So does that mean he and I will just make a hyperdrive for you then? What speed are you aiming for? And, no real offense, but IC what ties does Oka have to either tech or Regal for his input on the hyperdrive? I mean unless I need another person for the rp I could crank out the dev thread and say Rendili did it for Regal and used their own old model as a baseline or something. I just mean IC I doubt Stardrive would let a random person in on their production unless he has a significant role with Regal/Xyhn to be there as a representative or is an expert.

But why would we let you in and see it when its probably within the shipyads out of sight to keep with Xyhn's confidentiality policy? Rendili Stardrive is a large company with experts and facilities. Its not like I need to put a group together to make the thing from scratch. I can see either a knowledgeable individual on the subject or a representative of Regal getting involved, but not a random passerby.

Well your character has no expertise on technology and has no connection to Regal or Xyhn that would warrant a company owner to allow the exception. Literally the amount of IC contribution would be conversation. . . . .

If this were an expedition for a part or a force related relic or technology and a forcer was needed I could see it. Do you have any other characters aside from Oka? But then you said it has to be Oka for later rps with Xyhn. . . .so I really have no idea.

You're not even Republic or Wraith Squadron anymore either so even just running it as a delivery thread under the threat of a pirate attack doesn't work with you.

Anyways, if that proves too much, I'd say do a thread with [member="Aldous Hofmann"], but then [member="Camellia Swift"] wouldn't be able to contribute to all four unless all three of you did ten posts each in the last thread on the list.

Entitled or not doesn't mean he actually has a role or can help IC to warrant it. If he did the sapphire work with Xyhn though how well would you actually say Xyhn might rely on him? We could likely still do the escorting the part to Regal under pirate attack because of bad luck if say Xyhn has him run himself and a pair of wingmates to increase escort capacity. I can detail the hyperdrive passively then in past tense and it would actually be a bit different than normal I suppose with letting us both do combat.

Would you be up for that then Oka?

Ok we'll do that. I'll start up the post in a bit. What would be the assumption for where we would be at? Does Xyhn have a place she'd want the hyperdrive delivered to?

We can have the pirates attack at a waypoint between jumps where coincidentally either Oka meets up at or he could be there all along with his wingmates.
