It is with pleasure I introduce myself formally. I am Hawke Katamirth, please just call me Hawke though. My last name is only for the super formalities.
I never fought in the last war, abandoning the Empire when things went from bad to worse at Togoria. I've been welcomed aboard as a Commander in the Navy by Jack Harkness himself. And he's all his confidence in me. I was never the oppressor like my leaders and old comrades were. Always I took the diplomatic route over combat. And though I have traded rounds with many of you at Valen, I hope we work through the past and towards the future. I'll work with you in rebuilding the shattered remains of The Empire and bringing them as peacefully in to cooperation with The Republic, or to stand on their own as an independent world. Whatever the case, I will serve with distinction and a calm mind. And hope to do so in jolly cooperation with the rest of you all.
