There are Many, yet there is One (Naga)

What was there to the galaxy that made certain things more important to others? What dictated the importance of certain tasks? Those were questions that would likely never be answered. If only because those answers lay deep within the organic sentient mind. That was one of the reasons that Ultimatum had dedicated a single background program to the endeavor of understanding organic thought processes. Would he ever find the answer, he wasn't sure, but he would try as if there was a possibility.

Mustafar was a strange planet to conduct that sort of informational collecting. The few organics on the planet were not incredibly brilliant and were generally very much concerned with the moment rather than the future. They seemed less to care about the importance of a task rather than that of the person who gave it. That in itself was an interesting idea, and one that Ultimatum found even more logical. After all a computer was very similar in that regard.

He was designing the body of another droid in Progenitor Facility, his base of operations on Mustafar. It was a good place to lie low, due mostly to the clandestine build and its stealthy nature. It also housed a larger computer base for him to keep track of security of the planet better. He always wanted to know who or what was coming in, rather than trusting that everyone was either a traveler or miner. He had met a number of Sith this way, so it was proving effective, if not in the way he had intended.

Mustafar... Naga had a slight like for the place mainly due to the crystals that grow there..Although this time he would have to win over the trust of Mustafars new lord if he where to achieve this...who knows perhaps he can befriend the new ruler and that would be yet another ally for naga to have under his wing and haveing as many allies as you can get is the most powerful weapon a sith could ask for ..well.. one of a few that is. He traveled to mustafar in his new [post='Ziz Class Assault Freighter']http://starwarsrp.net/topic/66403-ziz-class-assault-freighter-sa-fleet-app/[/post] when he got close enough he first commed the landing pad station for permission to land only stateing his name and that he wishs to conduct business with the lord here

Access was granted, it wasn't unusual for travelers to bring their own ships, though it was not entirely common either. The computers put the proper notation on the information and set it away where one of Ultimatum's minor watch programs made a note of it and saved the information with all the rest. So far nothing suspicious had occurred and thus there was no security issue and not warning to Ultimatum.

Some of the droids on the shipyard saw the small ship, they might have found it odd, had they actually been looking at it. They were far too busy repairing the damaged Hammerhead-class crusier that Ultimatum had brought a number of weeks ago. They had strict orders to complete basic repairs as quickly as possible, he had something in mind for the big ship. The effect of that was that the droids didn't pay much attention to the ship as it passed by.

Ultimatum's main mind in the meantime was still working towards finishing some computations for another droid. Stagnation was bad, especially for a droid like himself, and he had to keep himself constantly busy so that he wasn't caught without too much thoughtlessness. Later he would go over the information on who had entered the planet, there was no rush, none of the special tracks had been activated and that meant it was unlikely that a Sith had come, it didn't remove the possibility but it made it less likely.

When naga landed his ship he looked around. It had been a while since hed been to Mustafar he liked the atmosphere it holds a strange likeing for some but to each there own, He was here to try and befriend the current leader of this planet not take in the view. He made his way into the factory to look for a droid or something that can lead him to the leader. [member="Ultimatum"]

That would prove to be a fortuitous act, most organics on the planet were not employed in factories, Ultimatum didn't appreciate their lack of finesse when it came to the construction of products. It was not that they weren't allowed to walk through, in fact occasionally there would be a lone Mustafarian who would venture in and marvel at the works accomplished. However, these visits were rare and far in between. Thus when an organic did enter the factory, it was noted and Ultimatum took a look through security cameras, just as he always did to be certain that there was no mischief being done.

He noted a none Mustafarian and wondered who it might be. Most visiting organics were not interested in the factories set up. He decided to see who this outsider was. He sent a message to Legion, who happened to be in the area, and the droid was quick to make its way towards the man. Legion walked close to the man saying, "Greetings organic. May I help you? What are you looking for today?"

Naga looked over the droid that approached him...most curios design indeed never the less the droid was one who could answere his question he asked in a calm tone. "I am Naga Itesak and i am here to speak to your leader about buisness. Please direct me to him." Was all naga said if he could get the lord on his side then thats another fortune to add to his arsenal first a mining company ...now a lord over mustafar. [member="Ultimatum"]

Legion nodded and turned towards the exit. Outside a hovercar moved on its own to the side of the road. It was controlled by a droid brain that responded to Legion's command to come. He pointed and said, "Come and I will take you to him."

Ultimatum had been monitoring Legion and wondered why this man was looking for him. He was being polite that was certain. But Ultimatum had learned not to trust simple politeness.

Naga followed legion while observing the factory it self. Who ever owned this world knew how to run it none stop by imputing machines instead of humans who tire or get sick and die. He was curios if the lord was even human him self... it would be interesting to meet a machine lord but none the less this was a much needed ally not an enemy. He continued to follow with interest [member="Ultimatum"]

Once in the vehicle, Legion took a seat in the back. He had never done so before. Ultimatum had always insisted that Legion be in the front to make certain that the computer continued to functioned. Legion had always been upset at this, the computer had never failed and the only time they had had real trouble with the vehicle had been when it ran over a landmine. He liked it back here, perhaps he would talk to Ultimatum about that next time he got the chance.

He activated a direct comm to Ultimatum who responded instantly. The droid ruler waited until he saw [member="Naga Itesak"] before saying, "Greetings. I hear that you are looking for the leader of Mustafar, correct?"

Naga heard the voice but saw no one, No doubt use of the intercomm he hoped a face to face meeting but this will have to suffice apprently. " Yes ..i am... are you the one i seek? I wish to discuss buisness with you if you are." Naga hold no demanding tone just a calm and patient stature he knew this would take time and wasnt going to rush the process. [member="Ultimatum"]

Ultimatum nodded to himself, he replied, "My name is Ultimatum, yes I am the one you are looking for. If you do not mind, we will be having a face to face meeting."

It was only a minute before they reached the destination and Legion opened the door for [member="Naga Itesak"] allowing him to step out. The vehicle had moved into an underground alcove, Progenitor Facility had been constructed under the ground on the edge of a cliff. It gave a certain amount of privacy that Ultimatum believed he would require. THe droid leader of Mustafar was waiting outside the vehicle. "Hello Mr.--?"

"Naga Itesak is my name" He said as he approached [member="Ultimatum"] the droid was unlike anything hes ever seen before but ...given hes still getting used to seeing the common war droid model but he paid it no mind. " You have quite the operation here Ultimatum." Compliments may not work on a droid but it sometimes wouldnt hurt to mention the success this droid has accomplished here even if he is machine he may contain 'human' emotions to better suit human interaction ..then again he might not....you never know the universe is a strange place with many strange creatures and machines so its always best to cover all the angles.

[member="Naga Itesak"] had made a good decision. While Ultimatum was a droid, he was not completely immune to the effects of pride. He was gladdened to hear that his operations were complimented in such a manner, though most of his mind was still busy attempting to calculate who this man was. Ultimatum guessed he was Sith, if only because they appeared to be the people that he met the most. In fact, almost everybody he had met on this planet had been Sith. He sometimes wondered if they were drawn to the planet like flies to a rotting carcass. He just didn't understand their apparent fascination of the planet.

None the less, he replied calmly, "Why thank you. Not often do people say such things about the factories. Now what is you wished to see me about?" He wanted to know before they got too much further.

Naga grinned a little this was truly an interesting creature a droid with emotions was something new to him, Then again it wasnt impossible to achieve sometimes droids want a certain level of humanity to operate better some dont. Now would be a time to start dealing with this machine instead of beating around the bush with this intelligence. He spoke with a calm tone " I have come to start a possible alliance with you and my self....trade can be a start before we try and move up on the matter...but id like to know what you can create and such first.....if you wont mind." Naga wanted to see what [member="Ultimatum"] could do before considering his options.

Ultimatum stood still for a moment. Another person looking to create a company alliance. Could this be Animus' doing again? Was that man trying to get LOOM into everyone's table conversations? What was he thinking? It was growing too quickly. It had to be kept under the radar, didn't he understand that? No, of course he didn't, what he saw was a chance for power. Thus he ran for it as quickly as he could. He didn't care that it might make life inconvenience or downright dangerous to others.

Ultimatum realized that of course this could also be something completely different. This man may never have heard of Animus, or Darth Mythos as he went by now. He wondered, but could not ask. Not without possibly jeopardizing confidentiality. "Not at all. At the moment we are capable of building ships, droids, armored vehicles, and most forms of small tech. I hope to expand into the micro realm, but it will be some time before then. We also mine up most of our own metal resources, thought things such as chips and non-metal supplies come from offworld." He responded and waited patiently for a reply.

Naga listened to the droid speak... this droid was capable of alot and he was still evolving his technology as all machines seem to do it was a simple thing but naga needed allies and this droid shall be a good start on the matter in his continued evolution. When he spoke again there was curiosity and inquisitiveness in his voice. " I am curios ...What must one give for production of small armored vehicles such as scout vehicles or light assault vehicles..." If he could get this it will be a great start even it it was a small start but .. big things always must start small.
[member="Ultimatum"]

Ultimatum stayed silent for a moment, his mind pulling up the basic requirements for these things. They were easy and quick to produce, if one was looking for strictly quantity, but Ultimatum was one to work for quality far above quantity. There, mostly it was metal, but even these vehicles had computers and that meant parts that were simply not available on the planet.

"I would say either the computer components and other parts that we cannot supply, or enough credits to purchase those same things at face value." He knew that there was no universal price, but he had to keep a generalized payment price so that he could cover for some parts being less expensive and other being more so. It was a balancing act, how much a company made versus how much it expended. The one advantage that Ultimatum had above most was that he wasn't looking for a profit and neither was his entire work force of droids, this allowed him to keep the prices of his products lower than an organic competitor. Not that he had any competitors at the moment, the massive companies would get their business and those that came to him were more than likely looking for something specific, thus he felt somewhat safe in his position.

Naga pondered this....he could use the income of the new mining company he contracted with but would that satisfy the droid....even with simple selling of old gear he could scrounge up something but if thats enough to satisfy Ultimatum he was the only one he needed to appease at the moment if he was to get what he needed. So he asked him this "I am curios .....what is the face value of the light assault vehicles..." If he was to try and appease the beast he must first hear its offer.

[member="Ultimatum"]

Ultimatum thought about that for a second. A light assault vehicle would be mainly composed of metal, maybe a lot depending on the preference of the person building it. Some were made with heavy armor while others were given shield generators. Ultimatum would base his calculations on the more heavily armored type, simply because that cut off a rather expensive piece of tech that would have to be brought in, it was a polite thing to do. A vehicle of that sort would then require computer components, weaponry systems, and a viewing medium. This all could come down to a little over a hundred thousand credits, if Ultimatum looked in the right places he could probably drop that by half, which he would. The price of an actual light assault vehicle tended to be considerably more because the amount of metal used was expensive.

"The cost of the vehicle itself, constructed and prepared for battle, would be on the line two hundred thousand credits, accurate to a ten thousand or so. The parts I would need to construct the tank, metal and what I can provide aside, would be about seventy-five thousand credits, accurate to the thousand credits up or down. I can cover the construction of the armor and the materials I have on hand." Ultimatum was glad that he had chosen Mustafar as a base of operation for LOOM. The ready supply of metal allowed him to almost completely remove the possibility of a part breaking and having a customer pay for that, he could make almost every part in the factory right here. The computers were the only issue, but he had other ways of collecting the money for them. He wondered what this organic had in mind, it felt like he was seeing what Ultimatum would want before making any decisions.

Naga sighed knowing that he would have to hound in a lot of money from the assassins funding. But given this was indeed for them then he would do it. He may get quite the chewing for it but the long run was worth it this was not just for him it was for the Assassins as well... they could use land vehicles for there operations and given the gear they have already in production then they no doubt would have enough money for such a thing. "Consider the funding you need yours.......is there anything else you need for such a thing?" After a short pause he added one more thing " How much are the Lava crystals that grow here by the way...?"
