The Yin and Yang of life

Location: Nar Kreeta

Bree rented a house along side the beach looking out over the aquamarine seas. This was not the dismal dark world of Nar Shaddaa and it was not exactly half way to Voss. But after months of being apart Bree and [member="Jericho"] had finally arranged for some time together. She had so much to tell him.

Miles Varden had not been happy that she would take off without taking him with her. She had hired him to be her protection but try as she might explaining that protection would not be a problem once she arrived he had growled and nodded knowing that she would have her way. Even the slicer Dashal Vance fussed at her through communications. Like it or not there were a few people beginning to look at little harder at the zeltron and her business dealings.

Zara once again had made sure she had everything she needed for a few days. This world had almost as much criminal activity as Nar Shaddaa Bree had needed to be away though. The darkness of Nar Shaddaa the twisted thoughts, and evil that ran rampant throughout the Palace had slowly drained away the joy. These few days would renew her.

She fretted some, how would Jericho take all the things she would say to him. This was not exactly she he had told her to do. Still it was time to tell him.

She sent the message, and the address. Now dressed in the light flowling dress that covered her from her shoulders to her ankles, sunlight filtered through the material outlining her form beneath. As she waited for The Ghost.

[member="Jericho"] was running late he should have been here by now, she wondered if he had been detained by work, or war, or...another woman. It was possible all of these things, but she would not entertain those thoughts for long.

She had other things to talk about with him things that she was not sure how he would handle, or even how he would view it. Was it a good idea, maybe she should just head home and call all of this off now before..

ugggh she groaned questioning herself again, she had to, there was right and there was wrong. She had to do the right things. It was time to do the right things...She looked out, maybe a swim would help relax her nerves.

Before she knew, the woman began to hover lightly the force of wind briskly brushed through her hair. As she floated lightly the Zeltron was then embraced by the Lorrdian warmly so despite battle torn and armor broken down from a recent mission. Jericho was always a bit late due to his training and missions, this time was no exception but this time he would at least apologize for it. The warrior held her up with one arm and used his free hand to take off his mask and lightly pressed his lips against her own. "[member="Breanna Volsh"]." He whispered her name into her ear as he lightly guided his cheek against her own. "I apologize for my tardiness." He said lightly setting her down. "What was so urgent you had to break words with myself in person?"

oh he just had a way with words didn't he, and his actions they always made her melt. She took a deep breath..."It was important that I see you for two reasons...one is rather pressing the other is..something I want to tell you myself..." She smiled as she rested her body against his even with all the armor he felt good to her. Strong, caring, all the things that made women turn to mush.

"I want you to be comfortable first [member="Jericho"] so please get comfortable" oh how was he going to take all of this, "I have missed you just so you know.." She looked up into his eyes his face even if he had not apologized she would have forgotten he was late the moment he walked or floated in. Oh the things he could do with the elements it was all magic to her something she would never be able to do.

She hugged him hard then, it felt like forever since she had seen him last, how long had it been..

The warrior did not flinch as she clinched him tight despite his battered ribs from a not so recent battle that involved a sith tomb. He lightly kissed her once more to know, to feel that she was truly in her arms. The mental trauma has yet to truly passed though it had been months since that battle and everything, he had unlock skills legend only seen as legends to the Kro Var the warriors of elements. But there was still more he had to learn, more had to strive for and his mind barrier was kept up just in case but feeling her warmth against his and her pheromones and knew that she was real. The man obeyed her and laid back to relax soundly slowly taking of his armor. Hopefully [member="Breanna Volsh"] would be quick with her news as this time would be for relaxation and pleasure not business. He sat back and closed his eyes as he did when they first met, his silence and instant relaxation showing her that he missed her as well..

[member="Jericho"]
Bree watched him with quiet fascination he had a method about which he did things it served him well and kept him alive. She needed him alive she went over and as she had done once before when they first met she straddled his hips so that she could once again have his undivided attention.

"I've started something that you may not approve of, and I wanted to tell you this myself before Zara blabbed it all out one night when you walked into the Palace. You know how she can be..." Take a breath, breathe easy, "I'm running a network to help runaway, and liberated slaves. I'm keeping them in the bottom floor of the Palace until I can find them safe places to go..."

She put her hands on his shoulders, "I just couldn't handle them being mistreated Jericho, it hurt my heart when some of the other places on Nar Shaddaa would pull slaves from the pits they maintained to work..and these are not indentured slaves, they are deprived of their freedom, of even things like good nutrition..." She made a slight face as she began to massage his shoulders, she could see his ribs were damaged again, he never seemed to heal.

She reached down and touched them lightly, "Do they hurt much?" her concern for him showed through her eyes, her touch, her voice......she had one more thing to say....and it was BIG news...but would it be big news for him...what would he say....would he be mad, would he leave...

The moment she mentioned that the warrior was surprised but had a slight feeling of pride. He couldn't lecture her on what she did or tell her what she was doing was right or wrong. He was sure she would have to understand the consequences of what she was doing. Which meant endangering the workers at palace and her loved ones. She was smart and from what he knew had no force abilities and had to do what she could. Still, there was always room for error and hopefully he would be able to help when it came. He placed a hand on her cheek and let out a sigh of relief. "I am glad you are doing what you believe in and doing what you can for those in need. I can even say I am proud that would are willing to take such risk. But understand that there can be consequences." He allowed himself to relax as she pressed on his shoulders. "No." He said calmly in response to her mentioning his ribs. Now he waited on her second news, her body felt slightly tense when she was thinking about it. [member="Breanna Volsh"]

"You fib sometimes to appear strong, and you are strong [member="Jericho"] and thank you" She leaned into his hand keeping it cupped to her face she was scared but this other news...it had to come out..or it would show..

"I'm pregnant Jericho" she stayed completely still waiting for it to sink in. Would he be happy, anger, uncertain, concerned, there were hundreds of emtions for him to go through she had been through them, acceptance coming last. Seemed Zara's warning had come too late, or should have been heeded a bit better. She knew his line of work that this kind of news...could expose a weakness. Jericho was a strong man.

The warrior closed his eyes and sighed when she mentioned that he fibbed to look stronger than he was. He let out a sigh and had a short debate with himself in his mind and came to the logical conclusion that she was partly right. He scroffed at the idea of him being seen in such manner. He lower his hands to her hips and rested easily allowing him take this all in. Then words left her lips, he let out a breath and once more had a mental debate with himself, at first he thought she was speaking about another encounter and fear that he would no longer wish to spend time with her which would be the case had another be involved in such a manner. Then thought about her actions and all the messages and time she spent to speak with him and them then the months he would spend with her on and off.

It clicked.

The warriors eyes opened and he leaned up to face her and placed a hand on her stomach. He did not know what to feel, how to feel, nor what to expect or how to go about this. He was never taught anything about this and in truth he never spent time with "family" that didn't involved battle. This feeling was different, there was no cloning involved, there would not be pure reflection of himself but a reflection of both [member="Breanna Volsh"] and himself. Though the man spoke little words, he was speechless and for once, the man with such a cautious aura, was caught off guard. He laid back once more and rested on his seat. Was this a test? Was he still in the sith tomb in a mental battle with the anicent sith? ....No this was his reality. The warrior closed his eyes, his mind boggled at the thought.

Seeing that he was quiet ok good. She took his hand and placed it on her stomach, "twins Jericho from what the doctor can see a boy and a girl." She searched for the right words." I wanted to tell you myself. I." She paused. "I will understand if you're upset. "

Just then a flutter of life kicked with her. "Its a good thing Jericho, it's. " She made a face, "do you want me to go?"

Maybe he needed space. She was at a loss what should she say. Or do. "Zara will have a fit when I tell her" Bree smiled, "are you mad?"

[member="Jericho"]

He was still awe struck and unknowing what to say, his life was revolved around fighting and battles. The man only knew how to protect others and overall care for himself when it came to basic needs. He didn't know how to be a father, but the fact for him was, it was time to learn. This was a serious matter and he doubt that [member="Breanna Volsh"] would lie to him about such a thing. He leaned in and kissed her holding her body tightly, pressing her hips against his own. "Are they truly mine?" He asked her.

If she were anyone else she would have slapped him if he were anyone else he would nit have asked the question. She wiggled slightly "oh [member="Jericho"] you know me better than to try and trap you. " She sighed,"you are a Jedi you can tell if I lie." She blinked and smiled, "I don't sleep with anyone but you. That's why I ask for more again again and again." Maybe he didn't know that

She looked at him. Putting her hand under his chin, "Jericho these are our children, your children my children, we." She knew nit to pressure him. She closed her eyes the opened them,"yes Jericho they really are yours"

She laid quiet letting him digest what she said.

It was a surprise that almost made him feel a light sense of guilt when she told him that he was her only sexual partner. Almost. He knew the life he had and she did the same though he wouldn't be so rude to tell her. With his life style he didn't know whether or not he will live the next day let alone try to keep up with all the messages his pink love gave. He let out a sigh and puller her in closer placing his forehead on to her chest, in truth, not know what to say next. The thought of having a child, having such a responsibly, such a blessing. He closed his eye tightly as he wrapped his mind around the thought. He felt a slight warmth and had thoughts of having a loving family that he was pulled from when he was in his youth by the old jedi order.

Then he thought about his failures, his inapt ability to take care and protect those he cared for. His master Asha, all of his padawans, and his battle with himself between the light and the dark. Thoughts from the most sith tomb came into mind and haunted him for a moment again, then her light touch on his chin lifted him up and his eyes locked with hers. "I believe you, [member="Breanna Volsh"]." Is all he said after all that she said went silent once more. He again lowered his head adn place his head on her chest. In this situation, she was the light; kind and open. Yet he remained secretive and dark but for good reason.

"I am not worthy of such a blessing."

She laid there taking in just being with him. She could feel him rolling through emotions she often wondered what thoughts were there that created such changes in him, one moment he could feel so happy and light, and then plunge back into the darkness as if it robbed him of his moment of peace.

"[member="Jericho"] my dearest love " yes she said love a term of endearment and expression of emotion, " you deserve such blessings so much that is good Jericho for all that you do, for what you've endured" How was it that with everything he did that he still resort back to being unworthy of such gifts, she knew it was the way he lived his life. Of the things he had to do, but if he had not," If you had not taken care of the men in the Palace that night, this gift would not be ours to have. We are such strange creatures you and I. Our lives roll from high to low, and inbetween we've managed to escape to find comfort and calm with one another." She snuggled against him, she reached over her fingers dances on his skin across the scars, and tatoos that adorned his body and told the story of his life and deeds. "And now we have been given this great gift, tiny creations as innocent as can be.."

She wanted to make this mood a little lighter for them without making him make some commitment to her that would be hard for him to hold up. His duty to the order that he served, and to a galaxy that coddled evil as equally as it gave birth to the good in people.

They were the light and dark of one another, and together they found balance. As he laid his head against her chest she put her other hand to the back of his head, petting him slowly.

"What will you teach our son?" She wanted to make him feel involved, part of, and to know he was going to be great at being a father.

My dearest love....

My dearest love....

My dearest love....

Her words rolled in his mind and echoed in mind, he had such words exchanged around him but never understood such value. No, these words were for him, such devotion was for him. The warrior had a feeling a pit of stomach but he forced it to pass with his line of work he couldn't afford such an emotion. But this feeling was warm and the more he tried to rid himself to rid of it, it only grew more and more. He wasn't use to feeling such a way; the warrior closed his eyes and felt her warmth and pheromones to help him relax. He didn't know what to say to comfort her, he did know what to do to keep her happy and feel safe. Not like this. If she knew what he did, everything he felt like he needed to do, would she care for him as much as she would right now.

She snuggled against him let her fingers play over his scars and his tattoos. His eyes closed as she did and he rest back reflected back on the memories to wonder he could do such a thing as care for little ones. No, he wasn't worthy; he couldn't take care of the lives around him; the lives that were about to be born. Not with the life that he was living, how could he? He chose this life and it would not be so easily for him to leave it. He tried to pull others into and....He clenched his fists for a moment then relaxed once more. He was conflicted on this but it was he was doing from the time he has been spending with [member="Breanna Volsh"]. He brought her into his life by saving her by the marauders, it was his fault that he cursed her for having him as a lover.

Could he love her and the children while living the way he was living? In logical means, the answer was no. He opened his eyes and looked into her loving and innocent eyes locked with his own. His dark eye went lighter and changed to a warmer hazel for a moment before he closed his eyes and placed his forehead on to hers. It could of been the moment taking him once more like it had with her back from when they first met, but he held her hand tightly. What was his answer to such a question and commitment? He would do what he can; nothing more, nothing less. He would find the strength in such a commitment. He will learn and become the man that will needed for such a task.

He place his hands on her stomach. His son.....What would he teach his son? He lightly rubbed her stomach lightly. "How to be a stronger and better man than I..." Jericho said keeping his forehead against hers.

She took great comfort in his presence as his forehead rested against hers. This was their private time their moments to be one with one another. She inhaled taking in his scent his familiar presence all the things that remained in her mind while they were parted. She felt his light touch on her stomach stroking her lightly as he thought.

She smiled as he said How to be stronger and better man than I the wish of all parents that their children have the things they did not and to be better than they ever were. "I think I will teach him to know himself, and for our daughter I will teach her to control her emotions better than I do. The children only being half zeltron will have to learn the value of playing." Their lives were always one way or another, the evil that could pursue them at any moment she feared.

Would they have to hide their children from the galaxy? Would someone wishing to hurt them do so by going after their children? There were so many things to consider when taking on the responsiblity of having a child.

Bree stroked Jericho's cheek somehow when he was near those thoughts faded away. She may have him on pedestal of all the things she envisioned him doing, she may even look at him through rose colored glasses but whatever why she looked she saw the man for who he was and what he shared with her. He had always the option of saying no, just as much as she did, but she knew herself well enough to know she would never say no to him.

"I"m a little scared [member="Jericho"] so many things could happen what if I am not strong enough?" He knew her better than most her strength her weakness she knew him as well the person who shared her life for a month living life with her. She saw how the darkness at times filled his eyes but she also saw the light fill them he was a complex man and she did her best to remain his balance point.

[member="Breanna Volsh"] had a much better grasps on this than Jericho ever would. Where he planned ahead on the enemy, she was planning to care for their children correctly. When it came to fighting, training, and studying it all came naturally to him but this being a parent, this was new and different something he didn't know what to do right away. He closed his eyes and let out a sigh and looked at her deeply in her eyes and felt something he was used to feeling, deep down at least and something he never showed, the feeling was doubt and feeling a failure which he normally embraced but now others were involved and he did not want to fail them as he did his master. But for whatever reason the moment he heard her doubt; he ignored all else. "You are more than strong enough." Those were the only words that left his mouth before embracing her tightly before whispering into her ear once more. "We're...Strong enough." He said, accepting his new reality.

[SIZE=12pt]She nodded, as she whispered, “We are” emphasizing the we. She put her arms around him and held him tightly.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]There were some people in the galaxy that should be avoided at all costs simply because of what they were. Some were so much a part of the galaxy that sometimes the galaxy in its wisdom had to take a hand in destiny and bring the two most unlikely together in order to find balance, and completion.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]It had to be fate that had Bree in the square that night, and fate that had brought Caden in, and destiny that had kept Bree and Jericho together. Their children were destined to affect the galaxy in some way, but what was it was still unknown, how else would a Lorrdian and Zeltron find one another, and have children.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]She stroked his back as they lay there.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]“I’m glad it is you who will be father to my children Jericho.” This was what she brought him here to say.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]“I have to go to Coruscant soon.” She could feel heat within herself being near him always did this to her. “I want to feel your skin on mine to hear the raspy sound of your voice in my ear. Jericho” she whispered his name and then whispered in his ear all that she wanted to do to him.[/SIZE]

[member="Jericho"]

He nuzzled his cheek against hers when he heard the subtle sound emphasis of "we", as if an affectionate akk dog. When she wrapped her arms around him; he felt as though he was encased in his own fire, the warmth that blazed through the night. He placed his ear on her stomach and closed his eyes though knowing they have yet to form, he already felt some sort of strong connection, it almost made him want to smile from ear to ear. But as always he kept his stone cold looked and adjusted himself then wrapping his arms around his Zeltron lover. He did as she asked and embraced her then whispered quietly into her ear. "Then we will enjoy this time of peace before you go...." He said lightly pressing his lips onto her cheek then onto her shoulder. "[member="Breanna Volsh"]." She said whispering her name.

[SIZE=12pt]“Jericho” she whispered back to him letting the time and her need to be near him fill every moment.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]He had a technique that made her catch her breath, and kisses that left trails of fire on her skin. She melted into him and the room faded to black.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]The next morning – they still lay quietly. She was content she had sensed his emotions the night before but knew he was private and in no time the children would be born she was nervous.[/SIZE]
