My enemy... That was one way to set the scene, she supposed.
While Taci had become familiar with a decent-sized hand of Force utilities, she had never seen anyone launch into the air like Knight Truden had. It seemed an immaculate feat, and the tyrian lingered below for several moments with a crooked eyebrow, wondering how that was possible. She had learned to sprint and dash like a skittery little bug, but to defy gravity like the Jedi had just done seemed quite daunting.
Maybe the key was to think of it in the same way she had learned to move horizontally. Bending her knees and tensing her calves, the learner coiled for a leap and fired away. Her arms clambered at the air as she bounded for the ledge, and it seemed that as she progressed, a little more could be pushed out of the energy with a little focus--something that was not actually there, but she could feel it propel her upward. But even as Taci came to a new height, her fingers only grasped at the ledge. After a few seconds of hanging by as firm a grip as she could muster, the twi'lek had to resign to fatigue and dropped back to the alley street below, the fringes of her shoes clapping as they flopped around upon landing.
"I'm not sure I'm big enough to quite make it all the way," she surmised, looking back up at her teacher.
