There are Many Colours Within a Flame

Tipau grinned. "Nah, I like dark side food. It's got a nice tang to it." Almost too late, the Ruferalahuin realized Master Feanor might not take to kindly to learning that she ate people. Krest had handled it fairly well, but then again, he'd already been exposed to such things.

So, instead, she stretched, reaching her hands up towards the sky and her tail sticking out behind her. "Well, I've got a brother and an adopted sister, though I don't get to see them too much. You already know about...um...my parents. I'm a Ruferalahuin, by the way." The female scrunched up her face, thinking. "Oh!" She snapped her fingers. "I tend to wander a lot...I've found that you can see all sorts of interesting things if you just follow your feet and go with the flow, you know?"

Tipau grinned again at the Master. "What about you?"

"Echani. Much like you i wandered alot before and even during the early months of the order, fighting and getting better with the force till we have reached the point i am at now. I have three sibling, two brothers and a sister...." She leaned back and looked up at the sky before smiling. "And yes, i pretty much guessed your being Rufferalahuin, the ears and tail kinda make it a bit obvious." She smiled at the girl, a wink at her following.

Tipau's ears perked up a bit when she listened to Master Feanor. A wanderer too! They could swap so many stories! Well, alright, she'd have to edit some of her hunts out, but that still left the female with quite a few narrations.

The Ruferalahuin slouched a bit from embarrassment when the Master pointed out the obviousness of her species. "Well, I just wanted to be sure. You wouldn't believe some of the things people have called me. Once, someone even asked if I was a special Cathar! A Cathar! Between you and me, no Cathar can even come close to the beauty of my tail." As if to emphasize her point, the female reached back and patted her fur a few times.

"So how old is the Order, anyway?"

"About a little over a year old, started it after i left the Sith to kark themselves." She smiled at the words, her eyes now looking at the forests and igniting a small flame in her hand as she let it wrap around her arm like a serpent. "It's odd, never really thought about getting something this big, i had thought one or two people might come, yet we have an order of people devoted to the future of simple knowledge... Hmm, perhaps its odder than i though now that i say it."

Tipau's eyebrows shot up. "Only a year?!" she exclaimed. "And already you guys are rather sizable!"

Being of a race with a relatively long lifespan, a year was like a month to Tipau. A week. A hiccup. The blink of an eye. Which meant her utter surprise was genuine.

Her tail swished back and forth in intrigue. “What made you want to start the Grey Order, anyway?” She knew it was technically, “Order of the Grey”, but the “Grey Order” was shorter. “And why did you leave the Sith? Actually, why did you even bother to join?” The Ruferalahuin wrinkled her nose in distaste. As of yet most Sith that weren’t her next meal were either cranky or attempted to turn her into their next pet/slave/experiment. And people really wondered why she liked to eat them?

"Because they needed to be defended. Little miss, you see that i don't care if someone is Sith, or Jedi, or even one of us. Though of course i will protect my family, this order, before anyone else it is my job to protect those who need the protection, if a Sith is being targeted for Genocide, then the Sith are the ones that are being abused by war. If the Jedi are theones being wiped out, i aid them."

“Oh, I think I understand.” Tipau tilted her head to the side. “You help anyone, regardless of who or what they are. Right?” That sounded right to the Ruferalahuin, though it was always good to take things with salt, as they say. At least, that was what she thought they say. For her, good conversations were few and far between. Especially when she was hungry.

Her tail swishing slightly, she scratched behind her ear. “But what if the person you’re helping doesn’t deserve to be helped? What then? Do you still help them?”

"I have a question Tipau, who are we to judge what someone learns? Who are we to judge if they deserve to learn. There is only one type of person i will not teach and that is the one that kills without remorse. And i mean the type that exterminates peoples and populations for simply existing. It is those people that i will never teach. But past that... i have no right to judge anyone that wants to learn."

Tipau hunched her shoulders sheepishly, feeling for all the world like she was being reprimanded. "I guess you're right," she said, thinking back on her own actions. In her eyes, they were perfectly justifiable, but to others....well, they'd probably make the same argument against her.

Then her ears perked up again. "But what if someone wants to learn a skill so they can apply it for evil actions? And I don't mean evil as in the action itself, but rather the intent. What if they want to learn a skill so they can do something they know is bad?"

"Well...." She looked oer the sights before her and smiled at their beauty before turning back to face the girl as shse spoke. "You see, when it comes to people like that then you have to correct your mistakes in teaching them and stop them yourself. Anyone can use any power for evil intent and its my duty to stop them before they cause harm to others. After all its only right to own up to your mistakes and then fix them completely."
