The Spice Job

"I know only what I've seen, honestly." Sehla stated as she set the crate off to the side of the cockpit. "His name is Adrien Nicklin. He's probably average in aspects of height and weight, and probably gained all of the followers he has thanks to money. I'm not sure if he has any men in his arsenal that are loyal because of who he is and not because of the money he possesses. He clearly is willing to lie to get what he wants, or doesn't trust anyone outside of his inner circle, if he even has one of those." The Togruta made her way back over to [member="Krest"] and sat down in her seat. "He does have quite a large amount of thugs, and a decent sized hideout, which I assume means that he has a lot of money behind him. That's about all I know."

She turned her focus to piloting the ship, moving from the spaceport out into open space, where she set the cooridinates for the jump to hyperspace.

"That'll be enough. My agents will be able to slip in unnoticed if all he has is hired thugs. And it won't be too hard to convince the thugs to run off. Money buys loyalty so long as they're the winning side. Otherwise, no price is worth certain death." Fear and intimidation would be key in this operation, both of which were in the Sith's arsenal. A grin formed on his lips as another thought came to mind. He cast a glance over to [member="Sehla Rys"] . "Torgruta are said to be rather poisonous. I know that's not true, but I doubt under educated thugs will. What say we mess with their heads? There should be some poison within that box gifted to you, and it wouldn't be difficult to convince them your bite is what killed a few."

Sehla snorted, chuckling lightly. "To me, where I know it is untrue, it sounds entirely ridiculous. I'll try not to laugh when we ereach that point then; wouldn't want to ruin the facade. Granted it means I'll be going all out, so I hope you're not squeemish. I would assume not, but it never hurts to double check." she leaned back in her seat, staring out of the cockpit at stars flying past them as they jumped to their destination. "It'll be nice though; it's been a while since I truly hunted." She thought on it for a moment, a slight grin across her face. She did miss hunting; it was something that was favored greatly in her village. Since Sehla was out working in the depths of space, hunting wasn't something she got to do much anymore, but if it meant that her family was able to take care of themselves back on Shili then it was worth it.

"Should only be another hour and a half or so before we reach Adriens hideout." The young Togruta stated before she stood up and made her way over to the supply crate he'd given her before. "You said there should be poison in here right...?" She opened it once more and began to paw through it, making sure to look through the box thoroughly to see what it contained whilst searching for the specific item.

"I haven't hunted in a while either, though I'm certain my way of hunting is very different from the Torgruta." Or maybe not. Zabrak too had fangs and claws, used to kill. Though, much less clean than the Torgruta for sure. Blue eyes would peer curiously over to [member="Sehla Rys"] as she searched through the box. "There should be, yes. Like I said, everything my field agents need to do their job, poisons included. Just be careful with it, aye?" He laughed before he turned his attention back to the lines that were streaking by. It would be a rather simple mission, but the perfect one to test an aspiring agent.

Sehla continued to peruse through the items in the crate in front of her until she found exactly what she was looking for; the poison! She set it down off to the side of the box to set her focus on putting some of the items back into the container, given she'd taken some out so as to make her search easier. The only items she left out were the blasters and the syringes of poison, because at least those two items she knew she could use as well as she'd rather have training with the other items before trying to figure them out. The young Togruta removed her current blasters from their holsters, setting them up on top of the crate, and replaced them with the new blasters she'd recovered from the box. Sehla stood, case of syringes in hand, and turned back towards the pilots seat, working the package onto her utility belt.

"Shouldn't be much longer now," The young woman commented as she plopped back into her chair, crossing her arms over her chest. She thought to herself for a few minutes before deciding to speak up an break the silence. "Why'd you offer me the job? Other than the benefits for yourself, I mean. Given the crate of goodies you gave me, I'm assuming that this is a full time position sort of job..." She was curious, given it only made sense for him to hire her for the current job and then no longer need her help, at least, that's what she'd expect a Sith lord to do? How was she to know, she'd never met one before, she was just guessing. Sehla glanced over at [member="Krest"], awaiting his answer.

"Aye, it's a full time job. The reason why is because of how you read the situation with the Force Hunters earlier. You didn't just jump in guns blazing, nor did you leave and abandon your job. You stayed, analyzed the situation, and acted accordingly. It's fitting for any agent to think like that, so I figured you'd be a good fit." He leaned back in his chair with his hands behind his head.

"I could use more quick thinkers like that. Agents who know how to act in a field as the situation changes instead of waiting for orders like a soldier."

Sehla thought for a moment, continuing to stare at him before she turned her head to the space ahead of them. "Well, you do what you can to make a living right? There's no sense in beating around the bush or whimping out if you can handle the situation." She gave [member="Krest"] one last sideways glance as the ship pulled out of hyperspace. "Thank you for the opportuninty. It's a lot more favorable than the random odd jobs that are handed out by the scum floating around the galaxy." The Togruta sighed before turning her attention to the planet ahead of them. She took a deep breath before reaching for her com, suddenly remembering that she was supposed to call in and let Adrien know she was "returning" his shipment to him.

"Varo." Sehla said, her attention on the com link in her hands as a burly man showed up in the holo.

"Ah, the for hire. Sehla right?" The man the holo inquired in his deep voice, "Done with the job already, yeah?"

"Yeah, I'll be round shortly to drop it off. Just wanted to let you know so I wouldn't get shot when I landed."

"We did warn you to do so, didn't we. Yeah. Alright. I'll let Adrien know you're here. Come on down!" And the holocall ended.

The young woman sighed, "And so it begins."

"Well, not until we get inside. For now, gear up and be ready. How many greeted you the last time?" Krest had pulled out his lightsaber, already turning some of the nobs to keep the blade in top condition. Not much needed to be looked over however and he got up from his seat to get to the ramp. Who ever would great them would be dealt with accordingly, but until they landed there wasn't much he could do.

"Maybe, five or six?" Sehla shrugged as she piloted the ship down towards the planets surface. "Are we mounting the attack as soon as we land or once we get inside? It's a surprise attack, but I'm just going out on a limb here to assume that 'when' the surprise attack happens 'shouldn't' be a surprise for us, yes?" She inquired, doing a mental checklist at the same time. Blasters.... Check. Poisons.... Check. Knife just in case.... Check. Sanity.... Out the window for sure. Everything's accounted for. The young woman took a deep breath and strapped on a calm demeanor as the ship docked on the outdoor landing pad, causing everything to rock back and forth for a moment. Once everything had settled, Sehla powered down the ship and went to join @Krest. She gave him one more glance as the ramp lowered itself before turning to exit the ship where Varo and at least another five of Adrien's thugs would be waiting.

Varo and the other men were waiting at the edge of the landing platform, all of them staring intently towards the ship, their faces either blank, or in what seemed to be a permanent grimace. Varo would be the only one to smile as the Togruta and Zabrak made their way towards the group, "Ah, Sehla. Welcome back. Quite the speedy return. Adrien will be most pleased..." Varo's smile would begin to fade slightly as he realized there was a second person with Sehla. "And, ah, who is your friend here, eh?" Varo perked an eyebrow in suspicion. "He wasn't along with you last time you came round...?"

Krest cast a glance around the small group that met [member="Sehla Rys"] and him, and found them rather lacking. Again it was a half dozen foes, but surprise and the lack of anti force training would make this relatively easy. "She picked me up along the way." It was all the Zabrak would say before he swung his arm forward. With it he unleashed a massive blast of the Force, sending the group spiraling through the air. His saber lit up immediately after, held in a single handed grip.

"Let's clean this up."

Sehla drew a blaster with one hand and her new knife with the other as she made her way forward. She stalked her way forward over the landing pad towards the stunned thugs. As they would all begin to stir, and try to get back on their feet, she’d pounce into action; executing one or two of them with a couple shots from her blaster while they were still down. She’d turn as one of them would advance on her, and as the thug raised his blaster to attack, Sehla’s knife would sink into his throat.

The thug choked on the blade for a second before his body fell to the ground. Sehla barely took a second to wipe the blood from her knife before blasterfire rang off around her. The Togruta ducked down behind a stack of crates that were near the edge of the landing pad. She peeked out from her hiding spot to see an angry Varo firing at her.
