The Sublime Serana

Serana blushed. She quickly hid it though. Miles was the first person in years to make her blush. It surprised her. She breathed quietly and brought her head back up. "I am a bounty hunter. I am freelancing but I prefer the Empire. They are more my style."

Serana cursed a little. She might have blown any chance of a relationship due to the fact she prefers the dark Empire over the light Republic.

Miles thought he saw a flush on Serana's cheek, but it faded. [Must've been the lighting or something. Empire huh?]
"Well as it appears, I may be out of a job soon. And being someone of your caliber" He looked her up and down. "I was wondering if you'd like some company"

Serana couldn't help but blush even more at him. She was attracted already. She nodded. "I'd love some company. I'm not leaving for awhile but when I do you are welcome to come."

This time he was certain he saw a flush on her cheek. Nyos held his hand as a gesture to let her walk ahead of him as they walked around. Nyos felt this tug at him from the inside. This woman, this bounty hunter, she was something different than any woman he'd met. He has fought many hunters before but that was because of an order.
Miles was lost in his mind, lost in her eyes.

Serana stood up and started to walk with him. As they walked out into the night of Coruscant she smiled. The Galactic City was her least favorite world, but she loved the night.

As the two walked aimlessly around she decided to started some conversation. "I love night. Night time is so peaceful. Even on this busy world, night time brings the noise and busy level down a few notches."

Serana looked over to Miles, who was only a foot away from her. She smiled at his face. Something about him...

HK didn't get much into way of things, he folded his arms behind his back, just watching the chaos and miserable failure of Vitor at wooing a lady. He witnessed many such events although he never understood the meanings behing them. He didn't even moved at mention of the bounty hunter wanting to set him on fire, it's just something he was also experienced with. The only thing he did managed to say before following Vitor out the pub was,
"I am not his droid. He is my chauffeur."
Outside the club he patted Vitor's shoulder.
"Are you alright? That was what I believe you inexperienced organics call 'Cra-ra-ra-rash-and-Burn'"
He said with a slight stutter.

Miles saw a glimmer in Serana's eye as see looked at him. He could feel a light breeze on this cool night. Miles enjoyed the nightlife as well, considering 3/4 of all his missions were night ops. "It does bring a sort of calm after a long busy day. Seeing the lights of the city are quite interesting aren't they?"
Miles could almost reach out and grab Serana. She was close, closer than he thought she'd be. Miles stopped by a balcony and looked out over the city when his com lit up on his hip. "Hello?...What?!...damnit!!...Tell them to shove it, sir!" Miles hurled his com over the edge. His worst fear had com true. He'd just been discharged from the Republic Army for his mistake. He composed himself for Serana's sake, and tried to put on a smile. [What the hell will I do now]

Serana could hear the worry in his voice and see it even more in his. "What's wrong?" Serana stopped dead in her tracks. "I won't move until you tell me." Serana was always one to get into others business but she thought it was much needed. Well, most of the time.

"It seems as though I am in need of new employment" "I've just been discharged from the Republic Army for getting civilians killed in my last mission."
Miles looked into Serana's eyes, they knew he was upset before he spoke. She was something. He regained his calm, and stood straight as he thought of what he would do next.

Serana, not thinking straight put her hand in his. "I am always looking for crew," she said with a light tone. She leaned in, unable to control herself. Thankfully she stopped herself from going any farther. She was inches from him his mouth now. Almost kissing.

The bar on Coruscant was full. As usual of course. Various locals, a few smugglers, some up-to-no-goods and a few innocent people. Great, another sumptuous day at the club.

The young genius (of 20 years) entered, calmly but surely. His lightsaber was dangling from his belt, plainly visible to all. This was more or less of a challenge to any asshat who was going to pick a drunk fight. He wasn't a Sith, but Wolan loved violence. Heck, 7 years spent as a general in a Rattataki warband makes one extremely drilled to violence. Even more so, his will was comparable to that of an Iridonian Zabrak. He was tortured for a month, and still held firm. He was ready for anything.

As he entered, he saw the company of people discussing about a certain mercenary thing. He'd been temporarily let off the leash in the Jedi Order, so he wondered what good he might do, exploring the universe a little.

The young Rattataki Jedi had studied many, many subjects, ranging from linguistics to agricultural engineering to economics. Wolan loved those two last ones. He wanted to join the Jedi AgriCorps, until he realized it was for washups and misfits. No going there. He did serve under them for a while, learning engineering (and not actual planting) from the great Boolon Murr, the foremost healer and biologist of the Jedi Order. It was fun, at least. As for economics, he ran an entire treasury on Rattatak, and an entire nation for a year. He loved commerce for some reason, even though it went against the Jedi Order.

He came to sit somewhere near Ms. Williams, ordering a Rattataki blast, something he was more than accustomed to.

Miles felt the surge in his pulse as Serana got closer. She halted at the last second, but Miles pulled her hand and kissed her passionately. He just met her and he felt like this was the right thing to do, he knew it was right. A bounty hunter and a soldier; who'd of thought that would be a combination that could produce this.

As she broke from @[member="Miles Varden"], she couldn't help but smile. She was in love. She had just met him and she was in love. "Thank you," Serana replied quietly. For the first time in her life she wasn't just happy. She was speechless.

@[member="Serana Williams"]
For what? Miles felt this flutter in his stomach as Serana pulled back. This was new to him. He'd spent so much time in service to the Republic, he'd no time for experiencing the joy of others. He didn't want it to end. But he remembered he had to report to his hearing for his court-marshal for sentencing, even though he knew the outcome. I must go, I need to get what gear I can before they seize it back. He gave Serana the location of his domicile and his com data so she could reach him whenever. I'll hail you when I'm done, if you're still here, I'd like to come with you. He kissed her once more, squeezing her close.

Serana felt warm while she was in his arms. He was a good foot taller. She felt safe. While pressed against his chest she spoke. "I am getting together a crew. For a ship. It's gonna be big. A mercenary company." Serana squeezed him tighter as he began to let go. She didn't want him to let go. "I would like you to come with me. I can't manage it on my own."

If all goes well this morning, I will. Being with you, fighting by your side, would be my honor. Miles reluctantly released his hold on Serana. He had 20 minutes to report in and his station was half way across the city. He bid her a mournful goodbye and headed for his speeder.

Serana stood there alone. Only for a second before she called Vitor over her comm so he could pick her up. And so she left with Vitor. The two had a big day. They would lay eyes on their ship.

The Bluehawk.
