The Thread Where HK Has His Way With Connor [Connor Harrison]

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Connor Harrison"],

After the Battle of Skor,

By the time Connor would come to from his fight with HK he would find himself inside a simply cells, surrounded by three durasteel walls and a force field entrance made from purple buzzing energy. He would have been stripped from his Ren armor and robes, left only in what he wore underneath, or perhaps stark naked if for some reason it was his preference to go into battle with nothing underneath his armor. No judgement.

However, if that was the case it would perhaps make things a bit more awkward on his companions, the two stormtroopers captured by the droids along with him, their weapons and armor taken away, just as with Connor, left only in their black under-armor pieces. There would also be guards, a couple of droids forged out of some black metal, resembling armored skeletons in appearance, holding a couple of weapons similar to electrostaves, facing the cell while standing by a wall across the force field. The machines watched them, silently and motionlessly, giving little to no privacy for the prisoners. Should any of them try talking to the droid guards it would be quickly apparent that the machines were not particularly chatty or they could not speak altogether.

Other than that the prisoners would be given water and food in form of bland but filling MRE foodstuff blocks delivered by some sort of a quick mouse droid. However under the ever present white luminescent light it might be hard to tell how long they were kept in there, at least a day, maybe a week.

Either way, after some time the door opposite to their cell finally opened and the familiar visage of HK stepped in along with his Greycloak guards and additional skeletal droids,

"Those two, stormtroopers."

He motioned to Connor's prisoner companions,

"Restraint them and you know what to do."

The droid said menacingly as the Greycloaks and guards nodded, stepping up to the force field.

Connor, thankfully, always had the tunic on under the Ren plates and greatcoat, so his dignity was intact. Just.

The transition from Skor to…wherever this prison was, had been tough, and he’d certainly felt like a prisoner of war. The troopers with him didn’t say much, and nor did he. Without the commanding visage of the Ren, and without their armour, mortality was the only thing linking them as they looked more than equal.

However, he did offer basic words of support and resilience in facing their captors.

The containment cell was basic, and semi-comfortable for the time there. Food and drink was dire, but then it was an acquired taste.

As the captor [member="HK-36"] made his return to them to restrain the two troopers, Connor looked to them without showing emotion, and stood to greet the droid.

"Thank you for the hospitality. Not exactly 5 star but it’ll do."

He nodded to the troopers who looked to him for guidance.

"Where are you taking us."

"Taking them."

HK corrected Connor as the force field was shut down and the Greycloaks extended their arms, activating their own grav gloves to telekinetically restrain the soldiers, to force their arms to fold behind their backs in invisible grip as the guards stepped in, brandishing their electrostaves, a couple would train them on Connor, staying to the sides of the cell, another couple would move to grab the troopers from behind and lead them out of their confinement.

"You are staying with us, for now. How much do you know about Abregado and the laws implemented under my rule regarding prisoners of war?"

HK asked as he stepped in as well, passing the troopers, another guard would bring in two chairs, one being left by the droid, another by Connor,

"Sit."

The droid motioned to the chair, giving an order more than asking out of politeness.

Through his stay in the prison Connor would be able to hear constant distant hum of engines and rocking from time to time, that should have been enough to tell him that he was still aboard a ship.

Connor looked at the troopers, standing his ground and doing nothing to warrant aggression. His eyes moved from the troops, to the guards, to the droid.

Then, the chair.

"Abregado."

He sat.

"Never heard of it, so it can't be that important. Please. Enlighten me."

And it was true, he hadn't heard about this group...or planet...or government.

"Important enough that your life now rests in our metal hands."

HK quipped at Connor's answer,

"But it is true, unless you grew up in the Core Worlds, you are a pirate, a merchant, or a droid refugee you would probably not hear of Abregado. It is a system in the Core, once it has been described as backwards, a paradise for smugglers. It became a fortress world of the Protectorate when Omega Pyre begun in that region, and then it was given to me, I brought industry as other droids flocked around me for safety and equality, and my mercenaries brought credits to support the system, hunting pirates to protect the local hyperlanes, fighting Sith in numerous battles. Now we are more prosperous than Coruscant, considering how I managed to spare my system from the One Sith occupation."

The droid explained in a brief history lesson,

"What is more important, and you will be probably glad to hear this, is that we put the blame of war crimes on officers rather than soldiers. Your stormtrooper comrades have been pardoned and will be sent back to First Order space on computer controlled shuttle. You on the other hand, well you will have to speak with me first before we officially decide your fate."

Perhaps the machine was sending the troopers to their death in the end, seeing how FO proceeded to execute portion of the soldiers who fought on Skor for disobedience, perhaps in a way the droid saved Connor's life by capturing him instead of leaving him to face court martial for calling an authorized orbital strike, as brief and contained as it was. HK reached to his side then, pulling out a lightsaber hilt Connor would find familiar, the trophy machine collected from him,

"Most of you Ren are rejects and outcasts, spoiled children who have been told "no" one too many times so you turn to the dark side. Hasty, unfocused, usually just swinging around like you are chopping down a tree in hopes that one of those hits lands true, like your cyborg friend I fought on Illum, the one that looks like Old Vader. Well, "fought" is a strong word, I parried his hits and then he proceeded to run away from me."

The machine recounted his encounter with Kyrel,

"You were different, however, it was almost like you knew what you were doing, or at least knew how to properly hold a lightsaber. You had proper training in the arts outside of Ren, is that right?"

HK turned the lightsaber over in his hand,

"It seems that you have skipped the lesson about how a proper lightsaber should be build, they do not have side exhausts you know."
