Description: The Sword of Colt is a katana designed and forged by Darth Novus, also known as Colt. It is designed to be used in place of a lightsaber, thus the alchemy done to it makes it lightsaber resistant, so that it can hold it's own against lightsabers. It is a heavy blade, but it is sharp enough to leave lasting damage or open a wound so infection can spread inside of the wound itself.

The blade has it's weaknesses however. Force Light has been known to destroy the alchemical gift. Over time the blade will become blunt and will need to be sharpened once more before it can do any lasting damage. The silver alloy in the blade can warp, thus the blade can become misshaped and dangerous to the owner of the sword, not just the person being attacked.

Overall it is a basic, hand crafted, Sith sword and sheath.

Ysalmir can nullify said effect and gift

The change in a sith sword is a physical one, in that the actual sword itself is lightsaber resistant after-the-fact, so a ysalamir field would not effect that particular effect. If there was some kind of enchantment, i.e; burn on contact, it would stop that particular ability while inside the field, but it would not undo the lightsaber resistance of the blade or its ability to reflect blaster bolts.
