The Fear Monger
Metus listened to his master's words attentively, understanding the wisdom in them as he slowly stood up and brushed himself off. Of course the laughter was what stood out the most, since at this point he thought his master almost incapable of doing it, trying to keep the look of surprise off of his face while speaking. Thinking of just what kind of life he would live if always being hunted by challengers also struck him, and firmly lodged his master's words into his head.
"...I must understand the full ramifications of my actions before I carry them out. Of course my master, I was foolish to even try to kill you. Even still, I assume I won't have to hold back in judgement of my actions when trying to kill your old master correct? If there is something that I should know of them and their abilities it would be prudent to tell me."
