Trying to find something wrong with derailing a thread or trolling for the sake of trolling. This is the internet.

Dude, if you're trying to find a justification for more trolling of RP threads, you won't find it here. There's enough that goes on with invited and entitled parties, there's no need to add any allowance for party crashers into the rules.

There are plenty of people out there who willingly welcome chaos on Chaos, feel free to write with them. And leave alone the ones who aren't interested, they have the right to write their stories how they choose.

I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt, that you thought in some odd way that the rescinding of the approval from faction admins to the addition of a third party to an invasion scenario or dominion could lead to more 'interesting' stories. Your recent posts have made it abundantly clear however that is far from your intent. Your intent is simply to create a chaotic and ultimately more stressful environment in a place that isn't intended to be either of those things.

You came here thinking that you would get support for blatant disregard of narrative. It isn't going to happen. You can state as many times as you wish that the third party needs clearly defined objectives, well you just outlined in your first sentence of your last response what those objectives are. Derail and troll threads for no reason other than, 'Meh. Felt like it.' My advice here is simple and can be summed up in three words as to your less than well thought out suggestion...

[member="Lao Tzu"], This site has done everything and more that it can to prevent trolling within RP threads. As much as there are a number of people who would be fine with an unknown element added to threads, or potential plots or stories, or having threads with PVP for the sake of winning a fight, and not for story, That is not what this site is about.

For the past Six years, I have seen this site change from a splinter group of a website long ago, to its on dedicated site that literally tops the Google Search list for "Star wars RP" In that time, rule changes have been made for the betterment of the Majority. Having literal thousands worth of accounts on the site, means that most of them, need to be appeased. Most, don't like that unknown element and wish to have a story written for the pure fact of writing a coherent story for the story alone. Not to win a battle, or to win a duel to make a resume of all the people they have fought.

What you are suggesting, is going backwards.

I know for a fact that what you are suggesting will find no light of day, or bare any fruit. Many people, myself included, would love to have this kind of setup. However, the site as a whole, cannot sustain itself off of the drama, salt, and the literal Chaos that something like this would cause. Out of all of the reports every year, most of them are likely due to discrepancies of a RP thread taken too seriously, or someone playing god, or someone entering a thread when they shouldn't have.

At the current state of the Site, its not going to happen.
