The Training of a Twi'lek Sith

Tal went to bed after he managed to hover for a entire minute but that had been the most of what he had reached. It had been his anger at his inability that had pushed him to do that. It was infuriating that he couldn't control the force like others, He was great with the blade but terrible with the force. He needed to focus his anger to embrace it. He hated his incompetence.

Tal made his way to the bed he had woken up in, figuring that was where he could go, It was late and he didn't want to be found off his guard again. He needed to sleep to make his body not hurt so much, as his muscles still screamed when he moved. It was going to be easy to sleep he thought, as his muscles ached. It was sort of funny that he had fallen asleep in mere moments.

Day 2

"Wake him." With that immediately his slaves went to work. He watched as they collected their weapons, from shivs to actualy knives, to anything they could grip within their palm, proceeding to attack his apprentice. He expected him to slaughter them like cattle, though that would be up to his resolve. They weren't exactly anything special, as they were mere men and women, and on other less than should be rare occasions of children. There were about 20 total, and he expected nothing less than 20 dead by the time he was fully awake. If not, then he wasted 20 perfectly good slaves on nothing... or perhaps just one potentially (although if this happened not so) good apprentice. He smiled devilishly as the first of his plans this day began.

It was odd, he had a unusual sense of his surroundings. It was then that he noticed people around him, he had woken up barely, to find 20 people lunging at him. They had knives and other implements and he didn't really keep track, He found himself clearing them all and ending at the other of side of the room with a jump, that he had used the force to help himself do. He put aside his amazement and drew his saber, It wasn't fair, He was good at one thing beyond all, his saber skills, and with his better commanding of the force, calling up his anger at his own master and at everything for his humiliation. He dodged and weaved as he cut through the chattel with his red blade. Blood was everywhere, and he cared not for who attacked him they had attacked him and deserved death. There was nothing else to consider. He was awake now... and smiled as he cut power to his lightsaber and walked back out to the main chamber, curious if his master was here or not.

His throne facing opposite to his Apprentice, an almost ever present smile was maintianed upon the fat and bulbous face of the massive Darth. He slaughtered the obviously helpless without remorse, a trait most admirable. Though, that was only a warm up. Nothing of any particular importance into the training of his Apprentice, but it would keep him sharp, esspecially as the opposition became more difficult each morning, where he is expected to execute them in the same speed as was done this day. Even when one approached supernatural skill, there was always ALWAYS room enough to be better... in whatever meaning a particular person may take as being 'better'.

As his Apprentice approached him, he spoke loudly. "Kneel." He commanded. Today would be a day of difficulty, and trial. He waited patiently as he waited for the presense of his Apprentice to be knelt before him, in a most satisfying way before he continued.

"Your remorsly execution of those slaves was most excellent. But that was merely your breakfeast. Did you eat it well?" He asked with a chuckle, "Don't speak." He warned him quickly. "Now that you are awake and well rested, and a full stomach presumably, you have a mission to undertake. You shall go the the Valley of Golg and penetrate the Tomb of Dathka Graush. From there, you shall bring me back a relic. Inside you shall find a most welcoming suprise. If you happen upon the King's tomb, reach into his chest and pull out the heart, and bring it to me..." He said, dismissing him wordlessly. Little did he know what he would find within the tomb, and whether or not the crystal heart even resided within that sacred tomb was a different stroy entirely. Truthfully, the mighty Darth had no idea, but its power would be most interesting if obtained. Though he knew it would not be so, as the Jedi hundreds of years past have since surveyed the crypt and turned up with nothing. Perhaps he had a lucky Apprentice, he hoped.

Tal, nodded, and turned, not even knowing where to begin, he had to go into a tomb.. and find a relic.. and not any tomb but the tomb of Dathka Graush, Well he supposed it was do or die time. He hid his groan as his muscles still screamed though not as much as before. Tal made his way out of Darth voracitos's chambers, it was time to venture into unknown teritory, he wondered if he should go alone or not, but why give another a shot at his glory? He should learn from his masters greed, he would go alone. Tal just needed supplies and he could head out. He had read much in the library, including the location of most of the tombs.

Tal Lom, would please his master and find what he was looking for. It just meant he would have to be as cunning and dangerous as ever. He toyed with his saber, holding it to him with the foce rather than its loop. He found practice did make perfect and he needed to be as perfect as he could for his master. Tal went and gathered a pack of food, and other neceisites. He would have to be careful, and make sure not to waste them.

It had been a few hours and now Tal faced the desert that was most of korriban. He sighed, it was no or never.

It was a long and dangerous trek to the tomb, mostly due to the weather. He had made it though, his clothes, full of dirt as was his skin, he didn't know he he would be seen as a red twil'k anymore, he laughed to himself as he approached the tomb. The giant door, broken open from looters long before. He was sent here to try to find what so many before him had tried to find. He took lumbered step after lumbered step, up the harrowing stairs. It was funny, that a place could give off such an aura, The darkside was strong here. He held his lantern, above his head with the force as she walked forward. into the hole, the first layer of traps, evident with the bones that littered the ground long disarmed. He knew that most of the tomb had been discovered.

The false burial chamber, and the halls, full of nothing but dust and wind. It was so quiet so mind shatteringly quiet which was when the mynocks attacked, Tal cursed as he dodged them, his lightsaber out instantly, he tried something different, he had been praticing on his way here, using the force, he was able to manifest it. It was glourous that he threw it against the wall, its bones snapping as he stabbed the next with his saber, before cutting the next in half. He was better at one thing, his saber combat. He like to know things, so the two things he had devoured in his self training was books and saber mastery. It was quiet again, and so Tal sat and meditated, trying to sense for anything that would clue him in on the intent of this place as he knew that searching with his eyes wasn't going to find him anything, he needed the aid of the darkside, and luck.. lots of luck to find the way to the next layer of this tomb.

It was strange, but he felt himself drawn towards a section of wall, it was nothing special just like the rest. He felt out with the force, when he found it, some kind of device that when he applied the force to it, the section of wall vanished. He couldn't believe it, but that just meant that he now had to worry, sure that many deaths awaited him. He sent the lantern in ahead of him, noting several traps hiding traps, he lifted himself, and worked hard to avoid them. It was funny, that because of these traps it took him painfully long, as he tried to avoid and disable them all. He soon found himself in another dead end, he sighed and got to work and soon the room was devoid of traps but devoid of a new place to move as well. He was stuck, again. He would meditate on it, absorbing the Darkside into him, He knew that he would find the way in eventually, of course he didn't know that he was being watched, that very moment, some creature biding its time.

Tal, didn't know why him but he seemed to find yet another way out, this time the floor opened up but as he was about to enter, a Sithspawn attacked, He almost lost his life right there detecting him last minuite, Tal just jumped out of the way, using the force. He was glad that his master had forced him to use the force, to establish an connection. His red saber hummed to life as if second nature, as he lost track of his foe, it was tough, it seemed to be just out of his vision, just detecting it in time to save his own skin, Tal couldn't do much.
That was when he thought he had it but it was a feint, and Tal was on the ground, He cursed... that damn thing was mocking him. Tal, raged, reaching out with his rage he found the thing and began an fury of attacks at it. He lost himself in the emotion of it all, yet his muscle memory allowed him to easily do his moves, as he moved like a well oiled machine. Tal struck a hit, and then another, and another, taking a nick here and there himself, he knew he needed to end this before the thing learned his tricks which is when he thrust, the saber pierced the things chest, which is when Tal to ensure it was dead, carved out the things entire chest, He shuddered. as he sank to his knees, sweat and blood gathering on his skin.

Tall began to tend his wounds, before finally venturing down the stairs, taking care to send his lantern first, and avoiding and disabling traps, he just hoped he could last, this place was much more massive than he had ever thought.

The funny thing about being alone in a crypt was tshe places your mind wondered, he of course had to keep his mind on the task at hand but he found himself thinking about what led him here. To think he was where no one had tread for years.. if not decades or more. He was breathing air that had been here since before his master was even born. Tal, ventured forward, carefully pulling back his foot, he had almost killed himself again he cursed. This place was good. He admired the skill that must of went into these traps, but he needed to get further in.
Tal, noted the hall way wideing up, he had made it, it was a room full of treasures.. and death. He had made it.. of course he knew that this was yet another false room, He could tell, in his study, he had found that the owner of this tomb had very exact tomb requirements, and this room didn't meet them. He sighed curious how he could get any of this out. would have to ensure that no one knew about this, as it was his. Tal, kept what traps he could intact, he didn't want it to be easy should anyone follow him. It was going to be a long day, his body still sore, but it was an now soreness that he had seemed to just accept, as part of him.

Tal's progress, though he could not physically see it, seemed to be of satisfaction. Though he walked aimlessly through the crypt, nonetheless he managed to survive this far. Unfortunately his skills in deduction seem to be... slow. Not hampered, but not as quick as he'd like. That though, should be expected, as he is merely a thick headed apprentice who knows only the art of the blade, rather than the art of the force. By deduction, he meant the ability to follow the path's of those before him, to stumble upon the correct path.

How did he think this? Well through the force of course, despite his inability to observe his apprentice on his task so far away, it wasn't overly difficult to sense him, and judge upon his level of progress. He was getting deeper into the ancient tomb, which was good, as he was getting ever closer to the center, the only place he could possibly deduct that the crystal heart would be. Though of course, he wouldn't be the first to think of that.

There was one area he was most surprised in however that he did not expect, and was almost forced to be proud of. The fact that he had taken only himself to under take this expidition. What would his motives be to go alone? Into a tomb whom to those who are aware of it, has the legend of possessing a most startling treasure, that although valuable, was deadly to any and all who dared approach it. Even Masters could easily be overcame. He had a shred of faith in his apprentice, though he didn't expect him to bring the heart too him. It was either already looted long ago, or simply impossible to one so lowly as Tal. Regardless of the outcome, if his apprentice survived (which he hoped he did, as if he didn't it would be most disappointing to not only lose something of his, but not gain the goal it was tasked to complete as well), he would become stronger for it.

(OCC: I will control NPC's from now on, as I have a special surprise for you coming.)

( ok :D )
Tal sighed... It was interesting that he didn't want to be here so long.. but it was now or never... he activated the door he had found and another stair way opened up.. down futher it seemed. He just hoped he didn't end up in some pit of lava or something... Tal, tread carefully, it was sure.. that someone loved traps as they were everywhere. Why were there so many damn traps.. that was when he activated one... and he had to quickly jump ahead,, and by some miricle didn't land on another one as a blade shot out.. that would of killed him. Tal needed to be careful... He walked down yet another dark coridor. It seemed that was all he ever got..
