stealth starfighter from the Jedi Starfighter Corps, so that she could get around the galaxy. Learning of one of the weaknesses in the Jedi-class stealth fighter (they could not incorporate an astromech droid into the design), Ella contacted [member="Coren Starchaser"] to modify the stealth fighter she had procured.
On board the Tyrene, Ella docked with a Jedi-class stealth fighter and explained to Coren, that she required the fighter to be modified, so that she could have an astromech droid incorporated into the design. Sacrificing the stealth fighters speed and maneuverablity, Coren had Ella's fighter torn down and rebuilt at 3 meters longer in length, with a pod incorporated at the back of the fighter, near the cockpit, for an astromech droid to use and jack into the fighters systems.
With no other upgrades necessary, other than the incorporation of the astromech droid, Ella named the modified Jedi-class stealth fighter as the Sochi Ru, as tribute to her late Jedi Master.
