STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
+ Lone Operative: Thol is a Silver Shadow, and is capable of using the Force in ways that assist in his clandestine operations; stealth, suppressing his presence, using mind tricks, and other similar Force powers are easy to use for him at this point.
+ Combat Ready: Due to his occupation, Thol has trained hard in lightsaber and blaster combat. He is very skilled with the lightsaber, able to hold his own against multiple blaster wielding opponents, while also being on the upper end of the skill spectrum for his rank compared to other Jedi/Sith Knights in bladed engagements. Thol employs the use of Tràkata in his lightsaber combat and is familiar with several traditional lightsaber forms, but ultimately uses whatever gets the job done. He is also trained in more advanced martial arts to compliment his bladework:
- Bakuuni Hand (skilled)
- Broken Gate (learning)
+ Street Smarts: Jedi teachings aren't the only thing Thol knows, as he has past experiences with smuggling, underworld criminals and learned how to deal with those areas of society from his mother in her profession. He's also handy with a wrench in a pinch, but it's certainly not his specialty.
+/- Visions Of Mind: Thol is capable of psychometry, like some others of the Kiffar. Unlike most, his ability isn't limited to inanimate objects, and works on living beings. Yet, while being able to access the impressions and traces around things has advantages, there are also dangers. Emotions and dark thoughts can be transferred during the process, leaving Thol to combat influences and feelings not conducive to a Jedi or the Light Side.
- Toeing A Line: Thol is a young Jedi Knight who tends to operate alone, or in small groups, and this gives him a lot of freedom compared to others in the Silver Jedi; temptation, substances, romance & possessions are all lures he continually tries to resist.
- Phantom Limb: Thol's cybernetic left arm can be both a boon or hindrance, as the limb can grant additional strength but can also be shorted out by ion effects and rendered useless until repaired.
- Limited By Others: Somewhat headstrong and impatient, Thol is used to operating his way as a Silver Shadow; this can clash with other Order members, especially those in higher command, as he is used to taking action and direction of his own accord.
- Not Yet A Master: Thol is still learning, he's a Jedi Knight, and while he would like to believe he can handle any situation as a Silver Shadow, the truth remains that sometimes he needs to swallow his pride and retreat from overwhelming opponents.
- Father Issues: Thol longs to meet his father, but fears it will never happen.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Thol Amroth was born on the outpost known as Point Nadir, to a single mother Larin Vos, who flew a freighter for a living. His early childhood involved joining his parent on transport runs (which would later be revealed to be smuggling runs), and helping to keep the ship clean, and interacting with her 'friends' (smuggling associates) that joined her for runs. For almost a decade Thol had no knowledge of his father, until he simply asked, when he was old enough to understand the difference in surnames with his mother. Larin explained that, out of respect for his father (Zak Amroth III), Thol's surname had taken his father's own; but that, in Kiffar tradition, his markings had come from Clan Vos.
From a young age it was readily apparent Thol was Force Sensitive. He displayed signs of power while playing with toys, using telekinesis to move the soft objects. He also had an uncanny ability to sense the history and past of an object simply by touching it, of which Larin understood to be a rare gift within her species known as psychometry. Unlike most Kiffar, however, Thol's capability with psychometry didn't end with inanimate objects, as it applied to the living also.
Around the age of ten, Thol was taken in by the Silver Jedi Order. He was appointed to a Jedi Master, was trained in the use of the Force, and exceeded in his studies. His natural athleticism and ability to gain information through touch, paired well with his pursuing a path as a Jedi Shadow. Tracking, gathering intelligence, operating alone or in small groups suited Thol just fine. And with his past as a smuggler's son, he was able to move through numerous levels of society and make connections from past experience and knowledge.
While on a mission, Thol and his Master engaged in combat with several Sith warriors, and unfortunately Thol lost his bout - and his left arm, at the bicep. His Master was able to defeat the remaining Sith, whom Thol had injured, and was able to assist his Padawan with emergency aid. Several days after the mission, the young Jedi Knight was fitted with a cybernetic replacement of his left arm, which was covered in life-like synthskin, and tuned to his neural connections as though it had never been gone at all. The result of that battle spurred Thol on to improve his lightsaber prowess, and within five years he had learned additional forms to a high standard, setting him up for masterful combatant ability in his later years.
For the next several years, Thol served the public as a Silver Shield, maintaining his cover within the Jedi outside of his secretive position. He took part in various missions, assisted other Jedi to complete difficult tasks, and continued to develop his skills and abilities. During this time, Thol also began investing time in learning hand-to-hand martial arts, to further support his capabilities as a Silver Shadow, to offer options beyond his lightsaber or blaster should it be required. The young man's aptitude for combat was proven again as he readily excelled in the ancient art of Bakuuni Hand, which used the Force to strengthen limbs used for striking.
Now, at the age of twenty-one, Thol is something of an accomplished Jedi Knight. He is strong in the Force, is skilled in lightsaber combat, and is very capable at undercover/clandestine operations and using the Force for those means.
