Valery felt a little bit bad about bringing it up, as it had been just a stray thought on her mind ever since their mission to Sleheyron. She also wasn't quite sure how he'd feel about her ability to sense what was going through him almost at any point, but his blush at least convinced her that it didn't bother him too much. Still, she forced herself to be careful about reading his emotions — she valued that bit of privacy greatly.
"That makes sense and given what I've seen and felt from you, I think your understanding is accurate enough." His precision when it really mattered, the way his decisions played out... she knew it couldn't all be a coincidence. To some extent, the Force was on his side as well, which only made her wonder more about how her bond to him would affect that.
"When you got bitten by that beast on our last mission... I felt it. Almost as if my own arm was being torn apart by it," she admitted carefully. The last thing she wanted was for him to worry that his injuries really affected her badly, but technically, they really could. "I just... wanted to make sure it wasn't like that for you. I've learned to handle and control things like that, but it can be very overwhelming."
"If you ever feel something stronger, please tell me okay?" she asked with pleading eyes.
