Strengths:
[SIZE=10pt]· [/SIZE][+] Rough and Tumble: Because of its improved engines and weapon capabilities, Cassius has the ability to pilot the Stardust in combat situations and keep up with some starfighters out in the field.
[SIZE=10pt]· [/SIZE][+] Flying In Style: Cassius made absolutely sure that he would have everything he needed while flying around the galaxy in the Stardust, with refreshers, autochefs, and a fully-functioning shower.
[SIZE=10pt]· [/SIZE][+] Patches For All Your Tears: The Stardust has a more advanced medbay than one would see on a light freighter, with two bacta tanks large enough for one normal-sized Human in each.
Weaknesses:
[SIZE=10pt]· [/SIZE][-] She's No Hauler: Due to the port cargo bay being converted into a medical bay, there isn’t a lot of room for hauling freight, which wasn’t its intended purpose in the first place, but it makes it difficult to carry vital supplies if needed.
[SIZE=10pt]· [/SIZE][-] TLC: Since it’s a larger ship and has a lot of modifications, the Stardust requires a lot more attention than Cassius is used to giving a ship. He’s worked on his starfighters before, but he’s no mechanic, so if there were a serious issue with it, he’d have to take it to a professional that he trusts.
Description:
After finding himself more interested in archaeological projects and embarking on longer-term missions, Cassius Droma realized that the old U-wing he was flying wasn’t going to cut it. So, he began saving up for a light freighter. After pouring over numerous designs, he decided to go with the oldest YT-model from Corellian Engineering Corporation: the YT-1000. The smaller design and centered cockpit were the biggest features that sold Cassius on the vessel.
Rather than just buying a stock model, however, Cassius decided to spend a few more credits and outfit it with various modifications, including an extra quad laser turret on the ventral side, concussion missile launchers, and a wide-bar engine set for better speed and maneuverability. He also wanted a medbay included, so that way he could have a place where he or a friend could recover from injuries out in the field or on the move.
The Stardust Melody is truly meant to be Cassius’s home away from home, with full amenities to make sure he could live in relative comfort out in the field. While Cassius will still use his A-wing for combat, and shorter trips where he knows he’ll stay somewhere, the Stardust Melody is for the times where he just needs to get away.
