Invasion Through the Gates of Hell (Republic Invasion of Empress Teta - Republic vs. One Sith)

Location: Outside of the Grand Library.
Objective: Do all the stuff I've been doing.
Allies: One Sith, DSotF, [member="Darth Arcis"], [member="Lady Exedō"], [member="Cractius Stretus"]
Enemies: The Republic, LSotF, [member="Kiskla Grayson"], [member="Darth Kentarch"], [member="Jared Ovmar"]
Music: The Incurso album by Spawn of Possession

Vornskr helped Shinju by keeping Kiskla incapacitated for a few moments so she could get all up close and personal with the Jedi Grandmaster, and then after some more struggle he yanked his Amphistaff back violently to wrench it out of her grip. The battle had raged out of his control, and too many variables had now presented themselves, some of them bringing forth new enlightenment to his eyes. The betrayal of Darth Kentarch wasn't entirely unexpected, but it still came at an abhorrent time, but it was not detrimental to this Sith's goals. Taking this moment of respite to back off from the battle, Vornskr made connection with the commander of the Blackblades that had dropped down with him, and was pleased to discover that they had pushed a majority of the Republic forces back away from the Great Library and created a solid perimeter.

The tide of the battle seemed to be shifting dramatically.

Vornskr allowed a few moments to recuperate before he once again joined the battle, but instead of going after the already dogpiled Grandmaster, he went after someone else. Swinging his Amphistaff around, he struck out like a viper right at Kentarch as his back was turned to the Epicanthix Sith Lord. The Lord of Guile had descended upon Shinju, and was moving to ram the blade of his saber through her shoulder-blades, but Vornskr did not aim to prevent that. Rather, he used this moment to try and lash the whip-like serpent around the Lord of Guile's neck, and pull back to either pull him away from the Cannibal-Empress, or start to crush his windpipe and strangle him. Either way, it would give Shinju and Arcis a good opening to pull of something of their own. Meanwhile, Vornskr had become painfully aware of the arrival of Jared Ovmar.

They both had met before, and had begun to talk about serious business concerning the sovereign realm that Vornskr ruled within Fringe Space. Luckily, Ovmar had not decided to actively engage the One Sith fighting down below, and thus wasn't in any danger from immediate retribution from the Sith Lord.

But he would have to be dealt with sooner or later.

Cractius still tugged at Darth Kentarch with the force even as [member="Darth Vornskr"] wrapped his staff around Darth Kentarch' s neck . Cractius looked away and could now clearly see the battle . The sith were starting to turn the tide , and Cractius would surely survive this . He used his other hand to start pressing Kiskla Grayson into the ground , assuring no escape for her

Saki watched the apprentice disappear, the assault of the force coming as she looked around and focused on what was happening while she moved. The force moving her body and taking in the sight of the battlefield and she found him. The sith who had went after her mind and was going after Aedan. The humming and soft glow from her skin giving way while the saber moved into a reverse grip and Saki nearly flew across the battle field from a leap sending a push off in a wave when she touched the ground to shockwave. The pale lavender blade shimmered and she spoke into the force more. Your corruption is at an end sith

Daichi pulled out of the mandalorians mind as quick as he entered. Whether the effect worked or didn't, it would seem his of support has come to an end. He slipped his hands behind his head as the Jedi rushed over. Her presence wasn't lost to him after all. As she landed he lifted up a hand, creating a barrier to deflect the blast itself. At the same moment Lighting arced from his fingertips, rushing out to meet the Jedi in a violent blast.

Sure, he wasn't very good at melee, but at a range, through the Force he would be stronger then any melee user. Such was the rule of specialization.

All the twisting and turning, it was enough to make her nauseated. The pain hit her and then would fade, and then hit her some more. Somehow in the mix of it, she would catch the off-beat message of [member="Darth Isolda"] but it would be quickly drowned out by the mental barriers she had established with the tactic earlier. However, it seemed the longer she was exposed, the more those barriers would break down. She didn't understand why, how could someone do such a thing? There had to be a bond on a level that she was unfamiliar with, perhaps a racial trait she never heard of. Being half-Vahla, there were things she never knew about the race as a whole, maybe that was how the woman was easily able to penetrate her mind and then fade away.

With the aide of the Force as well as the aide of [member="Spenser Jacobs"]’s valorous call, she was able to move faster than normal despite being physically beat. She sensed [member="Daella Apparine"] approaching her from behind and as the lightning unleashed it’s fury towards her form, she had met it with her lightsaber. Her body twisted and turned just slightly to bring the lightsaber up to meet the deadly charges, pivoting on the balls of her feet instead of moving her feet themselves. She did not dare maneuver her feet too much, for fear of losing sacred ground. She angled the blade just enough by twisting her wrist and tilting it, so as each bolt struck the energy blade, it would either dissipate or deflect off. The crackling energy almost caused her to miss the incoming swing meant to cleave her in two.

As the lightclub came in, Aaralyn brought the energy and the lightsaber downwards, slamming the lightclub into the ground. As both blades impacted the ground, a shower of embers exploded upwards and into the exposed parts of her skin. Aaralyn growled in pain [member="Darth Shara"] and cursed the One Sith in general. This battle was getting out of hand and fast. Each time she thought she had the upper hand on him, somehow someone new popped up. A rather annoying tactic she would have to find a way to end. Both hands clenched the single blade as she pinned down the lightclub.

She brought her right hand out and quickly called to Tyrena, the blade which was swatted away. She ignited the blade with the Force, the blade coming to life as it sailed through the air effortlessly. She jerked her hand back inwards to send it back into the fresh wound of [member="Darth Shara"] again. She would open that armor and his underlayer of skin armor up…It was time to see what this Dark Lord was truly made of. As her hand came back in, she brought it back down to the saber, keeping a firm lock against him and the blade into the ground.

Finally they had met the others. Now they had a better chance to survive. Well, probably. Taking a deep breath, Maria only waited until their team's leader tells them what to do. Or something. She was a bit tired of this dangerous, risky invasion and she would have given everything to get out of there. But she couldn't, she would have betrayed yet another faction, another family. The darkness in this place was great, strong enough to make Maria unsure about her thoughts, strong enough to make her confused. But probably it wasn't enough to change her thoughts.

But something was going on with Jannik. She heard him say some strange things, she heard him beign possessed, maybe? What was it? Who was it? It had to be something dangerous, that was for sure.

"What the kark is going on?" Maria muttered. It was weird.

It was really weird.

Objective: Through victory, my chains are broken.

This little Jedi had more of a fight in him than [member="Darth Kentarch"], a Sith Lord. Lord Arcis was quite pleased to find someone like him thought himself worthy of honorable combat. The Sith King bowed his head in respect for the Jedi as he recovered from being thrown into the wall. It was nice to find that some people still thought they could defeat him. They were right, they could defeat him. However, only those who actually fought rather than playing measly mind games, sneak attacks, and cunning tactics could bring down the Sith Lord. [member="Darth Vornskr"] could testify on that behalf.

Before Lord Arcis could begin his own movement forward into combat, a Force Push came flying from the armored Knight. The blast of wind and force shoved back the Sith Lord all the way to the wall, where he made a little impact. It didn't really hurt, but it had forced the Sith King into a corner. He'd had much less room to maneuver. Stang. The King growled, stepping out from the corner as to give himself a little more room before brandishing his double-bladed saber.

He hoped this Jedi liked surprises.

Readying himself in a Soresu defensive stance, the twin blue-white blades shimmered with anger.

He stood ready, ready to accept the charging Jedi.

Saki moved to both close the distance and bring her saber up, the blade going into two hands as she worked to not just ground the lightning. No she pushed to meet it as it came and try to reflect it back at the sith lord. An attempt few did it was easier to just block it but sometimes you got lucky and this day as Saki was searching around she felt lucky.... More then that she dind't know how long this would last and need to try and make the most of it should could while one with the force.

Objective: Break.

The first bolts hit Daichi square on. Pain was all he felt at first, but he felt something more. Here was his own lighting attacking him. Giving him pain. A twisted grin formed on his face as his second hand came up. Tutaminis. He absorbed his own lighting, and while one would think this would only become a never ending cycle, he changed it quite suddenly. Now brimming with his strength tenfold he stopped his blast.

His body was visibly crackling with energy. It was clear his body would not last, but who said it needed to remain so full? He reached out then, to lift her form into the air and throw her back at immense speed. But a question still remained. He reached further, feeling for something, anything that could resist his mind attacks before throwing her and he found it. The Sigil.

As he would throw her, his other hand had come up to take ahold of this item. To tear it away while her form would be launched backwards.

He barely registered the force push that had shoved the Sith Lord backwards into the wall of the Library. The Jedi Knight meant to take an aggressive stance against the Pureblood, and the force push would give Zaren either an advantage or disadvantage of more room. Since the Sith was more or less cornered at this point, he'd have a small space to maneuver, which was an advantage for the Jedi, but at the same time he'd also have a smaller area to defend.

He was beginning to wonder if it was his best idea to strike head on.

He knew he would find out within the next few moments.

He arrived at the Sith Lord, left hand clenching his purple lightsaber, and his right hand clenching to release two phrik knives into his palm. When he was three meters away, his right hand snapped forwards to release the first knife towards the centre of [member="Darth Arcis"]'s chest, and the other in the general area of the groin.

Then he was upon the Sith Lord.

His first strike to open up the lightsaber duel was to thrust his lightsaber, but he kept his legs spread so that he may riposte quickly if the Sith was to deliver a solid parry.

He stopped, cold. Sh-it was here. Exedo. Didn't care to say hello master? The telepathic message wen straight to the one and only [member="Lady Exedō"]. The time was here, he could do it, he could kill her, right here, now. She didn't care about order, no she wrought chaos everywhere she walked, the Dark Lord would understand, would he not? No, it wasn't the time for speculation. [member="Tracyn Ordo"] was the center of his attention. "You're wrong I'm afraid, it made sure of that." He responded his voice barely rising above the noise of the sabers colliding, to hide his regrets, his pain. Traycn who he would fight. For now. He pushed back against the Jedi, but it wasn't as strong as it could've been, it was elsewhere, focused on Shinju.

Shara roared.

There was no other word for it. The Sith Lord took in a deep breath, and roared at the woman. It was not a scream of the force, not a bellow called forth with the energies of the darkside. It was a simple Maelibus born roar, loud enough to deafen.

As soon as [member="Aaralyn Rekali"] pinned his saber with both arms Shara brought up his free hand, using it to bash away the womans lightsaber from his wound and sending it towards the ground instead, his Vonduun Crab Armor singing slightly as the blade attempted, and failed, to slice into it. Then the great Demon raised up his pinned lightsaber, the womans strength being logically inefficient to hold him down with only one hand. He swung the blade towards her legs, aiming to sever them.

At the same time he pulled himself back slightly, raising a massive foot and shooting a kick out towards her hopefully undefended chest.

Head bowed in reverence, her hair a black veil shielding her face. Blood would continue to drip down from her nose, mingling with the spittle of saliva that had fallen from her mouth. Silent pants would fall from her lips, that fervent prayer to the Bogan Goddess flowing from the recesses of her mind.

Nwûl tash.
Dzwol shâsotkun.

The Goddess is generous to her faithful.

In this, Darth Nephthys, daughter of Vahl, vessel of the One, sister in flesh and blood to Setesh, and child of the Dark Lord would feel the response of her sacrifice.

Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk.
Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan.

A blood price paid would be blessed in turn, as suddenly a crashing wave of energy would pour into the young woman, causing her to cry out a soundless cry of pleasure pain. Nails would rake across the ground, chipping and scraping flesh from the pads of her fingers, white knuckles stark against the blue veins popping out in relief against her skin.

Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha.
Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak.

But nothing from the Goddess came without a price. At the corners of her eyes, purple blooms of burst capillaries would form, a twisted beatific sight upon the pallid visage of the petite Sith. Her body would feel the strength and energy of the Dark Side of the Force churn through her body, a charge of lightning raging through sinew, vein, and bone. Clarity would resurface, and the woman would feel the renewed charge in her body, in her mission. In her goal.

Wonoksh Qyâsik nun.

The roar was deafening but luckily she was already partially deaf from her own scream.

The armored spaceroach had indeed pulled a fast one.

She quickly brought her saber in to block the lightclub, but was unable to block the massive foot from impacting her dead on. The hit dazed her enough to send a white flare of light into her vision, and she could feel her own body sail through the air a few meters and slam into a hardened object. Again, another white flare with a hint of black out mixed in this time. She abruptly spit out blood as a reflexive measure, attempting not to drown in her own fluids. She slid down the wall and collapsed to her knees, her hands barely managing to catch herself as her lightsaber deactivated. Each breath she took was a wheeze, each time she moved it hurt. Somewhere in the deep recesses of her mind, she was losing hope about this battle.

Blood dripped from her open mouth as she looked at the ground, the world around her a chaotic mess. She stared at the puddle in a dazed wonderment, and a few tears began to stray away from her eyes and down her face. They would fall from her cheek and drip into the pool of blood. Somewhere within her mind, she called out to [member="Ember Rekali"], her father. It was more a sorrowful apology and a sort've ~No matter what happens, you were a good dad. I should have been a better daughter.~ kinda deal.

Her gloved hands gripped the earth beneath her, clenching tightly as she gathered what strength she could to stand. It took a moment but she stand she did, she swayed and rocked a bit but she managed. She reached out through the Force with a grim expression of determination, her hand extending as best it could towards the fallen saber. The blade screamed through the air and into the palm of her hand, she thumbed the activation switch and with a snap-hiss the blue blade came to life.

There were no more formal stances, no fancy technique. Survive without giving into the darkness that itched at the edge of her emotions. She blinked back more tears and managed to give a bloody smirk to [member="Darth Shara"]. "I'm not done yet..."

As [member="Aaralyn Rekali"] continued to deal with Darth Junra’s lightning, she still spewed more arcs at the Jedi. Her eyes shifted to [member="Darth Shara"] the moment before her unleashed a terrifyingly loud roar meant to deafen the Jedi. With Darth Junra directly opposite of Aaralyn, she winced as Darth Shara bellowed. Her attack ceased.

Then, Aaralyn flew over her head after Darth Shara had kicked her back. Daella kept her eyes on her and turned around. She observed Aaralyn push past her pain to stand up once again. Both Shara and Aaralyn seemed extremely battered as Daella seemed fresh. Daella kept her eyes on Aaralyn’s face as she spoke.

For what end?” questioned Daella with a glaring look.

Upon saying that, Daella threw out her left arm toward Aaralyn once more. Her eyes narrowed as her influence in the Force extended toward Aaralyn. She flexed her fingers as if grasping something. As a result, the dark side of the Force would begin to apply pressure to Aaralyn’s neck. The longer Daella went unopposed, the stronger the bind would have grown until Aaralyn fell unconscious.

At the same time, Daella jerked her left arm forward. That grip that was growing around Aaralyn’s neck would attempt to yank her back and slam the woman against the hardened object behind her.

Shara moved in support of [member="Daella Apparine"]s attack.

He dashed forward as fast as he could possibly go, letting his lightsaber switch off before he reached [member="Aaralyn Rekali"]. His Vonduun crab armor was still mostly intact, with only the one piece of it compromised along with his back plates. He kept his arm pinned to his side, letting that little weak spot remain hidden for now as he dashed forward.

His hopes were simple, Aaralyn was being choked in the force, and perhaps even thrown back against the wall, once she struck the wall Shara would use his intense weight, speed, and strength to shoulder bash Aaralyn further into, and perhaps, through the wall, hopefully ending resistance.

Now that the jedi master had been handled there were a few loose ends to hold up, namely as Balaya moved her sith sister who was being held by the Republic troopers while they looked for the one who ordered them to pick the woman up. A 'low level' sith wasn't considered valuable to some but a sister was always important and the deal was an exchange that had happened. A smirk came to her face though as she charged into with a group of blackblades into the Republic troopers, her mind reaching out to sense that dark mark on the blind sith. "Sister." Balaya said it outloud and into the force as she turned around with a large backhand to send him into the one repulsor bringing the ship out of the air. "Spread out and secure the area."

Double team, seemed how the One Sith liked to work it. Spencer remained a short distance away from the three fighting. She recognized one of them, the blonde woman who fought against the Jedi. She held back a chuckle seeing that Daella was the one who brought her back to the Jedi. Quite the turn of events. Shrugging it off, Spencer adjusted her footing gaining some sort of brace for what she was about to attempt next.

The blonde focused her efforts on the other blonde who was choking the poor Jedi who bit off a bit more than she could chew. Remembering the bits of wreckage from the fighter that had crashed near the fight, Spencer used the Force to pick up pieces that were about a foot long and threw them towards Daella’s back. She needed to break the focused concentration of the Sith Lord.

Objective: get back into the fight

Darth banshee looked all over the sniper, but he could not be found. Most likely he had fled, and who could blame him. She was still undercover of the force, when from the vantage point she saw a major fight outside the library. She new where she was need, so she moved her way towards the building. She was limping a bit from her leg wound, but the bacta was doing it`s job. Also thanks to [member="Darth Veles"] medical aid she was holding it together. Though after this fight she have to contact [member="Ordo"], and ask why was [member="Aedan Miles"] here. She had gotten over the shock for know, as the was a fight to win. Though seeing him here had upset her, and she wanted to try and get to bottom of it. As she did not like having to kill mandalorians, but she was sure they where going to kill her and darth veles.

She moved over towards the fight then waited for the best moment to strike, and give a decisive blow for the one sith. As she did not want to ruin her first strike by some clumsy attack.

Huh,” muttered Daella as [member="Spencer Jacobs"] threw metal debris at her. Her head twitched back just a moment. Without any more hesitation, Daella dropped down to the ground. She deactivated her lightsaber mid-fall and used her right arm to break the impact. She kept her left arm extended and continued to apply the Force upon Aaralyn’s neck. However, the grip would have grown slightly weaker.

The debris flew over Daella as she remained prone on the ground. Since the debris was aimed at Daella’s back, the path of the debris was set toward both [member="Darth Shara"] and [member="Aaralyn Rekali"]. Darth Shara, being the one between Aaralyn and Daella, had the greatest potential to be struck. While the pieces were roughly a foot long, it could still cause considerable blunt damage at the least.
