Things that annoy you

@[member="Fabula Cavataio"] OMFG YES

@[member="Lilith Mae Lancaster"] I don't believe you've ever said "I am apprentice only in rank, I am a master in power!" and then tried to kill someone with force lightning...and then said you weren't even tired by the process.

Seriously, a Sith Knight calling himself "Darth Badassius" or "Lord Awesome" is a little like a Jedi Knight calling himself "Master Goodguy."

And while I'm on a rant..."special" lightsabers/Force powers/martial arts/exotic tech/whatever. If you require something material to make your character interesting, then you have failed as a writer.

"My character uses a lightsaber flail that has six blades connected by fibercords and can control them all telekineticaly while also using two standard blades."

My character is a clone of a dead woman who possesses the soul of the original copy, giving her extreme emotional torque even when she's not struggling against her inner desire to kill each and every thing within reach. She sees the Force as the body of the galaxy and tries to function as its surgeon, keeping it healthy by cutting out the cancerous growths within. As a result she treats her own body as a temple through following an obscure Force tradition that I discovered after I had determined who she was, and it affected her growth as a person. She has completed Herculean tasks of might and clashes with some of the strongest monolithic Force entities not because of her weird powers or "unique" toys, but because she has earned that right.

But yeah, sure. Your flailsaber is super cool, too. Makes your character really "special."

This flailsaber is hypothetical and not intended to directly reference or offend any player who is actually thinking of using a flailsaber to distinguish his/her character.

People who really dislike flailsabers because they're the most epic thing ever and any character without one is instantly rubbish and should never be written about ever including Harry Potter, Jesus, and Dangermouse. @[member="Fabula Cavataio"]

On other notes:

  • People who have no knowledge of Eru Ilúvatar
  • People who openly slate a style of music before taking the time to sit and listen to more than 30 seconds of an introduction.
  • People
  • Biblical references in places that don't need biblical references (Nonexistent:12:82)
  • Sith who spam Force Lightning like they're a walking talking nuclear power plant.
  • Jedi who spam Force Heal like they're Nelson Mandela repairing South Africa.
  • Political characters who try to be the next Palpatine.
  • Jedi who are really Sith in brown robes.
  • Sith who adhere to the "LOL IM A BADGUY LOOK I'LL JUST KICK THIS PUPPY" stereotype because they don't understand that Sith can be polite.
  • Roleplayers who generally try to blur the lines between what their faction represents, and what that factions polar opposite is. No. Stop that. It defeats the purpose of joining a faction that has a particular moral standpoint. I'm looking at you, Sith in brown robes.
  • Swords being used instead of lightsabers.
  • Characters that are the clone of a dead woman but they possesses the soul of the original copy, giving them extreme emotional torque even when they're not struggling against their inner desire to kill each and every thing within reach.
  • Characters that see the Force as the body of the galaxy and try to function as its surgeon, keeping it healthy by cutting out the cancerous growths within.
  • Characters that, as a result of the aforementioned view of the Force, treat their own body as a temple through following an obscure Force tradition that they discovered after they had determined who the character was.
  • Characters that allow the above to affect their growth as a person.
  • Characters that have completed Herculean tasks of might and clashes with some of the strongest monolithic Force entities not because of her weird powers or "unique" toys, but because they have earned that right.

Disney's Princess
  • The EU: It's mostly just nonsensical Fan Fiction that was lucky enough to get stamped 'Canon'. Spawning or even sometimes requiring endless debates about plot holes, timeline linearity, the interpretation of religion, countless ret-cons, and generally fabulous inconsistencies. Did I forget Celestials? Sigh.
  • Fleeters: Because now it's just another game of math and probability. Sigh.
  • The Prequels: Because the Jedi went from awesome-do-anything Battle Mages, to sex-forbidding vigilante Samurai. Sigh.
  • The Craftshop: Where every complaint you filed with an Admin was delegated the same response: Roleplay, Cheat, Troll, Rinse & Repeat. Sigh.
