Nathema Orbit
The infrastructure in orbit of Nathema had become particularly important to Vanessa, as she had essentially constructed the entire SMD project around this world. With the successful development of the Trigon Two satellites and their having officially been deployed under the command of Xavier Vi'dreya, Vanessa now turned to another otherwise impossible to duplicate superweapon.
The Sun Crusher.
While the Trigon One had been designed as nothing more than a bluff, the Sun Crusher had destroyed multiple star systems before being unceremoniously dumped into a black hole. Information on the resonance torpedo launcher and quantum-crystalline armor utilized in the prototype was not enough to reconstruct the weapon systems. Yet here Vanessa stood in front of a prototype of the Sun Crusher. It had been built to the exact same standards as the original - with some minor exceptions, namely the fact that it fired a variety of non-supernova-inducing torpedoes and was not invincible.
Hence why she had called over one of the Imperial admirals to help sell the deception. The woman was trustworthy enough to understand the significance of the decoy superweapon. For that, a test would be demonstrated using an old XoXaan of original Sith Empire vintage that had at least externally been upgraded to mimic a XoXaan II. It had been rigged to detonate after an explosion impacted a specific part of the ship - why? Because the Sun Crusher needed to be used as a psychological weapon, and an unmodified holorecording of the Sun Crusher annihilating a starship would be a powerful intimidating tool for use against the Galactic Alliance - and more particularly, the Silver Jedi.
