Spectres are the Elite forces of the Imperium. Many are said to be clones of a genetic donor long passed. The Infamous Republic Commando and war criminal RC 212. A known Slayer of Mandalorian and Ewok alike his traits were passed down to a select group of supercommandos, taught in guerilla and direct action warfare.
The Spectres all bear Black Katarn armor, as a homage to their donor and the long history of Commandos before him. Each is bloodthirsty villian, intent on destruction and winning.
The Spectres are mixed in with normal elite career soldiers, further augmenting their operational experience and making them an excellent force multiplier.
Due to the fact that cloning a clone was extremely diffuclt they rarely survive over twenty years, most aging prematurely to death or going mentally insane and inert.
This proves costly to the Emperor, forcing him to rely on the Non clone Spectres to pass down knowledge and Tactics until a better donor is found.
There are only twenty four units ever produced, arranged in teams of four with a non clone Spectre.
The Teams are as follows
1221- Sabatoge, Intelligence, Guerilla Warfare
1222- Direct Action Combat
1224- Assassination, Sabatoge, Slicing
1225- The fabled team, masters of it all.
