TRAINING LIGHTSABER
The Training Variation of Lightsaber is a tool constructed purely for students of the force not yet ready to take on the responsibilities or otherwise maintaining the premise that they need not a weapon capable of killing. Constructed from lightsaber components typically found within the Academies and Enclaves of the Jedi Order, these pieces are not hard to come by nor construct by hand as the Jedi themselves teach their students how to create the real deal nearing the end of their Apprenticeships.
These Lightsabers are typically commissioned and created by those of the Jedi Knight Body of the Order or otherwise those of the role of Jedi Artisan, for the use and introduction to the Saber Arts for younglings and inexperienced newcomers to the Order.
Set with only two levels of frequency or strength of the energy blade itself, these Lightsabers are set by default to low settings that younglings might learn to conduct themselves within controlled environments and settings in order to keep both sides of a sparring match safe from harm. Upon contact, low settings will result in a sting enough so to warrant caution and responsibility around their application whilst not injuring the student in any dire condition.
High Frequency has an increased strength of energy arcing throughout the blade that will result in a burn to the skin and result in the need for bacta application. These burns while nothing in the way of the first degree, will leave a mark if not tended to following such a training session and is only for the Senior Padawan and those given permission to utilize such a frequency by their Mentors (Jedi Knights or Masters).

- Visually indistinguishable from a normal lightsaber, and can therefore be used to intimidate or threaten.

- Immobilizing Foes takes a great amount of effort, setting to high frequency and aiming for the face being the best option though otherwise packs too little a punch for real combat scenarios.
