The droid brain is paired with his consciousness. So, combat mode is something that takes over his will, but he can speak through the droid perfectly fine.

Name's Draco Vereen, and I was born on Eriadu. I've been a gangster, a mercenary, hired muscle, and most recently a business man, though by what twist of fate that worked out for I have no idea. I own ArmaTech Combat Systems and work Acquisitions for them. I'm a gunslinger with special forces training and experience as part of Eriadu's Special Weapons And Tactics division of the PDF. I enjoy guns, armor, and long walks on the beach, and I am looking forward to joining the Galactic Republic Military.

I need drive and aspirations, I need comrades I can trust and people to watch my six when I'm slugging in the mud. That's why ultimately, I came here seeking it. Give me orders and let me get to work.
