- Projection of Authority and Power: Built on a raised dais, the Sith Emperor's throne was designed to evoke submission in those who were brought before it. By forcing them to look up at the Emperor, they were placed on a lower footing while the Emperor held the advantage of the high ground.
- Uncomfortable Seating: The seat and arms of the Throne of Dominance are hard and cruel, with no cushioning present on any surface. This was deliberate, as the Sith Emperor held the belief that the Emperor of the Sith should not be seen cavorting with unnecessary pleasures when holding court in any official capacity.
- Too Big For The Average Joe: The throne is massive, built large enough to accommodate the Sith Emperor's titanic two-point-five-meter tall frame and reinforced enough to easily bear way over three-hundred kilograms in weight. A normal Human would find himself engulfed by the throne's sheer immensity.

Known throughout the cosmos as Darth Carnifex, Emperor and Dark Lord of the Sith. They call him the Butcher King, the Black Iron Tyrant, the Scourge of a Hundred Systems. The names they bequeath upon him are almost as infamous as the deeds that inspired them, the legacy of his nefarious brood known far and wide across the galaxy.
His rule dominates an Empire with a carbon-jacketed gauntlet, his control over the people near-absolute. Nothing else symbolizes his authority more than the throne upon which he sits, a horrid monolithic edifice to tyranny and the Dark Side of the Force.
It is called the Throne of Dominance in part due to one of the Emperor's many cognomens and because of the dark exterior that surrounds it. When one is brought before his Imperial Majesty, they are made to kneel within sight of the throne, forced to crane their neck to look upon his dark magnificence as the unwavering gaze of his silent Crownguard pierce through them.
