Through Your Eyes [PM for invite]

The cavern continued to play tricks on them and more so they were being toyed with. The very thought of someone or something trying to belittle, no, trivialize the Host Lord had invoked the woman's innermost hostilities. Rage, hatred, bloodlust... Call it what you will; she had enough.

Summoning the force, Anja called upon her magicks and began to conjure darkside tendrils. Seemingly seeping out from nowhere, these strands of energy viciously warped the colours of faint light as they lashed outward. Striking, biting, latching; the tendrils soon faded as the witch collected the sudden energy into her hand, quenching on it. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes she began to find her way through the shadows until she felt a faint signature in the force.

Reaching out with her hand the collected powers of her magick began to rip out the beast within the shadows. A screeching roar resonated, echoing off of every wall in agony as the unknown creature was drawn forth.

"Let's see what you really are!"

And exiting the shadows was an abominable Kath Hound. The beast was twisted by darkness, perverted by powers the animal could not fathom. It grew larger than its species was meant to and its black fur was in patches, inflicted by vile diseases.

When they had first entered the room, if it was indeed a room, they had been distorted by the consuming and flickering lights within the caves. Now Delyna held a weird, glowing orb in her hand. The one whose name she wasn't entirely sure of inquired upon its nature, which - truly, the oracle was not sure of either. She shrugged. It seemed like the entire situation had angered their host lord, for [member="Anja Aj'Rou"] had sent her signature into the force and pulled forth an interesting - trick. Clearly a dark side power enforced by her anger and hatred, it reminded Delyna of her studies on Sith sorcery. Very primal powers.

Very chaotic powers. They reached out to any source of light they could, slashing and ripping away to stop the madness that prevented them from advancing. With a slight "Hm." the young woman closed her eyes and pulled the orb closer to her chest. At first it was left unmolested but, perhaps fortunately or unfortunately, it did not take long for the dark manifestations of the host lords power's to reach out for the artifact, which quickly had all the light drained of it. Now remaining was nothing but a constant, black globe. At least it posed no threat or obstacle to them, and perhaps it was for the better. That was in part why she had done nothing to attempt to prevent the tendrils, and instead let fate decide.

Speaking of fate; The host lord pressed onwards and the two of them had little alternatives to following her, not that the oracle minded. As they fumbled forwards blindly, she finally responded to [member="Marth"]and his question. "From what I understand of it this is nothing but a by product of the constant flow of the force in these ancient caverns. The constant pressure of the force from all directions shaped the crystals of this particular corridor into something more than common force crystals. It all seems quite unintentional but apparrently was a somewhat effective ward against non force users, and simple minded force sensitive scavengers. Whether or not we could have used the orb for anything remains quite uncertain, but its powers have not all vanished. We may yet find use for this trinket."

It did not take long before the trio were faced with a skulking beast erupting from the darkness before them. A Kath Hound of uncertain origin, bearing dark fur - a wounded and twisted form and its pale white eyes ignited with hatred for all. For a moment she thought to herself; Was its wounds a result of self inflicted desperation and fear - caused by the beast's own fangs or was it a side effect from the corruption? Had it been fighting other creatures of the darkness, dweling in the deep tunnels below Dantooine? Even more interesting - was this truly a Kath Hound, birthed by a normal inhabitant of this planet or was it in fact just a dark representation of some beings will to destroy?

Unable to examine all details of the beast in the darkness, Delyna Karthoys Haymire folded her hands and sat down, legs crossed in the right side of the pathway. With a slight tilt to her head she sighed. Her calm voice called out to her companions: "I do not believe the roar we heard earlier originated from this particular being."
