Rakieh Atur
The Watchman's Apprentice
The events of the recent past were simply just a blur for Rakieh. So much has happened in so little time that little room had been given for him to think all of it out. Even now, he stands in the glory of the Voss Academy, so dumbfounded by the idea of simply existing in its space no other thought could come through. You could say that he was distracted. He was. You could say that he didn't know what to do next. He didn't.
What is it a Jedi would do in a time like this? Calm themselves? Clear their mind? A combination of the two? Neither? What to do, what to do...?
It was, of course, no use. Rakieh could only help but distract himself with arbitrary trains of thought. How could he not? Today he was doing himself both the greatest honor and the biggest wrongdoing. He would begin on the path of learning the ways of the Force, a dream of enlightenment for him, and actions worthy of exile for his family.
No matter. His to-be-Master would be there soon. There was no time for second thoughts, if any had been there to begin with. Now was time to take the next step, and once that step was taken, to follow through, into the unknown reaches of the future as a Jedi of the Silver Jedi Order.
