Three Birds, One Stone. (Darth Ferus)

Once again Valtryx was in her personal training room, but this time she looked quite different. It had been some months since her last training session with Ferus, and her appearance now might surprise him. She wore a new outfit she had ordered specially from an upper-class tailor in Coruscant, using her heist payout to fund it of course. Along with the new outfit was her hair, the red dye of which had faded slightly. The hair itself was also tied up and curled near the bottom, allowing more of her face to be seen as less of her fringe covered it.

The only thing missing from her outfit was a sword, and she was quite close to a master of swords. That master of swords also knew Makashi, the form she wished to learn alongside the sword. Two Birds in One Stone, the saying was. Except there was a third.

The life form inside Valtryx's stomach had become noticeable to her, but whether Ferus had realized yet, she didn't know. Either way, he was going to find out.

It wasn't long until the Darth found himself once more in [member="Darth Valtryx"] 's room. With both hands behind his back he would raise a brow to her, a slight smirk forming on his lips. "Opting to change your style again? I hope this isn't another new body." While his voice sounded happy, there was a hint of worry. Changing bodies was incredibly taxing, and if something went wrong well. Minna simply wouldn't exist anymore. He did not, however, notice the new signature coming from her. With all the signatures in the temple, he didn't think to assume there was something.. More.

"So, what exactly did you need me for?"

Valtryx turned gracefully at the voice of her partner, flashing a smile towards him. "Not a new body, just a new look." She assured him as she walked towards him. "I need a few things. A sword, not like my old ones. Something singular, one-handed, and good for a style like Makashi. Which then takes me on to the other thing I need." A slight pause as she smiled. If it was anyone else then she would hate asking them for their help, but with Ferus it felt natural. "I could do with learning Makashi. I need more elegance in my swordplay." The red-head stopped, as if finished, but then continued suddenly. "And one other thing..." Her hand took hold of his, bringing it to her stomach. With a smile she looked up at him. "Use your senses..."

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"A sword for makashi? Well, I'm sure we could make you a rapier of some sort. It would help with the sudden wrist movements required of the stance. Though, didn't I just teach you Djem So perhaps a month or two ago? Already trying to branch out to more?" A grin formed on his face as he answered the first two statements. In honesty, his mind didn't allow him to hear that last part for a moment or two.

But he did. And when he did, his eyes went slightly wide. Following her hand to her stomach, his head would tilt slightly to the left as he tried to understand her meaning. Well, he understood it perfectly fine. But, it took him a little bit to comprehend. Turning his blue gaze up to [member="Darth Valtryx"], he would speak rather softly, barely a whisper.

"A baby..?"

Valtryx nodded slowly, her eyes fixed upwards on the Zabrak. "Yep..." She replied in less of a whisper. Her emotions were in check, but she could still feel the love she felt for the child already. "I'll have to get as much done as I can before it starts weighing me down." A slight laugh came from her as she broke the silence, letting go of Krest's hand and feeling her stomach with her own. Right now she had no idea how Ferus was going to react, but she was about to find out.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

His reaction was pure shock at first. But as the shock faded, a smile slowly took over. To the point that he was practically brimming with happiness. "Wait, so. I'm gonna be a father?" He sounded breathless, yet at the same time elated. Pulling [member="Darth Valtryx"] into a tight embrace, he would let out a joyous laugh, a grin wide on his face. "This is fantastic!" There was something about the feeling of fatherhood. To some, it was a fearful thing. To others, an amazing thing. To the Zabrak, it was the most beautiful thing to happen.

He was going to be a dad.

"It is!" She nearly shouted with excitement. The prospect of having a child that would continue her legacy filled her with joy. Of course, she wasn't completely heartless, she would love the child for simply being alive. But inheriting the power that Valtryx would amass was necessary for someone, in case her plans for immortality failed. "Anyway, sticking to business." Her face tried it's best to hide the smile, but it didn't do a good job. "You wouldn't have a spare sword lying around would you? or do I have to go through the effort of making one again?" The smile broke through, a small laugh escaping. Everything seemed so joyous now.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"I always have spare swords laying around, but I think it may be best if you make a new one. One that this time, you'll actually keep." He offered a slight wink before looking around the room, scratching at his chin. "For now though, we may just have to use sabers. I mean, if we're gonna get you into Makashi, well. It'll just be easier with a saber." The Darth nodded twice, trying himself to keep to the thought of being a father pushed down. But like [member="Darth Valtryx"] , it was too much for him to just not be happy about. Without warning, he would move to her and plant his lips against hers, just joyous.

"Fine... I'll work on it later then..." Valtryx gave a mocking sigh. The kiss came unexpected, and she merely laughed at it. "Stay focused, master." She joked, unholstering her lightsaber and taking a moderate amount of steps back. Igniting her crimson red blade, she performed a spin with it, a little trick she liked to do alot. "Ready to learn, as always." She smirked, assuming a loose one handed stance. It was in no way a Makashi stance, but she didn't know the form's stance just yet. So for now, she would learn.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"Alright , then lets begin." He would step away, but not before kissing her forehead one last time. Turning to face [member="Darth Valtryx"] , he would bring his saber out beside him, holding it with the blade pointed down and his feet evenly spaced. "Makashi is about footwork, parries, and light jabs or quick flicks of your wrist. You use your footwork to trap your opponent. You wont have power, but you will have skill."

Valtryx shifted herself to mimic the zabrak's stance, with evenly spaced footing and a downwards pointing blade. "Skill is my kinda thing." She smirked, although telling the truth. Ataru relied more on movement and skill than strength, and to be perfectly honest she preferred not to rely too heavily on strength. Someone with an immense amount of skill would outdo someone who was strong anyday, at least in Valtryx's mind. "Carry on."

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"Good. Now, part of Makashi is sticking to the ground. No flips, no cartwheels. You fight in a line, where your opponent is forward. No lift to rights, just forward and back. For now we're going to worm on light parries." He would flick his saber upwards, shifting his stance so his right side was facing her, and the lightsaber in his hand pointed towards her form. "Knock my blade away, don't just catch it. Redirect it where you want."

[member="Darth Valtryx"]

Valtryx nodded, spinning her lightsaber once again before holding it down and towards Krest. Her spare hand remained behind her back as she moved forward, her eyes fixed on the Zabrak's blade. With a swift lunge forward, the red-head flicked her blade into his, redirecting it towards his outside. From there she moved inwards, extending her blade to infront of his throat, in the hopes of catching him off guard in a stalemate. She would keep a steady watch on his blade though, readying herself to block if he were to try and bring his blade back to her.
She wasn't that stupid.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

His blade flicked around in a quick instant, the blue blade soaring out to catch her own against it. He was going to push the blade away from him to his left, and at the same time push himself backwards from [member="Darth Valtryx"] . With two steps back he would go to give himself room, and then propel himself forward to thrust his blade for her chest. He would extend his arm fully to give himself more reach, but his wrist was very loose, as if he was going to flick the blade somewhere else at any moment.

Valtryx grounded herself, attempting to swing her lightsaber back at the Zabrak. However, he had already stepped backwards, so her blade hit nothing but air. Determined to win, she lunged forward as if to attack, but saw that he was attacking with his own thrust. Bring her lightsaber vertical to her chest, she would attempt to bat the blade aside, and if doing so successfully spin hers over and towards him. Of course, she would not go to kill him, merely hold her lightsaber infront of him.

Couldn't hurt the father of her child now, could she?

[member="Darth Ferus"]

With a flick of his wrist after his blade was knocked to the side, he would not only bring it over her shoulder, but down back to her blade and force both of them to point the ground. Both hands rested on the hilt of his blade as he grinned at her, nodding once. "That's the sort of thing you should be doing, very good."

[member="Darth Valtryx"]

Valtryx remained silent, focused on the fight. With a graceful riposte, spinning her blade around his and forcing his aside, she would perform a series of jabs to try and force him backwards and maybe even off balance. The jabs were of course not very precise, with it being hard to do so without a curved-hilt, and also with her lack of experience, but nonetheless they would be a threat if on the receiving end. She was beginning to enjoy the form, the graceful kind of fighting interesting her. Hopefully she would progress it to a similar level as she did Ataru one day.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

Gliding back after his blade was knocked away, he would slide his way from [member="Darth Valtryx"] , twisting his body to move around the first strike. But he would bring his blade to knock away the second, brushing her red blade away to the side. He would keep going backwards, using his blue blade for defense as he nodded encouragingly to her. "Don't be afraid to mix it up. Doing the same thing lets your opponent read you and counter."

She smirked, pulling herself into a safe distance from her opponent. For a moment she remained still in a defensive guard, before finally doing something. At first she merely began spinning her blade in her hand, harmlessly of course, yet it would be hard for one to strike through it's area. Before Krest could try and stop the spinning, she grabbed the hilt firmly and sent a swift slice to his chest. It was rather sudden, hopefully being able to catch him off guard. However, her attack didn't stop at one slice. In the event he blocked it, she would spin her blade again and attack from his other side. She would continue this for a few strikes, depending on how many times he blocked. The whole time she stared him dead in the face, a slight smirk hung on her lips.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

With a raised brow he would watch [member="Darth Valtryx"] for a moment or two. Was she trying to impress with a simple hand twirl? And then her attack came in. Quickly he would bring his blade around, barely able to catch her blade as he sported a slightly surprised look on his face. But he quickly brought himself back , and when she brought around the next he would bring up his hand, sending a force push for her.
