G'day all!
I'm Jack Navarro, a Lorrdian who's interested in joining the Starfighter Corps.
The idea would be for him to start being taught how to pilot a starfighter, fly a few engagments, then be requested to transfer as a Fleet officer because of the tactical ability/spatial awareness he shows in his fights. Any takers?

Sadly the navy is a bit understaffed right now it seems. Me and a few other people are ensigns looking for superior officers, but haven't really found much yet.Jack Navarro said:

Superiors can be NPCed, but I'll probably make a higher ranking Naval officer once I get accustomed to how the Republic Navy works, probably either a Commander or Captain, with either a frigate or cruiser, depending on rank.

If you haven't been trained per se... we could do something looking at our first days, how we got ear-marked for different branches (starfighter/ship), and then we can catch up in a bar every so often to exchange stories. Maybe we even participate in the same minor engagements which we can write?

I'm with Havoc squad and hate space flight. Won't be going through the Naval Academy anytime soon.
It's possible to do it as a past RP of you want though.

Hey feel free to jump in on what we are trying to do with the structure as having a Fighter Squadron will open up a new set of opportunities for RP and the Republic Navy as a whole. You could either set up as running escort/fighter support for the Capital Ship or once we get to a good point of PVP rp against other factions try your hand against other Fighter squadrons.
At any rate I am sure we can think of some good stuff for you to do.
