She's right. Not that Krest is a pure good guy or what not, but I do have to take it.

But she is right. Kind of boring. You need to spice it up like... You slaughter innocent people for a alchemical weapon but after obtaining it you use it to kill the leader of the city you are in, destroy the weapon, and then you reveal that you wanted the sword because it was used by your mortal enemy to slay your father years earlier.

That is a very intense plot. But Krest isn't a main character anymore. He'd be more like the mortal enemy who used the blade to kill your father because he was actually your fathers brother, and your father killed his wife.

If you want a PC to be the Republic Officer that gave Trixter his injuries, I think Slate could be a good candidate. It could open up very interesting RP opportunities. Our characters could have a nemesis relationship. (Really trying to not make a reference to the relationship between Batman and the Joker...)

Just thought it could be a fun idea.
